I wasn't but to page 16 or so and was shaking my head in disbelief over the shit we're spending BIG CASH on. Page 11 for example - Dept Ag can spend over $1B buying up more land. WTF? If you're strapped, the last thing you need to do is be blowing money on more land, which removes it from the local tax base by the way.
It goes on and on...
We're not even trying to trim a little around the edges. The Sequester is a complete fraud.

I think we all should recognize how hard this has been for some time,” he said drawing rousing applause from the chamber. “You may not feel it at the moment but this is one of the Senate’s finest days in recent years and I commend everyone who has participated in this historic debate,” said McConnell."

"Did you realize that over 90% of the guns in this country are owned by white people in the suburbs and in rural areas? Ninety-percent of our guns are not owned by African-Americans, hispanics, minority groups, they're owned by white people. Now are these white people so afraid of out in the suburbs? Are they thinking little red head, freckle-faced Jimmy down the street is going to, you know, kill them? Mug them? I don't think so. Are they afraid the guy next door is gonna break in and steal their t.v.? No, because they know the guy next door makes $50-60,000 a year. So poverty and racism the answer is pretty much the same answer for a lot of our other problems. Jobs..."

Biden himself acknowledged the flights during recent remarks to the National Association of Attorneys General, noting that the sequester would force him to temporarily alter his expensive habit and use the train instead.

I keep figuring that this would be a highly productive angle for candidates.
Run ads showing, e.g., the towering stack of paper that is Obamacare, and say,
"This is nonsense. It's no way to govern. It mocks the intelligence of the public. If elected I won't have anything to do with these huge paper piles. I pledge I will read and understand every bill for which I vote, and I pledge that I will vote NO on any bill which is incomprehensible or larger than fifty pages in length."
I never see any candidates proposing this. So I must assume that the consultantocracy are advising against it. No surprise there. Given how well the consultants' advice worked out last time round.

I do not trust Obama nor the Republicans on this. Both would get Americans killed to establish another Islamic state in the region. Both parties are in the pocket of Islamists.

The Republican Party installed a Sharia Regime in Iraq. They backed Obama's war in Libya to help Islamists against Qaddafi. Now the GOP is calling for war in Syria.

"PACIFIC COASTAL SALMON RECOVERY For necessary expenses associated with the restoration of Pacific salmon populations, $65,000,000."
Oh FFS.
This is the same shit that was in the supposed Hurricane Sandy relief bill. Porked out to the tail fins. As though Pacific salmon had anything to do with an ATLANTIC HURRICANE.
And you know that the GOP, in the form of Sen. Lisa Morecokeski, was all over getting this "recovery" money passed.

The Republican Party and Conservatives supported the ethnic cleaning of Iraqi Christians. Do you really think that they care about Syrian Christians? The GOP has played a con job with American Christians using issues like abortion and Gay marriage to whip them up for votes. But look at the actions of the Republican Party. It's foreign policy is pro-Muslim and anti-Christian.

The way they went about this bill they make it tough to tell. Because they took a bill that was already passed in the House and completely reworded it. If you go to the gov bill tracker it looks like it has already passed the House. You have to read deep into it to see that it now needs to resolve the differences.
This is a pure scam to get around the Constitution that says all revenue bills must originate in the House. And I know why the Republicans have not taken this to court. It is because they do it too.
