1 Good Morning Morons.  Today is Wednesday, April 17, 2013.  On this day in 1964 the Ford Mustang was introduced to the American public for the first time.  It was one of the most successful rollouts in history and started a whole new trend.

78 - "Looks like the Rubio Don't Call It Amnesty bill was filed. That should generate plenty of conversation today." Not necessarily. Keep in mind the demographics of the Internet's chattering classes. To a large extent they're sheeple. So if the immigration reform bill is not a major topic on cable TV or on talk radio then it won't be a major topic on the Internets. Then there are the arrested development and OCD crowds, who only talk about their pet issues and their pet peeves, regardless what's happening out in the real world. In any event, one issue is not how much talk the immigration bill will generate. It's how much of that talk will be informed, sentient and rational. Obviously not too much. On the Internet the audience skews irrational and most would not know the differences between H1-B visas and H1N1 viruses. Again, demographics. From the standpoints of business, economics, finance and law, the issue is whether to retain the broken status quo -- a veritable disaster since the 1980's -- or whether to try to do something about it. From legislative and political viewpoints the issue is whether anything realistically can be done. Not likely. The deranged left wants completely open borders and citizenship for all illegal immigrants. The extreme, xenophobic right won't accept any form of amnesty, no matter how much the economy and the fiscal tax bases need it. Politics by the tail ends of the political bell curve usually goes nowhere.

210 Can you imagine the caligulaesque activities of Kim Jung Un? Speaking of little Kimmy, there's some DPRK propagandist making the rounds on various discussion boards, with some top quality bizarre shit. A sample: For years and years the vile American Empire and its "South Korean" puppets have been lying to the world about the true nature of the DPR Korea. The scheming pigs spoonfeed the mentally asleep with their dishonest propaganda, telling them that "North Korea is starving, North Korea hates freedom, North Koreans have no rights" All of these are blatant lies, deliberately fabricated by the media dogs in order to deny the people the truth of the glory of the Juche Idea. DPR Korea has no hunger problems. The lie that people there are "starving" is simply a hoax fabricated by the capitalists and the class-traitors in order to deceive the people and keep the workers away from reaching class consciousness and embracing the glorious Juche Idea. All loyal citizens of DPR Korea have quality of food that is unequaled in the Western slave society.

243 Don't call it a Amnesty They bin here for years Mowin your lawns puttin whitey in tears ____________________________ Yeah, the old "they've been here for years" rationalization turns out to be a little off base. The new amnesty bill gives amnesty to all illegals who can show they were here before 12/31/2011 -- or all of 16 months. 'Cuz it would be a terrible hardship to expect an illegal alien who has lived in the U.S. for all of 16 months to return to his own country. After 16 months, you've put down deep roots here, become a valuable member of your community, lost all connection to your home land, and clearly think of yourself as an "American." After a year and a half. What a joke this POS amnesty bill is. Oh, it's also expanding chain migration rights too. So the unlimited millions of illegal aliens getting amnesty are going to have the right to bring in even more unlimited numbers of family members from their home countries. What could possibly go wrong with a bill as fair and well-thought-out as this one?

=========

That is largely because the process of determining who the "right body" might be is constantly subjected to the scrutiny of General Counsel.  This has gotten progressively worse in recent years.

Doing the "legally expedient" thing rather than the "right thing" often leads to incorrect results- which is not really surprising...

296 I read the UK Daily Mail. It may be the British version of our National Enquirer, but it provides some entertainment at times.(Keeping in mind the National Enquirer had the story right on John Edwards).

Anyway, last night (and today) it shows photos of bomb with a whitish looking young guy running off in torn clothes. It also shows, in same photo, a guy with orange hoodie running in opposite direction. Plus, another photo of a bald man (who could be sort of ethnic in a Telly Savalas sort of way..."May Allah bless those who shaved" during the Hajj (pilgrimage); and the Quran states that "ye shall enter the Sacred Mosque, if Allah wills, with minds secure, heads shaved, hair cut short, and without fear.") in torn shirt and trousers staggering down the street. When I first saw it, I thought, "bless his heart" but at the same time thought, huh, different. Hang with me, I will get to a point...

