When Obama was offered the authority to make the spending cuts wherever he chooses, anywhere in the government's multi-trillion dollar budget, it was the only power that this power-grabbing president has rejected.Why? Because with this new power would go responsibility for the consequences of his choices. And responsibility for consequences is precisely what both the Obama administration and the Senate Democrats have been avoiding for years, by refusing to pass a federal budget, as required by the Constitution of the United States.

If Obama succeeds in maneuvering the Republicans into positions that cause them to lose control of the House of Representatives in the 2014 elections, then as a president who never has to face the voters again, he would be in an ideal position to create a big spending liberals' heaven.But it will be far from heaven for the economy, with Obama-appointed bureaucrats burying businesses in red tape and job-killing costs, while expanding the size and arbitrary powers of government. We could become the world's largest banana republic.
Obama has three aspects which make the path of the tyrant likely:
1. He has a monstrous narcissism and actively encourages a pseud-religious passion in his followers.
2. He's a socialist, and therefore believes in the totalizing power of government and politics.
3. He's incompetent, and therefore can never solve a crisis and bring a situation into a stable state. Instead, we simply move from one crisis to another.
All these work horribly well together. An incompetent socialist's reaction to failure is, of course, more socialism. A socialist who already believes in the untrammeled power of government and politics is even a bigger believer when he conceives of himself as a near-god.
Obama's Main Goal: Taking Over Congress. Change We Can Believe In turns out to be about little but political power.
Old Washington hands have been scratching their heads about the start of President Obama's second term, with its aggressive liberal priorities and attacks on Republicans. Whatever happened to governing? Well, the answer arrived this weekend as the Washington Post reported that Mr. Obama's real plan for the next two years is returning Nancy Pelosi as House Speaker in 2014.
"The goal is to flip the Republican-held House back to Democratic control, allowing Obama to push forward with a progressive agenda on gun control, immigration, climate change and the economy during his final two years in office, according to congressional Democrats, strategists and others familiar with Obama's thinking," reports the Post, which is hardly hostile to the President.

Personalize it. Make it about old and young, women and men, and at least one example of every race anyone can identify. Talk about the problems of real people and drive home the message that Obama is not listening and does not care.
Build the message on these foundations: Obama is irresponsible, Obama is insensible, and Obama is unreasonable. But mostly, that Obama is not listening and he does not care.

Obama's fiscal damage has mostly already been done. It was done when he had a veto proof majority. Since then he is basically coasting on what he got passed then.
What I fear most is his ability to add two younger liberals to the court. While this won't necessarily upset the balance of power immediately, it certainly sets the stage for a shift later on.

When the Repubs took the House they refused to even vote on any Republican budget in the Senate because they knew two things; (1) Republicans did not have the balls to shut it down with no budget and (2) If they would not do that then they would get to keep the Obama budget with the $T+ deficits.

No one really cares that the Senate hasn't passed a budget. It hasn't stopped the US from spending money. Arguing over the fact that the House hasn't passed a budget is useless to the voting public. Its a waste of energy.

1) Wreck the country so more people are fearful and dependent on the gov't for survival - This is happening as we watch.
2) Disarm the populous so we can't stop his power grab - Why do you think they're so desperate to implement gun control?

4) Replace 1, or better 2, conservatives on the Supreme Court with "Justices" who will rubber stamp his take over of power - Clarence Thomas better watch his back or he and his wife might just be found shot to death in their RV in a Walmart parking lot.
If he can't get congress and the SC to overturn or invalidate the 22nd amendment, he'll just use the Argentinian solution and run Michelle in 2016. That's one (of many) reason(s) I cringe every time Michelle Obama does a publicity stunt. I fear it's their backup plan.

Everybody - even the few who are NOT within the lapdog media (which has become a propaganda machine, not actual media) - seems to have missed that his little rant was LITERALLY his moral justification for nationalizing any private company - i.e., socialism. Hardly a "gaffe", he repeated his thoughts three or four times.

Then I intend to retire to my country house in Hawaii with Reggie, Moochie and the kids, where I will smoke all the weed I want and indulge myself.

People still seem afraid to point out the role of racism in all this. Nobody cared about any of that. He spewed sweet nothings, was "cool", and was - most of all - "black". They were so hyped-up on the race angle, nobody wanted to to hear that he was better described as a "biracial, half-Kenyan, or as Kenyan-American". He has about as much in common as American blacks as I have in common with a guy in Alaska who's father was a Russian immigrant (I'm a white guy from Buffalo) - we both have pretty fair skin tones.
As the banner-carrier for Diversity, one of the Left's Holy tenents, he was very much their Messiah, and the media tripped over themselves to get him into office. 97% of ANYBODY generally can't all agree on damn near anything, and if 97% of white people voted AGAINST Obama they'd have been called "racist" (even though Obama is 1/2 white!), but 97% of a certain other demographic voted FOR him, and are never accused of the same, and their role is the endless problems to come, that might have been averted, is never pointed out. The very people who have been hurt the most, and for whom MLK is supposedly some sort of Patron Saint, never even considered "the content of his character".
