5 Democratic insiders tell me the Obama inner circle now only consists of the president, Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett and Chief of Staff Denis McDonough — and not everyone agrees on McDonough.

10 @5 - so what's the modern-day analog of torches and pitchforks? Do we need to send R/C battlebots into the Oval Office to grab Jarrett and her trained pet and drag them out into the public glare? Have tar and feathers been replaced by electrically-powered sex toys and riding mowers?

The Pragmatic "Oh, this won't play well in the rest of the country" crowd has her ear now. Don't know about that .   He has so many projects going at once I believe he is  always looking for the next big stepping stone.  I'm  also  sure he would not mind following in the steps of his good friend Kimmel.

Carolla is presently making another movie,  he has another book release in May and has signed  to  do another season  of  To  Catch a Contractor on FX.   If he could pull down the same amount of bucks doing just  a talk show ,  I think he would do it in a second.    Anyway he is too controversial for the networks  so he will never get a talk host job.

Republican candidate Mark Callahan was reportedly among several other GOP Senate candidates seeking an endorsement from the newspaper. Callahan took offense when he caught reporter Nigel Jaquiss scribbling “blah blah blah” while candidate Joe Rae Perkins answered a question, as first reported by Jim Romenesko. “I see what youÂ’re writing down there. You just wrote down ‘blah blah blah blahÂ’ for everything that Jo Rae said,” he said. “Jo Rae is a respectful woman. Why are you not respecting her by writing ‘blah blah blah blahÂ’ in your notepad?”

104 95 What was the gun rights thing in OK? CCW, NFA?? Posted by: The Obvious Sock at May 02, 2014 05:15 PM (q+zA9) It was a law intended to remove discretion from Chief Law enforcement officials regarding the issuance of permits for National Firearm Act weapons. (Sawed off shotguns, silencers, fully automatic weapons, etc.) The current standard is that a Chief of police does not have to issue a permit if he doesn't want to. The legislation requires that a permit be issued unless there is a legitimate law enforcement reason to deny it.

You're supposed to know how to read the map: In the 21st century, the world will not keep tolerating the Israeli occupation. The occupation threatens Israel's status in the world and threatens Israel as a Jewish state." The world is being self-righteous. 134 Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel said Russia is emerging as a long-term threat to the U.S. and its NATO allies, but stopped short of calling for an increase in U.S. troop levels in Europe. In one of his first major public speeches about the 2-month-old crisis in Ukraine and its impact on NATO, Hagel said the post-Cold War era belief that permanent peace had come to Europe is over. “Russia’s actions in Ukraine shatter that myth and usher in bracing new realities,” Hagel said in Washington on Friday. “NATO must stand ready to revisit the basic principles underlying its relationship with Russia,” Hagel told defense experts at the Wilson Center, a think tank. ???? You are being forced to be held accountable for an accident you have not yet committed. I have the means to pay for my own damages, but the law doesn't allow me to operate under that concept. It requires me to pay some Non-Governmental agency before the government will permit me to use the public roads. I spend about 4 grand a year in insurance payments for coverage I really don't need.

170 It could never have been Ron Paul (way too whiney and old), but it could be a younger libertarian, easily. The young will never go for a social conservative. 171 D-Lamp: "I'm pretty sure it was done completely for audiences outside of Oklahoma." But idiotic nonetheless. She thinks that audience will spare her for this veto? She's Republican. She's a political target. Always. Does she not get this? You cannot "buy" off the hounds, so you better have your buckshot ready at all times to ward them off.

178 WASHINGTON — The effort to remake the intelligence relationship between the United States and Germany after it was disclosed last year that the National Security Agency was tapping Chancellor Angela Merkel’s cellphone has collapsed, according to German officials, who say there will be no broad intelligence sharing or “no-spy” agreement between the two countries when Ms. Merkel visits the White House on Friday. The failure to reach a broader accord has led to some bitter recriminations on both sides, with sharply diverging accounts from officials in Berlin and Washington about who was responsible for what was supposed to be a political solution to an embarrassing disclosure. But it also raises broader questions at a moment that President Obama and Ms. Merkel will attempt to show that they are in general accord on a strategy for both punishing Russia for its actions in Ukraine and containing President Vladimir V. Putin in the years ahead. ??? Not that I care to much about this, I mean spy we must, but I thought obama is the one who we all have been waiting for to make the world right? Guess not ha? Has this putz done anything right?

This crosses a line, and what's worse, the media will deliberately use it to spread the propaganda lie that Republicans are racist. Low information users will remember the optics and consider it true. The legal system has long recognized the existence of "fighting words", well this sort of activity is "fighting words."