Of all these they highlight the white guy running from the scene.

Now, none of us know exactly how we would react in similar horrific circumstances, in shock, and with ear drums torn and deaf, possibly concussed from fall, disoriented, in pain, etc. Adrenaline, the flight or fight hormone. If you were able to run, you may have run. Understandable. I may have run if I didnot have family there...but I think, as a RN, I would have stayed. I hope I am never tested like this, but in similar pubic situations I have been known to announce that "I am a RN" which usually means, to family, uh, oh, here she goes!

The highlighted photo of the "white boy in ragged clothes" is odd due to orientation of the shots The people below highlight have changed in their posture and what they are doing. In the Right frame, however, those women are in the exact same position (not sure how much time has passed, either as there is no time stamp, but it is an odd photo comparison, as you do not see the photo before the highlight). Perhaps someone with photo shopping skillz can give a better analysis. Rant almost over.

The heroic souls who, in spite of their own injuries, or like he National Guardsmen who had just run 26 miles with packs, ran into the danger as trained, well, that is who I would hope I would be. Those with medical or battle training do what they are trained to do---run into the danger and help others. So, I am not judging anyone who ran away.

My question is this: why highlight the one boy in ragged clothing running from scene? Yet the Tally Savalss man is "staggering." And, while the orange hoodie is shown clutching ears and running, you still do not see photo without the highlight and big halo around him.

Ok, two questions...What happened to the BOLO black man with black hoodie? Was that resolved? I know the Saudi dude with burned hands (while everyone else has ripped off legs) has been "resolved."

With facial recognition, etc, terrorist watch lists, etc, etc, I find in very difficult to believe that the FBI and other agencies do not have a handle on who did this at this point. I am betting on either Al Qaeda, the Taliban, or Occupy. Yet the focus keeps being on "Patriot Day." The news has even managed to throw McVeigh into the mix...that the April 19th special day was near Patriot Day (which I had never heard of until Monday). BS. McVeigh, from memory, chose April 19th because due to Waco. Also! He was stopped, after the bombing, within 90 minutes. So, things that make you go hmmmm.

Not ALL of the younger generation are ignorant of chemistry.  Plus,  if you found the directions on those bombs on Inspire,  pretty much anyone could put one together.  No knowledge of chemistry required.

These bombs are used in Afghanistan,  not a country noted for high-level science education.  They were developed so that any imbecile could cause casualties.

However,  it is best not to focus on nationality,  because there are also American converts to the religion of Peace, such as Richard Reed was an English convert.

311 @300...The Occupy anarchists also do not like America. It almost makes more sense for them to react on Tax Day. If they were from New England they also knew it was Patriot's Day. However, I think the main reason for the bombing was "The Boston Marathon" instead of the news connecting their desperate dots to Timothy McVeigh. It was also a special day in both Israel and N. Korea, but you see the news reporting on tax day or Patriot's Day in their chatter.

Instead, the leftists, are acting like it is the Tea Party. You know, those wicked, evil people who leave the Mall in DC cleaner than before and are known for their bomb-making ability. I have yet to read of violence at Tea Party meetings.

313 Fascinating Michael Savage interview with Walid Shoebat. Shoebat is good. Glad he switched sides. Interesting dilemma for law enforcement in this age of near instantaneous communication ability. You have legions of citizens who have access to videos, photographs, etc. looking them over and putting the pieces together. (4Chan and Reddit and others are all over it) You have some Saudi nationals walking the streets, in fact their address has (iirc) already been printed. If in fact, LE has strong suspicions (perhaps backed up by evidence extracted from search) then it could be a race to the finish line. With one other little variable thrown into the mix. Someone with a daughter, son, wife, or relative who is now crippled for life might just do something on their own if it looks like LE is dragging its feet or international politics is in play.

I notice what appears to be a tattoo on the left upper arm of the tattered clothes guy. The reactions in the side-by-side photos with the guy in orange in them could be a result of those folks hearing the second blast perhaps? In the lower photo with the guy in orange strolling away, you will notice 2 people with backpacks, just to his right. Guess backpacks were okay to take to the race. That'll be the last of that without a search I would guess.

