An Update on the Upcoming Elections
— CAC

Good morning everybody. I just finished discussing the latest on the upcoming races with Ben Domenech and Brad Jackson on their Coffee & Markets Podcast, which you can listen to here. I focus mostly on the general elections, but the more intriguing primaries also get a mention.

Bonus drinking game: every time I say "um", take a shot.

6 Another winning issue for the upcoming elections: data privacy. The Congress will fight this like hell, because it'll piss off big donors (like a google or Facebook) but we the voters are sick and tired of our thermostats telling the home office what we are doing in our homes, or our cars reporting our activities to busybodies in Dearborn http://cbsloc.al/1arSp03

Meh.  She flipped the state in '08 and gave Libby Dole an almost 8 point girlie beat-down in the process.

She's guaranteed funding equality -- at worst -- with any Repub. That and incumbency gives her the win.

Posted by: Laurie David's Cervix at January 16, 2014 07:02 AM (kdS6q)

59 And it will be revealed that if Republicans don't blow it, we have a chance of electing a slim majority in the Senate who will still accomplish nothing in the way of rolling back the socialist totalitarian state because "we don't have the presidency" and "if we do anything 'radical,' we'll alienate the moderates."
