Happy Tuesday.

It was a three- or four-scandal night for the Obama Administration. Starting with the worst, NYPost has a columnist who found a guy who says that the Census Bureau "faked" the jobs report in September 2012 to benefit Obama's reelection campaign.

Just as Sen. Gillibrand told "This Week" that "we all knew" that Obama's keep-your-plan talk was a lie, the DOJ apparently also knew that a majority of group health plans would no longer be grandfathered by the end of 2013.

A risk assessment completed for HHS in the spring predicted many of the Obamacare website problems, including the call center bottle-neck and the nonfunctional website.

Obama hosted a conference call with OFA last night, but their website failed for many users, reporting "connection failure" and not playing Obama's audio even for those who managed to connect. Awwwwkwaaaaard.

This column by a "seething" Obama supporter who has just realized what a cock-up Obamacare has become discusses the problems with trying to sign up for the exchanges.

9 Obama has been secretly negotiating with Iran and it is much worse than we thought. He is basically doing a Boner deal and allowing Iran to proceed with development of their nuclear weapons for a sack of beans and promises. He is now asking congress to hold off on any more sanctions.

Don't we already have sanctions and can Obama arbitrarily lift them on his own (legally)? It all goes back to what we have been saying since early in his first term. He can do anything he wants as long as Congress lets him.

So I'm wondering if we're looking at this the wrong way. Compare this to Watergate. If Nixon's administration had this many problems, he wouldn't have been allowed to get on that helicopter. He would have been hauled off in chains.

Not just the media, people are different too. We expect instant gratification. So if the LiVs are hearing about all this stuff (and some of it is getting through), why aren't they calling for the President's head?

Maybe because the convoluted logic goes something like this: if he's so bad, why hasn't he been "gotten" yet? If all these crimes have been committed, surely he would have been arrested by now, so the mere fact that the wheels of justice, such as they are, turn so slowly gives these people reason to think there must not be any there there.

I don't know... just a thought for a cold November morning.

I'm not really talking about the truly ignorant, Vic. Certainly there are ranges for this sort of thing. From the completely unable to contemplate a reasonable thought, to those who suspect something is wrong in Washington, but they don't trust anyone enough to know what it is.

I know tons of younger people who, naturally enough for them, are Democrats. They're not happy right now, but I don't think they are willfully ignorant. They just don't know how to make sense of it all, and again, the fact that the rest of the world seems to be rolling around, that Obama is still in the White House, his people are still acting like they're in control... there isn't a sense that the high crimes and misdemeanors of this administration are real. If they were indeed, real, Obama wouldn't or couldn't be acting like all is well.