Whoever did this knew security at this race. Perhaps knew it was tighter at the beginning?

I still think they know who did this, but it does not fit their dialogue, and they are spinning and delaying and (Slate) hoping they can pin it on someone else. I will give them one tiny break: maybe they are wanting to catch them all, and Jack Bauer is still working the case and rounding them up.

Hate to be so cynical, but that is what they get for Benghazi. I woke up that weekend of 9/15/12  in N. Korea and will never trust the media again (not that I always did 100%, especially since 200 . I had been reading the British press since 9/12/12 and knew the truth...and the truth was not what came out of Susan Rice's mouth that weekend, and the MSM fell in line. The tight-fisted control this administration has on the media lock-down is how Barry holds onto his iReggie.

318 Welcome to Israel folks. That's the first thing my wife said to me about the bombings, "Guess we're Israel now." I agreed.

319 "As most of you know, SCOAMF declined to send a representative. Not a surprise, and probably just as well as we don't have to be pissed off or embarrassed by yet another faux pax committed by the Narcissist In Chief."

Barry doesn't do magnanimity.

You're right, of course, about the defensibility. That is true for almost any venue with so many avenues of access. But, an armed camp is probably exactly what we need. Not what we will get, what we need. What we'll get is a truck load of hand wringing and talking heads pontificating about causes and effects. We won't be allowed to profile, but we will be expected to  obey new laws designed by idiots to keep us safe from crazy people. Crazy.

322 Not only was it the Boston Marathon, but it is one of the SIX World Marathon Majors, FWIW.

Tokyo Marathon—Tokyo, Japan in late February
    Boston Marathon—Boston, USA in mid-April
London Marathon—London, UK in late April
Berlin Marathon—Berlin, Germany in late September
Chicago Marathon—Chicago, USA in early October
New York City Marathon—New York City, USA in early November

If it is a gang tatoo they know who he is with. I like to hope they know who did this but are not saying yet in order to catch all of the snakes in the pit.

You could be right about the guy in orange...but he is running towards the second bomb.

Also...we have only seen photos of the first bomb victims, I think? Have no idea, but that is how it seems...as I see the same photos over and over. Were the main injuries after the first bomb, as many heard it and scrambled away before the second detonated 14 seconds later? I hope so. The one girl must have been killed instantly.

That poor blonde woman, sitting in shock, could not run (a triathlete) because her left leg was broken in two places, and her right leg had a broken ankle and torn Achilles tendon. Her sister had to have her leg amputated after a compound fracture. They were both there to cheer on their mother running in the marathon.

Again...has anyone heard if the BOLO was called off from Monday night? You know, the Black guy with foreign accent and black sweatshirt/hood.

It is still odd that the Saudi in hospital, with burns on hand, was "released" from suspicion when every other person injured had injuries to lower extremities (well, except the two year old boy with head injuries). And I did see a few photos of hair burned, eyes swollen shut from shrapnel or glass (I guess). But no other mention of "burns on hands" or "3rd degree burns and in critical condition due to burns." The main injuries were trauma requiring amputation or control of bleeding. Did the doctors, in briefings, discuss others with burns that were critical?

324 And, on schedule, the Lone Wolf theory appears, as, with all the kings horses and all the kings men, they cannot figure this one out:

325 Yeah, isn't that typical. CNN and it's first paragraph or two "right-wing extremists" ramble-on without a smidge of real evidence. Bozo's by the boatload over there. They know that their readers won't drill down into the story and read all of the real terrorists names in the meat of the article.

Only as long as we have Obama as president.

Saudi Arabia needs to be given a choice between executing every last AQ supporter, or being nuked out of existence.

327 Remember, back in the good old days, when we were supposed to report suspicion and stuff, no matter what the race? Well, it really hasn't changed, as this is from 2004...but the Saudi's do not have clean hands, as 15 of the 19 are from Saudi-Arabia. But shhhh! CAIR may be watching.
