I still can't get over the passerby's reaction to the whole thing. I know that has been discussed ad nauseum here and people were probably terrified etc., but I still can't help but feel that if this was in certain parts of the US, those terrorists wouldn't have been up walking around talking to cameras, but instead down on the ground with a bunch of people piled on top of them.

The two guys are Nigerian-British, Yoruba to be specific (a southern ethnic group). I'm part Yoruba FWIW. Their names: Michael Adebolajo and Michael Oluwatobi Adebowale. As the reports state, they are Muslim converts. No Muslims name their kids Michael. The sad thing is that Yoruba Muslims in Nigeria are the definition of the often elusive moderate muslims. They often marry Christians and then allow their kids to choose which religion they want to follow. I have a few Yoruba friends with one Christian parent and one Muslim parent. When Yoruba Muslims convert to Christianity, there is no risk to their lives. My late and very dearly beloved dad once pointed out the contrast between southern Muslims (almost all Yoruba) and the ones in the North. There can be Yoruba Muslims and Christians living in the same family in peace. You can't say the same thing in the North North, which is completely pervaded by Islam. The pantybomber was from the North, so while it was shocking that a Nigerian would actually be willing to give up his life while committing evil mischief, he was from the North, after all. My point is that you now have these 2 guys of Yoruba heritage beheading people in plain view on the streets of London and commanding people to videotape it. (Which speaks to the sad state England is in, but that's another issue.) This was heretofore unimaginable, even for Yoruba people who grew up Muslim, much less for converts. Radical Islam is a scourge and political leaders who are hiding their hides in the sand being in denial are going to get a lot of people killed.

I've found when I double tap with the 45, under stress... I pull the trigger too hard and the shot goes high anyway.... and if I AM low... then the second shot of the double tap is on target due to muzzle rise...

The metro cops and the special armed response units have the guns. Of them, I've heard some pretty interesting things.

Anyone remember where the police trailed a suspected terrorist into a subway station, then got made, and one of the officers fired only one shot, hitting the suspect square in the head? That's skill.

It also turned out the suspect was not a terrorist, but a Brazilian who noticed the undercover police following him, got scared, and ran into the subway thinking he was about to be mugged. It was a horrible case of mistaken identity.

Islam is having a war in several countries that the other side isn't showing up to, countries like France and England and Sweden and the U.S. Instead of acknowledging the overarching theme of the riots and the car burnings and the murders and assaults of gays and the attempts at terrorism in a wide variety of venues, as well as the seemingly "random" workplace violence etc. the articles consistently label these sorts of things with euphemisms that completely wash out all context.

Worse some of the very same people who are the targets of the attacks are vehemently defending "moderate" Islam and urging people not to rush to judgment.

The elite political and chattering classes of the UK certainly do seem to be getting frightened about the reaction of ordinary British citizens. The understandable reaction to what the elite political and chattering classes have done to that country with mass immigration by nonassimilating religious fanatics.

So the political and media bosses are trying to "kettle" the growing intensity of ordinary British public anger by such devices as silencing comments. I do not think this will work. I think it will intensify the matter further.

Yeah I am pretty livid at all the "GOP is at fault for the bridge collapse" people. For once this fits the very meaning of "accident" everything was done right, they got the permits for the wide load, they had a pilot car with a height stick, etc. Yet the truck was slightly too tall and the bridge supports curved in at just the wrong place.

And the driver was from Canada, so I'm pretty sure he doesn't vote GOP in this country.

Gelareh Bagherzadeh murder has still not been solved. Crime stoppers is offering a reward of 200,000 dollars for tips leading to an arrest, the largest in their history. She was shot point blank through the window and drove her car into a garage door. Police say her car wheels were still spinning when they got there. Looks like she was executed. She was very active in local protests against Iran.

Anyone anywhere else hear about this case? They only thing different is no one stayed to have their picture taken or claim credit. Either terrorist or Iranian agent (BIRM)

I chose a 9MM over a .40 so that I could better hit what I was aiming at, as I found the .40 had a greater tendency to jump on me due to the recoil. One bullet won't necessarily take them out, but I have enough clips around for the person getting shot to use their dick as a pencil.

Well the assailant was trying to climb into her attic where she was hiding with her kids. She emptied her gun into the guys head and he still was able to run down stairs, out of the house and they found him several blocks away.

If it were not for the fact that he had to go to so much trouble he easily had enough fight left to beat her until he died.

251 My problem with 9mm is that the round has a tendency to pass through a body. It doesn't leave all or most of its energy in the target. Its shape is sleek so the wound cavity is small

.40 S&W has a flat end. So when it enters the target a lot of its energy is expended by crushing through the first few inches and as it expands, creates a large cavity about the size of an average adults fist.

That's why a 9mm is like the point of a nail and the .40 is like the head. Try jabbing a nail through your arm using the head of a nail and then try it using the point.
