I got to the morning thread right at the tail end, so I'll repost a couple of links here.
If you want an excuse for heavy drinking, this should fit the bill nicely:

In happier news, NASA is going ahead with a long term demonstration project for laser-based space communications:

The technology is currently being tested on the LADEE lunar orbiter, and it has been a resounding success:

(I'm kind of partial to the LADEE mission because I had the rare privilege of watching the launch from my front yard.)
Just imagine being able to watch a live "Jupiter cam" from the comfort of your home.

Kirsten Powers is one journalist who had her premium double. I put FNC on & she said she's one of the few people okay with it, but didn't expect it to double.
I think Rove might have Los his too, but I ignore him.
I know the MSM journalists are going to lose theirs & they will turn on The JEF when it hurts them financially.

Greetings:
If one still need's to be disabused of a "noble savage" fallacy, T.R. Fehrenbach's "Comanches: The History of a People" might well do the job. Even other "noble savages" didn't much like those Comanche "noble savages".
