Nat Rev online, again via Drudge, reports that another Hillary! movie is in the works:

NBC isn’t the only entertainment entity making a Hillary film in the run-up to the next presidential election. Director James Ponsoldt plans to release Rodham in 2016. It will focus on her early years with Bill Clinton and her tenure as a 27-year-old junior counsel on the House Judiciary Committee when President Nixon was impeached. Actresses Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, and Amanda Seyfried are all front-runners for the role. “You don’t find people who question the quality of her intelligence or her drive,” Ponsoldt says. “I want a wonderful actress who could embody that.” Somehow I don’t think the script will require an actress to embody other, perhaps less appealing, aspects of Hillary Clinton’s modus operandi.

In March 2008, as Hillary Clinton was running for president, Jerry Zeifman — the chief counsel to the House Judiciary Committee at the time of Nixon’s impeachment and a lifelong Democrat — expressed his profound disappointment with her work on the committee. Among her transgressions were lying, removing files from the committee offices without permission, and arguing that Nixon shouldn’t be allowed any legal counsel before the committee. “I terminated her employment on the Nixon impeachment staff,” he told me. “My only regret was I had not reported her unethical practices to the appropriate bar associations. I could not recommend her for any subsequent position of public or private trust.”

Morning, Horde.

You know, IÂ’ve really got to stop looking at the posts IÂ’ve missed while offline; the Obama “usurping my authority” thread has me so mad I am literally shaking with rage as I type this.  So, in order not to say anything that Ace will ban my ass for, hereÂ’s a quick story about the director John Farrow (MiaÂ’s father):

You can understand MiaÂ’s quirky nature by knowing that her father had a reputation as an arrogant, sadistic man, and on more than one occasion his sharp tongue sent an actress running to her dressing room in tears.  During the 1940s, Farrow worked mostly on the Paramount lot.  In the courtyard between the administrative building, the producersÂ’ building and the production offices was a pond stocked with goldfish.  Repeatedly, Farrow would be seen standing beside the pond, a silver-tipped cane in his hand, hitting goldfish over the head.  It seemed to be his favorite pastime.

85 Of course the city should pay. Who else would? I mean these legal bills aren't going to pay themselves! Sheesh, I love how Republicans assume government can just "niot pay its bills". I used to see the same bullshit in Congress. "Stop the spending!" they'd say! Well, I ask you, should America not defend itself? Should soldiers wives and families be left to starve in the streets! Should judges work as volunteers, or local police and emergency responders not be paid? 89 French auto sales slump while German auto sales soar. "Suddenly" the French ban the sale of top end Mercedes. Hm, A/C, highly potent v. dangerously flammable. Financial Times: "The Mercedes issue revolves around an air-conditioning coolant called R134a which the EU outlawed from January for new model approvals because it is a highly potent global warming gas. But KBA, the German automobile authority, allowed Daimler to continue to use R134a – as all pre-existing models are allowed to do until 2017. Daimler argues that the replacement coolant is dangerously flammable."

I think my cred on hating Ogabe is pretty solid, I don't know what to really think about Boner's seeming acquiesence to Choom King's "regal nature"...

Look the American people basically had the chance to have the law makers be "under law"...

they decided the "war on tampons" and "rape shields" and "war on wommynz" was a big enough deal to keep Searchlight Stalker in Power in the Senate and Ogabe Lord of the highest span of spiked UE in history on the throne...

Boner can scream every day and at most get the newsies to stop sucking Ogabe's dick and discuss "John Boner's Extremism"...

So when the Bible says something like this: “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23)What that means is: you can believe it! 117 A few things:

A.) The President has apparently decided that Congress cannot do the job of steering the course of the Republic, and that he must do so. That the representatives of the people, and thus the people themselves, are incapable of self-government and must accept a protectorate status under his tutelage.

To which I can only say that if I had mingled in the communities he did in Chicago, and if I was as intimately familiar with the constituencies of the Democratic Party as he is, then I would perhaps also conclude the people are incapable of self-governance, and must merely be handed money.

