— Open Blogger Ha! This is a real radio commercial put out by Northstar Ford in Alberta, Canada as a way to deal with a recent theft at one of their dealerships:
This was put up sometime in 2012. I wonder if the thieves were ever caught?

".What did you do?
I went to a showcase and showed her one of these Jennifer Aniston bags that are very popular. I explained to her that these bags were available in various materials and sizes, as I always do. She looked at a rack behind me. Far up. That's where the 35,000 franc crocodile bags are exhibited. I told her that it was the same bag I was holding right there in my hand. Only that it was much more expensive. I was happy to show her other bags.
Oprah Winfrey claimed on US TV that you refused to hand the bag to her for racist reasons.
That's absolutely not true! I even asked her whether she she wanted to have a closer look at it! Ms. Winfrey then looked around the shop again but didn't say anything else.
Winfrey claimed that you said this to her: "You don't want to look at this bag. It's too expensive. You can't afford it."
That is not true. That's absurd. I would never say anything like that to a customer. Really not! Good manners and politeness are the alpha and omega in this business."
Can't do the rest because of space. the original pies was in Blick, a German lanquage Swiss mag. You will find a translation at Islam versus Europe, a Euro blog on dhimitude.

“It’s not only our opinion, the industry sentiment is also that Windows RT has not been successful,” Asustek Chief Executive Jerry Shen told The Wall Street Journal on the sidelines of its post-earnings conference.
Mr. Shen said Asustek will make Windows 8 devices solely for Intel Corp.Â’s (INTC) chips, due to the systemÂ’s backward compatibility that Windows RT lacks. Critics of Windows RT have said the operating system lacks enough applications to compete with Google Inc.Â’s (GOOG) Android or Apple Inc.Â’s (AAPL) iOS.

Yes, because he is staying in the "modest" 5000 sq ft vaca home of a "friend from chicago" and the house has a basketball court but, for whatever reason, barky assumed they did not have basketballs, so he brought TWO giant bags full of them. Now, most people could get by with a single basketball (even me, facrissakes) but apparently he shoots hoops like he pitches baseballs and mulligans golf balls, so they needed a lot of 'em. {insert evil thoughts here}

I thought I was toast. The ship had someone from the staff escort my right to the front of the line at Customs. I thought I was busted. My father bought a '76 Granada new, and the darn thing just lasted and lasted. When he passed away, my sister inherited the car, and it ran and ran. Had two major collisions on it (Vancouver traffic), and it still ran and ran. Kids and dogs could not wreck the upholstery, either. Granadas may have been an ersatz Mercedes, but they were solid suckers.

I'd like some day to live in a country where the border authorities are less concerned with what citizens are trying to sneak in in their luggage, and more concerned with people who aren't citizens trying to sneak into the country.

it's cheaper to bring them with them as there are a tons of logistics in buying anything for any President out and about that isn't pre-planned.

My dad bought his brand new in '76 with the 250 inline 6. It was starting to fall apart about 2 years afterward. This car was the reason he switched to Toyota in '81 and never looked back. It had potential, but maybe my dad should have bought the 302 V8 version.

The Granada was a classic of its unfortunate period. It had McPherson strut front suspension, still rare then, and the great little 200 Six that was meant for the Mustang. It was light for its size -- which was on the compact size back then -- and handled way better than average. That was an engine that would last forever, and if you could stand to tear off some analog plumbing, it could be tri-powered.

Too many trying to make it pass the tests, and not enough black hearted evil bastards asking "what if", breaking shit on purpose, and intentionally fucking up maintenance items to see what happens when the ball gets dropped.
Its easy to make something "work" and thread its way through a set of performance tests.
Its not so easy to make it work, or at least not kill people, when shits all busted, worn out, and gone pear shaped.
I've been kinda irritated by some of the auto recalls that have happened lately too. Some of that shit's just screaming inadequate testing.
