The Masters
— rdbrewer

In a few minutes, there will be a playoff between Angel Cabrera from Argentina and Adam Scott from Australia. Both players finished at nine under. You can see it on CBS or at Masters.com. (Use the drop down menu in the video box to choose the coverage.)

The playoff will start on 18, then it will go to 10. According to Jim Nantz, a playoff has never gone beyond two holes.

Golf should have sudden death Playoffs...

Where they start 200 years apart.... hit balls at the same time... and if you take out your opponent... you win...

If no one hits at 200, you go to 150... then 100.... then 75... then 50.... 25.... and then... Dueling putters at 10 ft...

If both opponents hit on the same shot... its a do over unless one player cannot continue due to injury!

Chippewa County. Bears at feeders are not uncommon. Bears in my barn eating barn cat food are not uncommon. Bears in my garage looking for God knows what, also not uncommon. 256 Anyone else get a little sick of the Australia angle on CBS? The way they were going on you'd think an Australian was about to discover the cure for cancer.

"It's 9:30 in Australia, from Perth to Sydney to Melbourne, all of Australia watching as Adam Scott is about to putt for the Masters win."

Holy fuck. It's a gold tournament for crying out loud CBS. Sure it's cool and all for your countryman to win. But come on.

And PS CBS, Oz has 4 times zones. So it wasn't 9:30 in all of Australia.

I would have let the poor bastid live and go about his business.  Not judging, I just couldn't have killed that magnificent creature just for shits and giggles.  I do like Becky Fenske, though, and think she should join the horde asap.

You can eat bear meat too, you know.  My doctor's family of four ate on it for a good long time.  Made a rug for the floor too.  How is that any different than eating any other animal?   Meat doesn't grow on plastic trays with Saran wrap, you know.

I hear you.  We eat them.  It is not just for shits and giggles - if I gave you the sense that I lack respect for them I am sorry.  The other thing you need to know is that they have no predators other than man - between cars and hunting.   They are very adaptable as far as habitat and their numbers are increasing - as is their range in WI.  When my wife and kids walk in the woods on our trails they are always armed or at least carry bear spray.

297 We eat them. It is not just for shits and giggles

No, no disrespect.  If you eat them, then, that's cool.  I am not a hunter.  I could not bear to kill anything but a homo sapiens (although that would come real easy).  And I do understand the threat that bears pose to those who live close by.  I always understood that bear meat was very gamey and not usually eaten.

He just looked like a very cool 700 pound dude, in the pic at your link.  Probably some little bears' dad . . .

Posted by: Peaches at April 14, 2013 04:42 PM (8lmkt)
