Rubio is dead to me. The Republican Party is dead to me. America is dead to me.
But having said that, I will give Rubio partial, grudging credit for not resorting to the race-baiting and name-calling some other Amnesty supporters (John McCain, Pandsey Graham, Grover Norquist, Michigan-Matt) were prone to. He never called anyone who favored more border security, or enforcement first a bigot, a “nativist,” or some other slur.
I think you have to give him credit for that.

If I was one to believe both the establishment R's and the leftist D's are quietly, or not so quietly, pushing for an even larger and ever growing federal gov't....one might think they've let the border go unsecured on purpose. Wait until a sufficient number, in the multiple millions, of illegals with no ties, no appreciation, and no understanding of our Constitution flood into our country. Create a crisis. Grant citizenship. Presto Chango....brand new America without all those pesky Constitutionalists bogging down the power grab.

No, I viewed it more as balancing the ticket. I never had a great illusion of Ryan being a conservative giant because he's too much a DC insider than I'd like and mainly is just good with numbers like Romney. I'm just disappointed he's getting snookered on this shamnesty crap.

I'm glad we have such record surpluses that we can afford Dem vote buying projects to minorities on other continents. Where they aren't minorities. And don't have votes to count here.

So I'm not the only one who is pissed that NBC shows the who won the race before the race starts?
I hit play and the first thing I see today is Nico Rosberg celebrating the victory. Also, NBC showed me 30 minutes of Tour De France coverage in place of the usual F1 pre-race coverage.

On the other hand, I'm mega-disappointed in Ryan. I had huge hopes for him. He had a few flashes of frattiness during the campaign but I considered his raised profile one of the few good things to come out of this election cycle. Oh wellsies-- best we know his true politics now.

Ryan outright LIED to Mark Levin on the air.
Mr. Ryan, you can kiss that congressional seat goodbye. Not only should these fucksticks be primaried, if they happen to win, then we need to turn out and vote for their opponents.
At least the other side will burn it faster and I'll still be young enough to fight back and start over.
