27 He lied and he knew he lied.  That was to placate the masses into complacency.  There was no way old plans could remain in place--they did not address allowing adult children on your policy or coverage for pre-existing conditions--in fact, they had careful wording saying the exact opposite.  So they had to be rewritten.  Syriasly, you guys, this is not rocket surgery, even a dumbo like Barky knew the facts.

Posted by: Sherry McEvil, Stiletto Corsettes at October 30, 2013 08:27 AM (kXoT0)

28 My premium plan was cancelled. My Obamacare options are double the premium and deductible. With more expensive and more limited access to specialists. My new plans will be 2x as expensive for worse care than my old plan. My old plan was not catastrophic coverage. It was a premium plan. There is nothing on the Obamacare exchanges that offers care as good as what I had. I will be paying, at a minimum, 2x as much for inferior insurance. They are lying that only catastrophic plans were killed by Obama.

30 Thanks to ObamaCare, New Yorkers can now get health insurance with rainbow sprinkles. In yet another bungle for the botched government insurance rollout, the state Health Department has mistakenly listed numerous non-health-related business as enrollment sites — including a Brooklyn cupcake shop that has been besieged by callers. “I have nothing to do with this,” said Carmen Rodriguez owner of Brooklyn Cupcake in Williamsburg. “I run a very busy establishment, and I’m like, what is going on?” Because of the mistake, her bakery has gotten 150 calls from people seeking medical-insurance information. “There has to be somebody who can help with ObamaCare; that’s their own mess,” she said. Hell they'd be better off buying her cupcakes

66 The underlying method of cutting costs throughout the plan is based on rationing and denying care. There is no focus on preventing health care need whatever. The plan's method is the most inhumane and unethical approach to cutting costs I can imagine as a physician. The rationing of care is implemented through The National Health Care Board, according to the plan. This illustrious Board "will approve or reject treatment for patients based on the cost per treatment divided by the number of years the patient will benefit from the treatment." 113 79 As we are seeing, a major goal is forcing people into Medicaid. The bottom-up public option. The lower-middle class will not have the option to opt out of medicaid. They are being forced to buy through the exchanges and if the IRS says they don't make enough, they will be forced onto Medicaid. Posted by: Flatbush Joe at October 30, 2013 12:37 PM (ZPrif) ------------------------- Yes. The point is to shove the lower middle-class into the hardcore FSA. This is evident in ALL of their policies, from EBT expansion to immigration. Destroy the middle class, or, more precisely, destroy the kulaks. The only "middle class" that will be allowed is the class of government workers. Welcome to the USSA, folks.

I just checked and my insurance plan was cancelled.  So I switched to another one that is just as good with slightly higher deductibles but... it is costing me an extra $2K a year.  The other change is that you have to agree not to do a jury trial if you want to sue for malpractice; you have to use binding arbitration.  I actually am good with that as the lawsuits are ridiculous.

The other alternative plans were way more expensive and the cheaper one was much more limited in your M.D. choice.

Much is destroyed, but the end result is a happier healthier forest. Very true. It's like Enviro-wackos often do more harm than good. There are trees that need forest fires to thrive, like Aspens. The Aspen population has decreased in direct proportion to the downtrend in forest fires. Smokey the Bear and the Nat'l parks Service Fascists hate trees!

Thompson should have done better, but what is it about successful startup campaigns that pass over their successful campaign workers and bring in the old, tired, experts to take over? Posted by: Paid for by Citizens for Clyde the Orangutan at October 30, 2013 12:46 PM (QF8uk) Thompson would have been an excellent candidate and an excellent President. He just made the mistake of waiting too long to start his formal campaign. By the time he announced, others had already racked up promises from prominent people in needed states. Yes, if we had any other candidate than McCain, Obama would not have been able to skate on that "natural born citizen" issue, nor would anyone else have prostrated themselves before him the way McCain did.

But think about the Big Picture.

Now the insurance companies will have more money to spend on campaign contributions.  And that's what is truly important.

We were discussing 404 Care and Obamas lies, mis management, cronyism, and how the Administration is herding the cattle citizen into his socialist stockyard.

He said... and i quote.....  "The facts are the facts.... but I just cannot bring myself to admit that you conservatives were right".

** blink.... blink***

That is the hump we need to get the LIV's and the independents over.   Either get them over that hump or give them a way to agree to the facts without having to admit to admit we were right.

If you can do that.... the progressive agenda in this country would be set back decades.

The insurance lady told her that had we waited it would have been more like 40%. We are all paying in one way or another for all these free riders and increased plans. That means smaller, if any raises, for most of our workers. That means less money in their pockets which means less spending. Yep, should be real fertile ground for the Dems to run on next fall.

I don't know if anyone else has made this point, but it just dawned on me.

So what if the WAPO and the NYT report that Obama lied?  Aren't they just the last ditch (and maybe not even the LAST last ditch) between Obama and the only thing that can really thwart him - the fury of the heartland?

Really, who in DC did not ALREADY KNOW that he lied?  Who in the liberal costal enclaves EVEN CARES that he lied?

As long as it doesn't get out to become the common wisdom in Flyoveristan, the jig is not yet up, just a few elite media outlets repositioning themselves to cover up that to help him out, all along THEY LIED TOO, and not always by omission.  No Siree.

And of course, the LoFo base is rock solid - hell, Obama could BRAG about what a liar he is, and they would love him even more than before.  He very nearly has done just that from time to time.

