Pandas Going Down a Slide Open Thread

If you don't love this video, I just don't know what to tell you.

Before that video cheer-up, Egypt's strongman is now sort of offering the West: keep the money coming and we'll kill terrorists for you. Heck, we'll even rebuild some churches, if you like that sort of thing.

Well, now that you put it that way...

Anyone who wants to beat Christie will have to figure out some way to overcome Christie's network of very big-dollar donors.

Oh, re that "Three Black kids killed the white kid" story: Actually, it was two black kids and one white kid who did the murder. I know you can't see that from the mugshot pictures that were running-- because those were mistaken mugshots. They ran the picture of one kid twice in that picture. The white kid wasn't shown.

This story has the actual mugshots. As you can see, Murderer 3 is white.

On one of the alleged killer's Facebook pages, investigators found the message: "Bang. Two drops in two hours," Sky News reports.

"I think they were on a killing spree. We would have had more bodies that night if we didn't get them,” Ford said in an interview with the Australian Associated Press.

As you can see they were very eager to comply with all relevant statutes involving gun ownership.

If you play the video simultaneously with the following theme song it's... well it's not better. It's just something you could do.

Oh, and it's not as much fun as pandas, but goats go down slides too.

Well, mostly they just sort of fall off of them.

There is a fascinating article out there on the Web by a Jewish guy who went to prison, and found precisely that. The lines on the inside are color lines, and a Jew didn't fit into any recognized category among the convict population.

If I recall correctly, he ended up eating at the Aryans' table in the cafeteria, but only after they had left. In exchange for helping them craft appeals and whatnot in the prison library.

A freakin' men, the hippo doesn't get anywhere near the respect it deserves.  It's like a battleship that saunters up onto dry land and operates as a tank.  The hippo is the one animal on this planet that commits homicide  (shut up, you know what I mean) at almost the same rate as humans. 

Or maybe you don't know what I mean.  Hippos kill each other.  A lot.  They also happen to kill a lot of humans, but plenty of animals do that. 

Sure they look silly, but don't f*ck with them.  Serious you guys.

It's one of those things where the disconnect is unrecognized until it's too late.  They tell you it's not only ok to get an abortion, you also did a good thing.  So why would you need to hide it from anybody?

Until you have a kid, and then that kid comes face to face with the person who killed their sibling, and has to deal with the realization it could have been this one instead of that one. 

That's an "oops" moment mom can never take back.

355 Bored?  Heck why not go to the local food pantry and help there?  Or go cook some food at the place where people are being fed?  Or do some chores for an elderly neighbor?  Or do some chores for a disabled vet?  Or design and build something to help someone.  Like, go out of your own one dimensional zone and do something for someone else, make someone's day.  You get way way way more back when you are giving to others, way more.
