73 True story, anybody who grew up in the 80's knows how big Mtv was back then, but my folks didn't want to pay for cable so for years i had to listen to all my friends talk about all the great videos they were watching and i would constantly beg my folks to get cable so i could watch Mtv. So, one day i'm sitting in school and i get called to the office saying my mom was there to pick me up. I assumed something horrible had happened but she had just finally gotten cable that day and pulled me out of school so i could watch Mtv.

92 Mad props to anybody who shows Iggy. Having grown up in South-West Detroit (note to Journey fans, there IS NO SOUTH Detroit), but I digress. I was in the music biz as early as high school and there was a White Motown back then, and many bands recorded, or booked thru SureShot Productions. The band that was most famous was The Romantics. Another was The Mutants, The Cadillac Kids, and a singer who was/is the sexiest performer in Detroit, Niagra. I could go on and on about The Scene, as such I am in total awe of Iggy and anybody else who is out there Rocking The Free World.

Iggy's best IMHO. If you don't have this, get it. Apparently Mr.Pop was contracted to deliver an LP to his label, instead of doing something serious he pocketed the advance and gave them these halfassed recordings off the mixing desk. But, the result is halfassedness at it's best. Best versions of TV Eye and Funtime, to boot.
