Something Silly: U.S. States Personality Map [Y-not]
— Open Blogger

As the U.S. becomes more and more polarized (thanks to President Petulance’s unity platform), many of us have relocated to greener pastures and many more are considering making a move. How do you decide where to live? Well, after factoring in economic factors such, as job growth and real estate markets, and personal factors, like proximity to family, you might also want to consider the “mood” of the states you’re contemplating to see if it fits with your personality. This article published in Time offers a short test to match you with the right state by mood.
I got New York.

YeahÂ… just NO.

Where should you live? Does this map fit what youÂ’ve experienced in different parts of the country?

(BTW my adopted state of Utah got ranked the most “agreeable.” Obviously this study was done before I moved there – now get off my lawn!)

10 Well I've been a Southern Californian for 80 percent of my life--and the test put me in Georgia.  That's not so bad.
If I'd been as big a pussy as the Bamster is, they woulda put me in New  York. But you'd be pissed off  as well if you had Chuck Schumer, "Little Tony" Wiener, Hillary Clinton and Charlie Rangel representing you in Congres.

11 The Texas color doesn't look right. It makes sense that the warmer states are more "relaxed." Because, yea, baby, sun and warmth. But, Texas is bluish. No way.

I'd never move back to Colorado.  Californians infiltrated it and ruined it for the rest of us.  Don't believe me?  Try any of the jeep trails in Clear Creek County...  Oh yeah, they're all closed now.  Texas is a great place to live.  They must have sampled too many people around Houston to get the neuroticism rank of 34.

Although it was the first time in my life two white men tried to hit on me while I was just going about my business, one from inside his car on the road in Park City and the other while I was at the meter trying to pay for parking in SLC. I had to wonder what was in the water in UT.

Lumping it all in as THIS STATE RANKS #44 in ______________ doesn't tell you anything. I live in Washington state. The part of the state though has nothing in common with Seattle. Not even the weather. So if the survey says WA state is ranked #27 nationally for this or that, it's meaningless since Seattle is probably #5 and my county is #44 or vice versa.