No, this is not the end.  It is not even the beginning of the end.  In fact we will be very lucky if it is even the end of the beginning.  The collective intelligence and self-reliance of America has been relentlessly hammered down for years now. I wonder, is it already too late for a "We happy few..." speech from Cruz?

Then after the mid-terms, all hell breaks loose when employers give their employees the insurance premium they were paying as a raise and drop them onto exchanges. Employers will sell it as a raise and pay the fine (tax) and they are off the hook forever.

370 Obama's true colors (I denounce myself) are finally being revealed to and seen by the lofos and idjits constituting 52% of the voting body politic.

The pressitutes' lies about the SCOAMF are now rendered impotent.  Their successes of the past in propping Teh Won up is no more and they know to try is futile and will only further erode the MFM's credibility.

This is due to the millions of cancellation notices and millions more trying the 404Care website to either (1) actually get insurance or (2) see what all the fuss and late night show jokes are about.  The MFM's selective shading, downplaying and scoffing at the "extreme right/GOP" on this issue is facially false and the lying mainstream media knows very well that  too many sheeple know of the actual facts of the Epic Fail in the launch of  the heretofore wunderous  'gift' to America of Obamacare from the bestest, smartestest President evah. The presstitutes were finally forced to report the facts and now there is a floodgate of reporting which is overwhelming the administration.

Oh, the best part?  It is only beginning.  While the traitors to the Fourth  Estate will likely find other squirrels and shiny objects on which to "report" *spit*, 404Care will slog on with nothing but bad, bad news.  It is really quite interesting and pleasing to watch, but for the pain it is causing so many.

The end result of Obamacare will be less people going to the doctor for preventative care and all of that stuff nanny liberals claim to like. If you are middle class (the majority of the country) and can't get subsidies, many will just drop this new unaffordable insurance and cut back on routine visits. They'll let the govt. be their catastrophic insurance by paying the fine, but they won't get as many breast screenings or vaccinations for their kids.

433 Until he no longer CAN feed his family. Then you are sausage. If he can't feed his family, he's not going to be able to rise up in amything more than a riot. Rural people are fucked if their food is confiscated. The Terror Famine in the Ukraine is a good example. A bread riot in the capital is a problem. This is why the Bolsheviks confiscated grain from rural peasants around Petrograd and let them starve to death. The coty dwellers could storm and kill them; the peasants had no such ability. If your capital is well-fed and content, you are immune to starving hordes.

This is what is so remarkable. The concept of insurance is as simple and old the idea of currency. Yet these dopes can't seem to grasp that just as in society, you cannot have more dependents than producers. Insuring "Kids" under there parent policy until 26 and then asking these same kid to contribute to the scheme was laughable at best and a glaring red flag...but no one listened. A person who earns $500 a year more then they spend can limp along for years. A person who does the opposite, very quickly, within months, discovers just how painful that can be. Looking at the economic numbers for the past decade there are tens of millions on the edge of a razor. This is a tipping point. In retrospect, Biden was entirely correct. This is a big f*ing deal.

480 If your capital is well-fed and content, you are immune to starving hordes. So how does that work when all the starving people flock to the well-fed cities? China has had this problem for ages, but I don't know what they do. In 1930s Russia the land was huge and the peasants were not mobile. America is big, but the people can all get to the Capitol in a few days.

.No he should not have been, and the bigger point is, Election people in Indiana knew that before the Primary and did nothing because they said it was too late to redo the ballots before the Primary date.  I suspect there may have been a few other States that had some shenanigans going on too.

>>Looking at the economic numbers for the past decade there are tens of millions on the edge of a razor. This is a tipping point.

In retrospect, Biden was entirely correct. This is a big f*ing deal.<<

And next year, right before the mid-terms, tens of millions of people with  employer-paid insurance will be getting cancellation notices and the premiums will be even  higher.

Even the GOP will find it  hard  to screw that up.  But, try they will.

493 probly the way to get the "I dont want to admit you were right" crowd to back off their irrational support is to flatter their precious egos by asking them "its a Hell of a mess and we should start over, now that we know the dangers. What are your ideas?" then let them convince themselves. remember we dont need a solution but the opposition to repeal.

495 The WaPo needs to be fact checked:

"Moreover, itÂ’s certainly incorrect to claim, as some Republicans have, that people are losing insurance coverage. Instead, in virtually all cases, itÂ’s being replaced with probably better (and possibly more expensive) insurance."

Um no.  That would be a lie in all cases in which a person's coverage is being cancelled.  Replaced suggests substitution.

First, there is nothing automatic.  So when you get a letter saying your coverage is over and you'll have to sign up at Healthcare.gov; you have lost your coverage.

Second, if you don't have the money for the new premiums, then unless you are living off the dole already; you'll likely not qualify for subsidies.  So if you can't afford premiums, then you'll opt for the penalty, err tax.  At that point, you'll have no coverage.

Finally, if you were a single male paying a reasonable premium for insurance appropriate for a single male; you will not get better insurance.  You will get gold plated insurance that covers pap smears which you'll never want to get and won't work for you anyway.  And it won't probably be more expensive, it will be more expensive.

So that's three Pinnochio's for WaPo on just one paragraph.

b) in fetal position, thumb in mouth, rocking with his tattered blankie (see: iReggie)

c) carving initials into precious wood of Resolute desk: BO + RL or reviewing his last golf scores

d) pretending to be John-John and popping out of fake panel of desk, irritating ValJar and others trying to put out fires of his signature legislation

e) all of above
