Alabama State Representative: I Object to a Biracial Marriage

In this case, the Representative making this statement is a Democrat. He's also black. He said he didn't like Clarence Thomas because he's married to a white woman.





He's claim he was misquoted:




Yeah, I'm not sure I buy that. Who starts a sentence with "Some might say I don't like him because he's married to a white woman?" Who thinks this way, except for people who object to a black guy marrying a white woman?

This country needs to grow up about race. There is real racism in this country. And racism is as poisonous a thing as liberals say it is.

But if liberals wish to their campaign against racism to be principled rather than a simple partisan attack, they have to call out racism whenever they see it -- not just when they find it, conveniently, amongst their political enemies.

Which really seems to be their preferred mode of operation, unfortunately.

I really wish liberals could decide if it's racism they most hate, or simply Republicans. Because I am tired of them taking the latter to be the former, and ignoring or covering up racism when they see it in their own midst.

111 In 1997, I attended the Signal Officer Advanced Course (SOAC) at Fort Gordon, GA.  (An aside, I really should have paid more attention to the business side of it -- I could have invested in the companies making the stuff that goes from military to civilian.  Sigh)  Anyway, I go into a gas station that has one of those quickie marts.  As I approach the store, I see a burly black dude in overalls going in and a burly white guy in overalls coming out.  BWG says to BBG, "Hey Vern, how's it going?"  Then something about fishing.

I've noticed that as long as the participants are good people (losers are losers no matter what their ethnicity), men of different ethnicities often bond over sports, whether participatory or spectator.  I knew a woman who was 1/2 black (father) and 1/2 Jewish (mother) (and flat-out gorgeous).  I asked her about family gatherings:  the men bond over sports and the women bond over babies.

Thusly, to cope with this internal and unconscious pain of inferiority the psychologically crippled Black man seeks the white woman's hand in marriage principally as a means of achieving validation and acceptance into white culture. When she tells him that she loves him, when she stares with blue or green eyes into his soul, he has a mental orgasm that implies, although erroneously, that he has finally achieved acceptance into the White world. Only 1:4 Black women will get married their lifetime. Thusly, he no longer has to be reminded of his dark-skin, broad lips, and nappy hair when he gazes upon his posterity. Quite the opposite, if he is lucky – as nature has the final say, he will be pleased to be a White baby with only traces of African stock, and this makes him happy. Love is not blind, and marriage arrangements are financial institutions that have little to do with emotions. However, the Black woman has to be careful in how she raises her son and imparts to him standards of beauty. For all long as the bulk of Black women spend the greater part of their disposable income on Korean-controlled beauty products, trying to look "more white," they should not be surprised to find that their sons have chosen to trade in the false "want-to-be/trying-to-be" sister for the real thing.
