By around 8:30 a.m., a large crowd of schoolchildren and royal watchers were waiting for him, on a beautiful and tranquil morning at the nation’s best known national military cemetery, in the Virginia suburb across the Potomac from Washington. The young royal, a captain in the British Army who just returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan as a helicopter pilot, went first to Section 60 of the cemetery where soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan are buried. He placed a wreath at one of the graves with a message: “To my comrades-in-arms of the United States of America, who have paid the ultimate price in the cause of freedom. Captain Harry Wales” He is to lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider during a solemn ceremony there, as well. Dressed in his blue dress uniform with the sky-blue cap, Harry walked among the graves, grasping his hands behind him in the classic Windsor stance, as seen in live pictures shown on CNN. Following his visit to the cemetery, Harry will make his way to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to spend time with wounded veterans. When he wraps up his tour of D.C., the prince will head to Colorado Springs, where he’ll cheer on vets at the Warrior Games. From there, he’ll be in New Jersey and New York on Monday and Tuesday to tour Hurricane Sandy damage, promote British tourism and attend a charity fundraiser. This trip across the U.S. won’t be all work, though. The final leg of his trip will allow Harry to relax a bit as he plays in a polo match in Greenwich, Conn., a game that will also serve as a fundraiser for his African charity. He's OK in my book

I'm tired of that being used as an "explanation" for letting four people die without coming to their defense.  I want to believe that Petraeus is better than that but I still don't have any concrete evidence to support that.

There is an app that targets CCW holders, and then geo tracks their every move.  The app also has access into their most private information, including but not limited to, facebook info, contact info, known associates, family members, texting history, and web history.

Then the app takes that info and uploads it to a central site where it is in the safest of hands.

104 What I don't understand is why the MSM continues to suckle at the Obama Adminsitration teat (yeah, I get the "fellow travelers part, thx). I mean, are things really better for them now, from a business point of view? Weren't they getting more traffic and page views (hell, maybe even selling more NEWSPAPERS) back in the good old days of bash Teh Bushhitler and Repulicansarescum? Seems to me that the best thing for them would be to try to get an R back in the White House so they can back to business as usual as (fake) journalism outfits. Has to be easier to just make stuff up that people will fall all over themselves to read than trying to coo and warble to try to find out what will please the Government Masters ™. Unless, of course, they really like that sort of thing.

108   51  . . .  In other not so great news, my pet guinea pig "Oreo" (because he's coloured just like one), doesn't look like he will last the weekend. Some sort of internal problem is making it very hard for him to breathe and move about, and the vet said it doesn't look good. We are trying to make him as comfortable as we can. He's had 5 long years of life, getting fat, playing in the backyard, and making friends with the cat and dogs. It's his time to go up to the big glass cage in the sky.

I lived with a little part-Persian cat who was named that by her previous people.  Not only her coloring, but the fact she was little and round and sweet, made it a perfect name.  She passed on into the Long Sleep about five years ago, and I still miss her.  You'll always remember your Oreo.
