Russian Climate Scientists: Are You Ready For Global Cooling?

On one hand, it could be quite cold and dreary, and food would be more expensive.

On the other hand, some of us will be warmed by gloating, and we'll all get into tremendous shape doing victory dances once a day.

Solar activity follows different cycles, including an 11-year cycle, a 90-year cycle and a 200-year cycle. Yuri Nagovitsyn comments.
Â“Evidently, solar activity is on the decrease. The 11-year cycle doesnÂ’t bring about considerable climate change Â– only 1-2%. The impact of the 200-year cycle is greater Â– up to 50%. In this respect, we could be in for a cooling period that lasts 200-250 years. The period of low solar activity could start in 2030-2040 but it wonÂ’t be as pervasive as in the late 17th centuryÂ”.

actually I have noticed an uptick in polyester in clothing lately, since the cotton market is screwed they seem to be mixing a lot of polyester into shirts that used to be 100% cotton.

That's the longest "heating season" I've ever seen in Palm Beach and I've been here since the mid 80's.

139 90 actually I have noticed an uptick in polyester in clothing lately, since the cotton market is screwed they seem to be mixing a lot of polyester into shirts that used to be 100% cotton. Could it be preppers causing the uptick, at least partially? I love cotton but it's the worst fabric for SHTF planning. Wears out quickly, absorbs sweat and needs to be cleaned more often. I'm noticing an uptick in things like jerky and trail mix. And we all know about guns and ammo sales through the roof, but camping/hunting/fishing gear is through the roof. So are survival books (tree identification, foraging for food in the wild, etc.) I think the preppers are becoming a retail force. The MSM will never, ever acknowledge this. The only way to tell is by reading the signs.
