I'm always surprised when Penny Arcade's comic & blog post manage to dovetail with what we're talking about, but I suppose I shouldn't be, since they're often reacting to the same news that we are. If you're new to PA, the comic is satire, the blog post is where the goods are at.

Morning, ‘rons and ‘ronettes. Only a short piece today.
Yesterday I mentioned, in passing, the photographer Alfred Cheney Johnston. He was a photographer known for his portraits of actors (but mostly actresses) of the 20s and 30s. But his initial fame came from a 1917 meeting with impresario Florenz Ziegfeld. Under contract to “Ziggy,” Johnston became the unofficial house photographer of the Follies, producing shots of single showgirls or groups of them clothed in the extravagant fashions of the day.
But after his death in 1971, a cache of nude and semi-nude photographs – many of the same Follies girls he’d photographed in costume – were found among his effects. Because of their partial and full-frontal nudity, of course, they could never have been publicly published during Johnston’s lifetime. Here are two (NSFW, of course):
This is of showgirl Dorothy Flood: http://tinyurl.com/d3xu33b
This is an anonymous nude from sometime in the 1920s: http://tinyurl.com/kvh8ett
Johnston also shot what we would call “boudoir photographs,” sometimes of actresses, sometimes of society ladies. I can’t link it but, for example, actress Norma Shearer made several nude and semi-nude photos of herself as a wedding gift for her husband, MGM chief of production Irving Thalberg.
If youÂ’re interested in seeing more of JohnstonÂ’s work, you must get the book Jazz Age Beauties: The Lost Collection of Ziegfeld Photographer Alfred Cheney Johnston, by Robert Hudovernik.
IÂ’ve got a meeting to go to, so IÂ’ll see you all later. Hope you have a wonderful day.

The female form tends to be fairly simple. Or it used to be. Large breasted women are often overweight. Thinner women tend to be smaller breasted.
Generally speaking, when you have a combination other than that, it's due to science and surgery, not the natural gifts from God.
There are exceptions, of course, but not many.
Christina Hendricks is NOT an exception. She's both scientifically enhanced, and... fat.

The people that waited on me at this Mcd's were not the brightest bulbs in the pack. God love em (I mean it) they were working and doing what they needed to do, but they had a lot of people working there that, if a big minimum wage increase goes through, will probably be out of a job.

Another thing is, science in the fiction is becoming rarer because the writers and readers seem incurious about actually learning science. Rarely are we seeing such as Heart of the Comet by Brin anymore.
People jumped all over Barbie saying 'Math is hard' but we are seeing that in the readership. Hence YA and NA novels are selling while SF is just there. Even would the Posleen series from Baen be considered 'science' science fiction, take away the the technology and it could be stories of the Napoleonic Wars. Now that I think on it, the last science fiction novel that was 'science' that I enjoyed was probably Glen Cook's Dragon Never Sleeps.

Senate Budget Chairwoman Patty Murray, D-Wash., and House Budget Chairman Paul D. Ryan, R-Wis., are expected to announce a framework in the coming days that would set a top-line number for appropriators higher than the current sequester levels but lower than what Democrats have previously demanded.
According to sources, the increased spending would be offset by less controversial pay-fors, including spectrum sales and some mandatory health care cuts. The two lawmakers have been meeting regularly, including a session Wednesday. Murray attended despite the SenateÂ’s recess.
But many top leadership aides in the Capitol are skeptical that any agreement between Murray and Ryan can pass the House, and those aides feel largely in the dark about what might happen after the deal is struck, with or without successful votes on it in both chambers. Republican leaders have vowed they will not shut down the government again, but how Congress will keep it open remains up in the air.

If Ellsbury can stay healthy he will be a great addition to the team. He can handle the press (Boston is almost as tough as NYC), and his speed will be a nice bonus. Defensively I don't see it as much of an upgrade, but his bat will be nice. That short porch should give him 20 HRs.
And he is aggressive, which is great! The Yankees need fire, and with McCann and Ellsbury they have it.

But anecdotally, all my RPG groups have been varying degrees of rightward in thought.

Sure, and I will even write somewhat lucidly.
The left is made up of two cornerstones, collectivism and some hair shirt for western civilization through multi-culti self-flagellation.
They are not really atheist they are anti Christian, they worship Gaia or Marx in varying degrees and have displaced religious magic thinking thought for imponderables with a blind deference to magic thinking on economics and human nature.
Radical Islam will kill you if you offend it too hard, AND tends to have the same rogues gallery rolodex as the left so they absorb the misogyny that pisses off part of their coalition's surface pecadillo because even a majority of that portion accept it is for the greater good of the hidden agenda.
Leftbattery is a planet ran by people with the judgement and moral fiber of five year olds.
