— andy Maxine Waters really amped up the sequester scare tactics today:
... We donÂ’t need to be having something like sequestration thatÂ’s going to cause these jobs losses, over 170 million jobs that could be lost ...
Per the BLS, as of January 2013 there were 143.3 million people employed in the US. The total civilian workforce is 155.7 million people.
Looking at the bright side, though ... to lose over 170 million jobs, we must briefly go to 109% of the workforce being employed first. So there's that.

Why this woman still holds office is beyond me. Remember "No justice, no peace" during the Rodney King riots? And 52 people dead? Where in her oath to uphold the Constitution does it say anything about inciting riots?
The only thing protecting her rabble rousing ass is blackdemocratium. And I am sick of it.

Because here's what will happen... nothing.
Probably most people will never hear of this. But let's assume the Media engages in an accidental incident of journalism.
When it comes out, she'll say, "That's not what I said!" and people will nod along. Then the video will get play and she'll say, "Well maybe that's what I said, but it's not what I meant!" and people will not along. Then something will come out pointing out that such a statement is fairly odd if it's "not what you meant," and she'll say, "Well, I meant to say those words, but obviously I was exaggerating for effect!" and people will not along.
At no point will very many people, if any, stop and wonder "Why would the head of the Senate Finance Committee be so woefully uninformed about the state of our economy?"

ace, ace, ace. You've got to look at this like a politician.
In Washington, DC, a slowdown in the rate of growth is considered a cut. "Our budget is getting cut by 10%! Instead of a 15% increase, we're only getting 5% more than last year!"
Maxine is just doing the same thing with jobs.
"There are about 150 million people employed in the country. If we didn't have stupid Republicans getting in the way with this stupid sequest, that number would be at LEAST twice that amount by this time next year. That's right, without Republican obstructionism we'd have 300 million people employed in this country by next year. Hell, by the end of THIS year! So because of Republican's getting in the way, 170 million jobs will be lost!"

The second part (if he really said it: thing about this "not quote" is it's really freaking close to something he might actually have said)- would just so how stupid (again) Slow Joe is.
Well, the Illinois Second Congressional District is sending a new placeholder who, undoubtedly, will add to the IQ of the CBC in just the way that Maxine does.

The 4 types of officers:
The brilliant and energetic man makes the best staff officer. He handles routine work with accuracy and completeness.
The brilliant and lazy man makes the best commanding officer. He tends to see the big picture accurately and avoids preoccupation with detail work which might distract him.
The stupid and lazy man makes the best subordinate. He will do what he is told properly, no more no less.
The stupid and energetic man, however, is to be avoided at all costs. He is quite capable of ruining the best laid plans.
Guess which ones populate government.

Sometimes your obdurate stupidity is useful.
We're mad at Boehner for lots of reasons. First off, this was no mere "reauthorization," it was an expansion.
Second- he bent his knee to people who are all as smart as Ms. Waters to do it.
This just reinforces how bad a decision that was.
And believe me, we have plenty of hate to go around.

Trying to make people think you're intelligent by using rarely used words has always been a red flag for me. But you did support a truther over Perry so not unexpected.

Guam might tip over: Hank Johnson (D-GA)
Astronauts on Mars: Cynthia McKinney (ret. D-GA)
Lose more jobs than workforce: Maxine Waters (D-CA)
By the rules of the media, this means all Democrats are dumber than a first grader.
Didn't the mad king say something about 10,000 people dying in tornado?

Remember this is the scrunt who, among other infractions to decency, gave Damien "Football" Williams (who beat Reginald Denny nearly to death) a job in her office, and referred to him as a "fine young man".

President Obama’s budget will probably be released in March, White House press secretary Jay Carney said Thursday, but has been delayed in part by “manufactured crises” including sequestration.
*seething*
I promised myself -- PROMISED -- that I'd try to get through the day without contemplating murder.
Well, I tried.
1) As mentioned, the President's budget is REQUIRED BY THE CONSTITUTION. Dumbass fucker!
2) Manufactured crises? Remind me again, who's the one who's been wailing and gnashing his teeth about how DREADFUL Sequestermageddon is going to be? Who's the one who hasn't seen fit to offer one single solution? WHO'S THE ONE WHO SUGGESTED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE? In short, who's the one who's manufacturing a crisis?

Good thing Mooch got her Aspen vacation in before the sequester.

How do we even begin to fight against such incompetence, stupidity, and disregard for the good on the Nation. We rail against it pretty much 24/7 here, but that has really done us a lot of good (Obama 2.0, Boehner as SoH, McCain re-elected, conservatism pretty much defanged, media bias so evident you can trip over it, an insane budget, crap economy for as far as the eye can see, no XL pipeline, Hagel as SecDef, etc. I am really and truly discouraged.

Well, I could have written "stubborn and short-sighted" but I'm lazy.
On the other hand, I did support Debra Medina. And, while I'm not crazy about her "having questions" about 9/11, I think she was a much needed force to pull Perry to the right 3 years ago, and I like a lot of her ideas regarding taxes and spending- still. Not sure how they'd work out practically, but that's a different matter.
You seem to love acting like a self-satisfied Democrat bitch a lot, you know that? Rather than answer the point- that your defense of Boehner is hackneyed and beyond stupid- you'd rather turn it around in a non sequitur ad hominem attack against me.
Fuck. That.
Answer it, nancy-boy. Why should I spend one moment supporting Boehner? What has he done to support Conservatism in the last 5 years? Heck, he hasn't been speaker that long: the last 2? Tell me.
Also- you left your sock on.

Suddenly senile!
I cannot think clearly.
I nap through my meetings,
And soil my Depends!
Suddenly senile!
I mean this sincerely:
They don't do things nowadays
Like in 1910!

We are so blind who will not see. Rosa Parks was not a simple seamstress whose lonely act of defiance in 1955 sparked the Civil Rights Movement. She was a trained Communist Party Activist and had been employed by the NAACP since 1943. She was seretary of the Montgomery Chapter at the time of the events in 1955. The NAACP organized the bus "provocation."
Prior to the events, she had attended the Highlander Folk School, a Tennessee center for training activists for workers' rights and racial equality. She acted as a private citizen "tired of giving in".
I am not disparaging the Civil Rights Movements, its goals, or accomplishments. I question only the presence of myth and the absence of fact in the historical record.

And now, a late but strong entry from the Senate for stupidest person in Congress. Wait for it ...
Yes, it la Boxer! Here goes:
"Those who survived the San Francisco earthquake said, 'Thank God, I'm still alive.' But, of course, those who died, their lives will never be the same"

Simple example, let's multiply 123 by 11: Bring down the units - 3; add the following two digits - 2+3=5; continue the process 2+1=3; finally bring down the 1.
Your answer is: 1353. It wasn't that hard. There are many other trick just as easy.
