1 Good Morning Morons.  Today is Friday, November 29, 2013.  I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving and ate to their hearts content.  I sure did and my scales this morning show it.  ON this date in 1877 Thomas Edison demonstrated his phonograph for the first time.  One wonders if he had any idea the far-reaching impact on music it would have.  He did not play any rap or hip hop.

37 From the story about the kid with cancer whose coverage Obama has terminated as 'substandard':

“I called again, and then I was told he could expedite it," [his mom] explained. “But then, I called back the next day, and the next, and, finally, the lady told me the only way to expedite it is if my son was pregnant and in labor or an illegal."

Pretty much sums  it up.

40 Reading over old threads this morning, I saw someone asked about peeling boiled eggs. Try adding a slightly-heaped teaspoon of baking soda when cooking them. Not much more or less, or in won't help. You'll occasionally have one that splits open while cooking, or one that still doesn't peel easily, but overall it's a tremendous improvement.

48 Is that racist or just a good educated assumption? Sadly, it's how one has to decode the Progressive Pravda news these days. Numerous examples abound. Fr'instance, if the article has anything good to say, it's always about The Agenda and those who promote it. If it's negative, it's always about a Pubbie, a conservative, the Tea Party, Ted Cruz, She Who Must Not Be Named, traditional American values, Flyover Country, the Constitution or old white guys.

94 Sean, you'd assume a jarhead holds conservative values, but the military does have a few libtards in the wood pile, esp on the "O" side. How they square that circle is a mystery to me. True. But not this guy. Grew up on a pig farm in Georgia. NOT an Academy grad. Five combat deployments. This gal was staggered by how many firearms he owned. These are all good signs. He even took her to the range 2 weeks ago to introduce her to the evil, semi-automatic, assault black gun. She had a ball. If you read her bio on the NPR website, we'd all roll our eyes and think, "typical liberal" But he's got his hooks in deep on her political views. 120 Black Friday warm-up: According to police, a man purchased a big-screen television from the Target near Flamingo Rd. and Maryland Pkwy. While he was walking to a nearby apartment complex, a suspect approached and fired a warning shot, causing the victim to drop the television. Officers tell 8 News NOW the suspect then took the television to a nearby waiting vehicle, where a second suspect was waiting. As the first suspect was loading the television into the vehicle, the victim approached and tried to get the television back. That prompted the suspect to fire several more rounds, shooting the victim in the leg.

Posted by: Icedog at November 29, 2013 08:28 AM (uZ6Ul) Our local news does the same thing. They never give the race of perpetrators anymore. Otherwise, it would require acknowledging the rampant violence in the black community. Since criminals tend to commit the crimes where they live, the blacks are the ones being ill-served by the bigotry of low expectations by the Leftists and MFM.

Then I felt pissed off that liberals never, ever, ever feel badly about injecting their politics and assuming that everyone agrees with them.

A taxpayer dies and her estate is gobbled by the mob (liv/dems).
