Thirds?
— Dave in Texas

Holy moly I did not realize there was another one tonight, NFL Thursday game I suppose.

Ok. Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

I hope everyone had a great day, and by great day I mean pie.

Pie is life.

17 We've got pecan and punkin' pie.  My mother and daughter made homemade crust this year.  I'm happy the little one wants to learn.

Posted by: no good deed at November 28, 2013 05:58 PM (HsJeN)

18 Vendette, my late father used to make apple pies early in the morning before my younger brother and I were up. The smell of fresh apple pie would wake us up & weÂ’d have some for breakfast. I like pies plain, no whipped cream or ice cream. ItÂ’s hard to believe heÂ’s been gone for 25 years this year.

20 I baked shell less pumpkin pies to go with the meal and we had it with Cool Whip.   Other pies need crust but pumpkin does better w/o in my experience.

The NFL is now behind Bullying prevention?  WTF?  By highlighting Bullying you will get more of it.  Here is how we dealt with bullying when I grew up.  You smacked him in the face.  Even if you were smaller you have to take a stand.  This shit is insidious.

62 By highlighting Bullying you will get more of it.

And certain kinds of bullying are fully sanctioned.  Costas gets to bully the Redskins; Phillip Rivers gets to be bullied for having so many children with just one woman; former players who decline to meet the SCOAMF totally get bullied.

70 Started the day with shootin' at my BiL's private range (dry pond basin in the middle of his grape fields) along with a bunch of the family. Drove straight back to the house to stuff our pie holes with bird, mashed taters, Brussels sprouts and sweet potato casserole. One of the better Thanksgivings in awhile. Third year I've made this recipe for the sprouts. Always a big hit. http://m. cookingchanneltv.com/recipes/caramelized-brussels-sprouts-with-sherry-dijon-vinaigrette.html Take out the space after m.

Have half a pan of each in the fridge with the leftovers. Wife's cranberry sauce and stuffing are always killer and accidentally on purpose bought more rolls than we need. Screw the blood sugar, it is Thanksgiving!
