we print more money, am I doing this right?

According to the calculator on my Obamaphone, that is...
correct.

$10.10 an hour at 28 hours/week is $283.
Problem solved."
Hahahahahahahahahah
I didn't even think to do the math on this; for some reason I assumed it would actually work in the cook's favor.
Hahahahahahahahah

Because he's a) quite literally stupid, b) a liar, c) a full of sh*t Fascist, or d) all of the above.
An argument could be made for any of those responses. I lean d).

This Obama statement demonstrates the falsity of the cliched Progressive argument that Conservative policies "leave the middleclass and poor to struggle on their own," the assumption being Progressive policies are designed to ensure safety nets or wide-ranging government support.
Clearly this fry cook is forced to struggle on his own--not due to Conservative principles of self-reliance--but due to his mistaken belief the government was going to take care of him.
You've got a kid who not only can't afford Obamacare premiums, but who also is cut to part-time hours. If and when he minimum wage is hiked, he then loses hid fry-cook job where he is at least trying to be responsible.
What's he gonna do? Who knows--there are a lot of service industry jobs out there. Unfortunately, not everyone can be in this industry. We need makers. Will this kid succeeed? I dunno, but I can tell you this: Progressive policies like Obamacare, food stamps, quantative easing, and pushes for minimum wages and illegal immigration amnesty are vastly outstripping the American capacity to assimilate their impacts to the middle class.
