If this turns out to have been domestic terrorism -- another Timothy McVeigh   or Weather Underground type situation -- then it doesn't matter WHO   carried it out; the MFM will blame "right wing extremists."    It could have been committed by the Communist    fucking Party of America and the media will still call them right wing extremists.  

 

If, on the other hand, it turns out to be some kind of Islamic terrorism -- even if it's a homegrown Islamist -- this story will be relegated to a left page    deep into the A-section of the dailies     in every corner of the country EXCEPT Boston     by Thursday.

Clinton reversing herself.  Sen. I grew up in Boston - have lived in NH, OH, PA, NC, GA, RI. and now MS. Have always had great experiences everywhere I have been. Sure there have been times of provincialism or good-natured ribbing, but by and large I have found good people in all spots. There are however, as my Dad used to say, "assholes in everything."

For us to be so sharply divided about everything along political/geographical lines that we cannot have empathy for the death of an 8 year old boy simply because his family resides in a "blue state" is really a sad state of affairs.
