I agree. The woman who I think I picked correctly at the deli this week wore man-jeans, a man-sleeveless shirt, tucked into her rotund waist, with a pocket-watch chain thing and gave off a few clues as to being a potential candidate for a Barky cabinet post. It is not frumpy clothes and no make up, it is the posturing that gave her away. Or she made a very unfortunate choice in clothes that day.
While I would rather be caught dead than leave house without mascara unless house is on fire, I know women who shun make-up and they are married and the soul of the earth and good friends. I should not have implied that homely or plain is the case. Dressing like a biker or a man are the clues that make it plain to me. Ten years ago I did not even think about it, and just thought they were "Tom boys." The ghey thing is so in my face, including in CHURCH, that I cannot stand it.

My mom used to hike the Blue Ridge. Not far at one time. 6-7 miles at a time till she was 60. We fought like hell when I was a teen, but we'd hike when I was a few years older. Question - Iran and Russia are arming Assad, and I guess Hezbollah. JEF want to arms rebels, who are Al Qaeda. If he does that, what if Israel hit those arms shipments too. Then what?

Benadryl also has a dissolvable strip version available if getting the rug rats to swallow a pill is a problem. I keep those in my first aid kits.

From an Israeli perspective , whoever "wins" this Syrian conflict, will turn their attention to Israel.
I hope they keep the Sunni / Shia war going, and assist whoever is behind. Let them all kill each other.
In a way it's the perfect storm. Muzzies from across the world are heading to Syria. Make it a one-way ticket.

There are two things -- first, you have to "search and destroy" all instances of certain weeds for about a month or two. Then they move into maintenance mode. Dandelions are a good example.
The second, you want to hit it with the goop that's supposed to kill broadleaf weeds and leave your lawn alone. My best results came from the time that I accidentally dosed it in T per gallon instead of t per gallon -- it crisped some sections of the lawn, but (for a change) it sliced like a fuckin' hammer on the weeds. It also says to do it no more than twice a year and more than a month apart.....FTN. That's the only way to get stuff like clover out.
And, as far as the type of lawn -- if your lawn isn't resistant to the stuff that kills weeds, it's the wrong type. Overseed it with something more useful.

Just my dime-store instant intel analysis from two quickly viewed YouTube vids, but the images are consistent with the NYT report (yes, NYT, but in this case easy to extract the intelligent speculation and substantive leaks, and there isn't much nonsense - Mike Gordon's weird but he was never part of the NYT's problem, bit of a lightweight but not full libtard .... lessee, so that makes him a colossus in the pernicious wasteland that is "journalism" ..... and yes a few years back I was a Beltway national security journalist my own self).
The NYT report sez the Israeli strike was on a Damascus Airport Iranian-controlled warehouse full of new-ish solid-fuel Iranian rockets that could be bound for Hezbollah in Lebanon. The secondary explosions seem consistent, to me, with a warehouse full of ordnance being hit.
All this activity in Syria (I mean the actual fighting/mayhem, the Iranian, Turkish, Russian, and other activity related to it) has simply got to be the best possible situation for Israeli intel. Everybody's showing some leg, doing stuff, responding to stuff, under pressure, fog of war, etc. Gold mine for both passive observation and of course for active penetration/exploitation/cooperation/co-optation of various players.
The strike, if it was as described above, is a good reminder of the real stakes in Syria. Iran. The Assad regime's demise will be, of course, Freak Out Time for Hezbollah, as they get cut off from Iran. But for Iran, the strategic blow will be massive. Their only real foothold in the Arab Sunni world, and a key crossroads it has been (meddle in Lebanon, menace Iz'rl directly across a border, second front on Iraq, platform to fuck with Jordan and the Saudis).
Spoke briefly with an Israeli intel official last year, asked him whether he agreed that almost any conceivable outcome in Syria (i.e., Alawite regime gone or almost gone) would be an improvement over the status quo ante (for Israel, and the US): quick, emphatic "yes".
