Good. Hope they kill each other, too.
House Republicans Crafting GOP Version Of Dream Act
Of course they are. Did anyone think they wouldn't?

Indiana School Loses 300k Because Kids Won't Eat Michelle's Meals
You mean kids won't eat bland crap that leaves them hungry? Who knew!
App Encourages Outing of Gun Owners' Addresses
How about an app that encourages outing the addresses of the slutty vaginas who want to be able to kill their babies up to and including the end of their pregnancy? Like they wouldn't love a litle backdoor action.
59 Percent Support 20 Week Abortion Ban
And the other 41% can go straight to hell.

Is that good or bad, considering postal employees?
Good. Now we can defend ourselves from postal workers as long as we don't go right into their lair.

Anyway, I told my wife last night that I would be watching a movie called Sharknado, and then explained the premise to her. Naturally she rolled her eyes in disbelief, but when the movie was ready to start, she sat down and watched the whole thing with me. I knew there was a reason I married her.
One disturbing thing though: the scene where Fin dumps gasoline in a pool and lights it to fry a big shark elicited a response. "That would never happen" in referring to the way the fire simply exploded, to which I had to ask, "really, that's the part that was to unrealistic for you?"

From the article:
The issue of race is clearly still entangling a society that likes to think of itself as post-racial.
I really like WRM's writing, but he punted on this one. I'm not entangled, and we need to stop using these palliative euphemisms to discuss the problem, which is a black American culture that substitutes victimology and aggression for achievement.

I wouldn't call teens who can drive their BMWs to Panera for lunch every day "middle class."
How much money has Indianapolis Public Schools lost on her orders? How many of the little city kids whose shit-head parent can't even be bothered to make them a PBJ on Saturdays are going hungry because their free lunch of 1/4 c. jicama with 1tsp lo-fat ranch dip is unpalatable and unfilling? That would be more interesting..."Look, poor city people, you want to believe they care about your but truly, look at how they don't give a shit about you."

They are women who have probably laid awake at night wondering if that strange noise was some punk breaking in.
They are women who have probably worried about that young fella crossing to their side of the street in the night.
They are women who have seen punks hanging out on the street corner, cursing with all their might.
To suggest that women only see the world through the prism of motherhood is absurd.

If you think this jury is going to vote to convict, you're not watching O'Mara's closing arguments.
The man is f***in' BRILLIANT.
And he isn't giving the prosecution much to "rebut".
That 4 1/2 minutes of absolute silence right before the break?
May have ensured a quick "Not Guilty" verdict.

So, Will a hung jury bring riots?
There will be riots regardless of the verdict. Like I always say, there are riots when a sports team loses, and there are riots when a sports team wins. The professional rioting class will take any opportunity to riot, cuz free shit.

So Big Sis announces her retirement, effective immediately, today, Friday.
Out of the blue.
And heads off to be president of the University of California system. As if my reasons to stay the fuck away from california weren't already legion.

I don't doubt the esteemed NBPP community organizers will "unexpectedly" have access to their records as well.
This country has just about made it to third world status.

What I want to know is when Jenteal get's her own reality show?
I can see it now. Episode one synopsis, Jenteal goes to a restaurant, hilarity ensues as menu is written in cursive.

Should be involved in political *pranks* solely. Things that monkey-wrench the Left. We can't agree on much, but we all have wicked senses of humor. It'd be like a comment-stream IRL

I lack an ACOG and am inexperienced with any of the modern reflex sights period. Wife's experience is limited to the ACOG and m-68 system. She went from shooting expert with iron to marksman/sharpshooter with ACOG/M68 of course part of that may also be the M-4 and attrition as well.
She and I both shot a lot more before Lad10077 graced us with his visit.
I'm pondering taking up 3 Gun as a hobby since the only component I lack is a competition quality pistol system which can be remedied fairly easily.
The See All Sight interests me from a practical exercise standpoint mostly in the AR/Remington 870 25-75 yard window with accurizing to center mass point of aim being the goal.
I'll need a lot of practice to transition my shooting muscle memory to keeping both eyes open.

They are very different. I took a break from the thread to read through the Yahoo! comments on the NC abortion clinic law. I do not understand how people can equate making an abortion clinic at least as clean and safe as any other ambulatory surgery center is hating womyn and their rights. I honestly think that some people thing there is little more involved with an abortion than there is in removing a tampon. They insert surgical instruments into a woman's body and they don't want the place to be clean, what?

Related to the Syrian rebels and our ongoing Middle East destruction / reclamation project. Also related to the likelihood of our Muslim Brotherhood 'allies' turning into small d democrats eventually.
Andrew Bostom quoting P.J. Vatikiotis in 1981:
----- ----- ----- ----- ------ ------- ------
Authoritarianism and autocracy in the Middle East may be unstable in the sense that autocracies follow one another in frequent succession. Yet the ethos of authoritarianism may be lasting, even permanent. . . . One could venture into a more ambitious philosophical etiology by pointing out the absence of a concept of ‘natural law’ or ‘law of reason’ in the intellectual-cultural heritage of Middle Eastern societies. After all, everything before Islam, before God revealed his message to Muhammad, constitutes jahiliyya, or the dark age of ignorance. Similarly, anything that deviates from the eternal truth or verities of Islamic teaching is equally degenerative, and therefore unacceptable. That is why, by definition, any Islamic movement which seeks to make Islam the basic principle of the polity does not aim at innovation but at the restoration of the ideal that has been abandoned or lost. The missing of an experience similar, or parallel, to the Renaissance, freeing the Muslim individual from external constraints of, say, religious authority in order to engage in a creative course measured and judged by rational and existential human standards, may also be a relevant consideration. The individual in the Middle East has yet to attain his independence from the wider collectivity, or to accept the proposition that he can create a political order.
------ ------ ------ ------ ------- ------ ----- -------
(emphasis in original, get barrel ready)
Now for the bad news: The Middle East is significantly less secular than it was in 1981.

Scarlett Johannson.
I like the scene where she's in a truck with her boyfriend and he gets too handsy. She puts a stun gun to his nads and zaps him. He falls out of the truck and complains that she made him pee himself. Awesome.

Yeah, if you're a top flight athlete. The four minute mile was an iron-clad barrier for years. It gets broken every now and then, but it's still darn impressive.

1. What's scary is that the app depends on the user to determine whether or not to list someone. How many people do you know who are competent to judge another person's "stability"?
2. To the person who wrote the app, anyone who disagrees with him is by definition "unstable."