B.) Different note--I see Mayor Kasim Reed of Atlanta has appeared in Washington to start a new effort to "sniff out" voter discrimination at the polls. Photo with Al Sharpton, the whole shebang.

Now, when it comes to Reed, the only deliberate governmental discrimination I am aware of is when his city administration refused to permit Tea Party type folks to protest in a downtown Atlanta park and then opened up the place wide for the Occupy Crowd--till that crowd did what anybody of sense should have known, which is acted so irresponsibly so as to demand removal.

I know Mr. Reed looks forward to one day being Senator and Governor of his state, and he may well get it. But frankly, I cannot see how he is not going to make that state into one continuing moral pogrom and Reign of Terror against white folk, looking for agent provacateurs under every couch cushion. I'm sure he will have the support of things like the local paper, which has a fine Jaques-Louis David as an editorial cartoonist (ready to take on the revolutionary enemies at every step), but I honestly see Atlanta becoming a very unfriendly place in the future on its present trajectory, as it loses its distinctiveness and starts on the path to Detroit.

I think Mr. Reed would be best served leaving Atlanta and going to Washington in a non-legislative capacity.

I would have thought that would have ben apparent from posts I have made here. You don't believ it?e-fine with me. I'm have NO interest in debating whether God exists with people who don't. I try to sometimes pus up posts that reflect a more positive POV from a Christian perspective figuring someone might find it helpful. Gaia demands human sacrifices.  Propane also makes a very effective drop in automotive A/C replacement for R-134a.  Sleazy shops in Miami were using it for years.  Customers drove away happy with icy cold A/C.

Sure, people were killed and burned beyond recognition when their systems leaked and their shit blew up, but that's a small price to pay.

184 FenelonSpoke and Chi-Town Jerry 147. As for "Hope", for me, it's trust in God's Love, Light, Truth, and the ultimate victory over all ills after/beyond mortality. But as for evil in life and evil governing this world, imo, though God exists through free will, it would be too simplistic and foolish to say "God made evil." The Gnostics have a better analogy on Creation than fundamentalist-conformist others who, by choice, wear blinders, because they prefer the comfort of confinement to the wilderness of knowledge between good and evil. According to the Old Testament Hebrew prophets, the Hebrews were the Chosen, and of course they interpreted themselves to be the "only" chosen. Not their illegitimate relatives via Sarah's handmaid, the Egyptian Hagar. As things went, Abram gave rich gifts to all his wives/descendents and sent them away, East, before his death at which point he left everything to Isaac. /Trivial pursuit: Abram owned an Egyptian slave. And more than one wife (Ketura)./ Genesis 17:20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard you: I will surely bless him; I will make him fruitful and will greatly increase his numbers. He will be the father of twelve rulers, and I will make him into a great nation. Genesis 25 This is the account of the family line of AbrahamÂ’s son Ishmael, whom SarahÂ’s slave, Hagar the Egyptian, bore to Abraham. 13These are the names of the sons of Ishmael, listed in the order of their birth: Nebaioth the firstborn of Ishmael, Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam, 14Mishma, Dumah, Massa, 15Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish and Kedemah. 16These were the sons of Ishmael, and these are the names of the twelve tribal rulers according to their settlements and camps. 17Ishmael lived a hundred and thirty-seven years. He breathed his last and died, and he was gathered to his people. 18His descendants settled in the area from Havilah to Shur, near the eastern border of Egypt, as you go toward Ashur. And they lived in hostility toward all the tribes related to them.

It's really difficult to pinpoint when the rot really set in.

My theory, for what it's worth (which is exactly nothing) is that the major players on the Bad Side of the Kennedy assassination were all batshit crazy, and that didn't match the narrative of either the Warren Commission or nuts like Mark Lane.

