Things you probably shouldn't tweet
— Purple Avenger

Dickpics ain't the only thing one should refrain from. For example: openly soliciting random people to come and sell you drugs at work.

The rocket scientist who made the solicitation tweet has apparently been fired.

As a general rule of thumb, I'd recommend staying away from open uncoded Twitter solicitations for bribes, contract killers, arsonists, drug mules, and bomb makers.

1 Ah, Twitter: the cause of and solution to the internet's most embarrassing moments. If there is not yet a Darwin Award-type contest for the dumbest screwups on Twitter, there should be. Weiner'd have won by an inch last year.

3 " Reggie Love, the former body man to the president, ...." Direct quote from an article in The Hill about a press conference SCOAMF gave or wanted to give about his birf certificate... "the former body man to the president"? WTF does that mean? WTF could it mean? It means that if you knew where Mr. Love was during the Benghazi disaster, you'd know where SCOAMF was.

99 I was NOT at Woodstock. I have never understood the allure of bragging about spending a few days wallowing in mud with a significant portion of human urine and feces in its makeup. The music was uneven and if you weren't a druggie, you spent a most of time cold, miserable, exhausted, hungry, and thirsty. Had it gone on much longer, people would've been dropping like flies.

100 Yes, because only divine intervention can get us out of the mess we are in. Well unless God's judgment is behind this mess we are in. I know you're not a religious believer, chi-town However for people of faith it is good to ask for pardon for our sins as a country and for God's intervention . Heck, I think people should ask every Holy figure they know to intercede to God for the US: The Virgin Mary, Francois Fenelon, Fr., Emil Kapaun, St Keri Tenawitha (sp?) etc, etc.

101 Truth is weiner actually helped spitzer by taking the headlights off him. But that is just so wrong, because in reality spitzer broke a whole host of laws and by not going after him for those back when it happened, they layed the ground for this "comeback" . I hate democrats

Harsh?  Yes.  But look around.

114 #97  You are correct.  These people are being hit harder than a lot of morons realize.  I see it every week.  Our food pantry ran out of meat, produce,  and dairy last week,  and one of the women who came in said that all the southside pantries were in the same shape.

These people have been hit hard by unemployment,  reduced hours if they are employed,  higher medicaid paydowns, higher food and gas prices.

Now add to that the prospect of a long and cold winter (which is what Joe Bastardi is predicting), higher utility bills due to EPA's rulings,  and the confiscation of part of their meager tax return money for Obamacare fines.

Middle class people get angry and bitch on the internet and vote.

The people I am talking about will beat the crap out of OFA organizers.

121 Ditto on the Throne of Blood. Kurosawa was pretty damn good with Shakespeare. He was also a good source for Hollywood. He wrote a story called "Runaway Train" that was just a hell of a movie, although made here. And there's a juvenile reading of it called "Train Master" (made by a non-film producer as a tribute to his deceased little boy) that's got everything but Voight snarling "No. Worse: Human!"

“No beast so fierce but knows some touch of pity.
But
I know none, and therefore am no beast.”

127 I'm in an affluent area - the usually benefactors of our church's and boy scout food efforts have been Hispanic - the demographic has shifted significantly.  There are some angry lower middle class white folk out there.  Not sure how they break politically - they would be easily seduced by the properly wrapped FSA handout.

128 I heard some commercial by Surfriders that pissed me off. They were arguing about moving benchmarks. That it was not okay to say that 95% of the beaches were clean and it is good enough because in the future they may say that 80% of those beaches are clean and it is good enough, etc. So, it always had to be 100%. That's the attitude among the whackos. Our air is cleaner than ever but they still want industry to reduce pollution beyond what they are capable of doing without shutting down.

129 #115  Some are on food stamps,  some aren't.  Some just miss the food stamp guidelines.  We have Social Security people and disability people,  too.

Since I am a person who is willing to actually TALK to them,  they often tell me why they are there.  We do have a per cent who are probably grifters,  but really not that many.

Lost jobs, broken families, unemployment, can only get part time work, health issues (several who are barely ambulatory), etc.

138 I live in York Region (north or Toronto). I am so reassured to know that York Regional Police have the resources to monitor Twitter. Oddly, they don't have the resources to pick up the drug dealers that operate every weekend in the local high school parking lot. I guess they must get a pretty good cut from that.