236 I'm pretty damn good and you need to STFU until you can articulate two concepts effectively. Are you speaking of me or Sydney? I am a abysmal typist (I type too fast and I don't proofread) but I didn't have two concepts. i said i felt rather sorry for her She's clearly a thoroughgoing leftist and I don't approve of her actions ( I absolutely HATE what the left did to Sarah Palin. It was one of the things that made me an ex Democrat voter) It's quite possible to strongly disapprove of her actions and still feel that she might not have made the personal choice of sexting with Weiner and looking for sugar daddies if she had had a more stable family life. And FTR, I am against no fault divorce.

When Dick Armey attempted to co-opt the Tea Party, it set off so many red flags that it gave me a fucking migraine.  Likewise Bachmann, who always has seemed too eager to shove her way to the front of the line despite nobody really wanting her to do so.

No no no; it was Sydney I was bitching about.  Sorry I didn't make that clear enough.

240 187. If the muzzies are trying to say their god is the same as my God, /by muzzies, referencing the jihadi-fundamentalists, they're not. And if you point out that Allah/God are merely linguistic differentiations, that won't make any better communication than pointing out that their prophet Muhammad recognized Jesus to be a great prophet. Their original disclaimer of Christianity was based on their view held in common with the Hebrew Priests in Jerusalem, that it was blasphemy to "make" Jesus God. 181. let the gods work out who is who amongst themselves. Yep. So long as we keep our god given rights.

241 238. Yes. But having seen it, we weren't fooled by anything they did, which is always all about their own political ambitions. And in those cases, when the "messenger" usurps the urtext and propagandizes revisionism, tar and feather the assholes. It isn't as if the Tea Party D.C. Protest lacked merit. Everyone who showed up, and all those who supported the protest via communiques, were very real as the 2010 electoral results PROVED. So there's no reason to brand the "Tea Party" protest v. corruption as ineffective, or dead. Just realize that those who seek power, and embrace politics for its own sake of accumulating power, are always the ones tearing down the Constitution and the US citizenry. "Because I Could" Doesn't make the protest v. corruption message lame. Rather, all the more poignant.

243 238. and as Rand Paul clarified, there are all sorts of politicians claiming to be "conservative". So stipulate what it is you're conserving. Constitutional Conservative

245 234 my original point, someone set the lamebrain up to do this. Too plain obvious. Hardly the distraction they hoped to foment. What to beware? Fabricated footage "suddenly" released, placing some patsy anti-neocon protester in the security recording. Luke 17 1He said to His disciples, "It is inevitable that stumbling blocks come, but woe to him through whom they come! 2"It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he would cause one of these little ones to stumble. 3"Be on your guard!

246 I'm no theologian, but I think that there is an ample amount of evidence to show that allah is NOT the same entity as the God of Abraham. Posted by: Nighthawk __________ Oh, well, I am a theologian, or at least I play one on the interwebz. Get two believers together, you'll have at least three ideas about God. (Joke borrowed freely from Judaism.) That there is one God over all doesn't mean anyone has a monopoly or an exclusive. There certainly aren't dueling gods, Jehovah vs Allah, like Zeus vs Odin in some Jack Kirby comic. You could safely say that what Muhammad taught about God and what Judeo-Christianity taught about God don't have much overlap except monotheism.

248 113 Terminally ill co-creator of "The Simpsons" gives fortune away to charitable causes: http://tinyurl.com/m6lpwas Posted by: FenelonSpoke at July 30, 2013 07:48 AM (iQit/) "[Sam] Simon: I want medical experiments on animals stopped. They don't do anything, and they don't work. Veganism is an answer for almost every problem facing the world in terms of hunger and climate change. It helps people's health. Meat is the biggest greenhouse gas producer. There's also the cruelty and suffering aspect. When people do meatless Mondays, and when people adopt instead of buying a dog, that's a PETA victory." Geez. File this under "Why are smart people stupid?"

249 As for the Green Paint Vandal Woman, that would be the most incredible coincidence in the world if three different vandals started tossing green paint around the same week, huh?
