— andy Three guesses who our esteemed Senate Majority Leader blames for
Charles and David Koch are one of the “main causes” of climate change, charged Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on the Senate floor.“While the Koch brothers admit to not being experts on the matter, these billionaire oil tycoons are certainly… experts at contributing to climate change. That’s what they do very well. They are one of the main causes of this. Not a cause, the main cause,” Reid said.
Emmanuel Goldstein emails, "Sheesh, Harry, don't you think this hating on the Kochs is a bit excessive?"
"Not at all," replies Reid:
“Charles and David Koch are waging a war against anything that protects the environment. I know that sounds absurd, but it’s true,” Reid said. “In the Senate now we are considering an energy efficiency bill. Who’s working against that more than anyone else? The Koch brothers.”
Actually, no, it's absurd.
And while we're on the topic of "climate" "denying", here are a couple of related podcasts from the archives:

* Jim Lakely from The Heartland Institute

Ah. Yeah. About that "energy efficiency" bill.
It's the usual corrupt Beltway shitweasellery. Packed to the brim with costly pork. Training of workers for "green jobs" that don't and won't exist. And more intrusive, ineffectual nonsense along the lines of light bulb bans.
Goddamn liberal Democrats!
Except the co-sponsor of the bill is Rob Portman.
RINOs. We're here for you. Well, actually, we're here for ourselves and our spots at the trough. And we find those Democrats quite accommodating of our special needs.

Well, the Koch brothers ARE working against these stupid energy bills... spending millions. So, it's not a lie. They have a vested interest to spend millions lobbying against any climate change legislation that would hurt their businesses.
But, so what? Every industry spends millions to get their way in Congress. It's what keeps assholes like Harry Reid wealthy.

It mandates MOAR steps to improve the energy efficiency of the federal government. Including the military.
Last time the military got the memo from the Obama crew on energy efficiency, it ended up with the Pentagon buying "green" jet fuel at a staggering $150/gallon. No, I didn't miss a decimal point. One hundred and fifty dollars a gallon.
Hey, brilliant! Let's double down on that shit! Maybe we can get to $300/gal this time round!

More to the point, the left understand keenly that when someone unknown to the general public are first presented, there's an opportunity there to define that person either in negative or positive terms. Whoever moves first wins.
The left were ready to strike fast and hard on that with an avalanche of attacks and satire and negativity. And they did. DAMN, did they ever.
Meanwhile, the strategy McCain's staff had for defining Palin to the general public involved shoving her out for confrontational interviews with hostile liberal journalists from alphabet networks. Worked great, huh? McCain sure can pick 'em.

Oh and I think any conservatives writing any proposed abortion limitation laws need to insert "except in the case of DNA proved incest" Seriously every attack ad on someone as being 'anti-choice' says they supported some law "even in cases of rape or incest" In fact maybe insert some language about "except in case of DNA proved incest or rape where the victim files a criminal complaint within 3 days of the attack" to any abortion limitation bill.

This is grossly unfair to drooling, mindless, imbeciles. They are typically victims of bad genes and have no control over their state. The same cannot be said for the Dems. They are pure, distilled evil, and I no longer give them the benefit of the doubt. They are concerned only with their personal power, and the country can hang for all they care. If you doubt that, look at the hearings on IRS and Benghazi.
Interestingly and infuriatingly, they're all talking up the violation of constitutional rights angle to justify their grotesque resistance to limning the truth.

My fondest with for Hairy Reed is cock cancer so it can be radiated until the dangerous cells are eradicated along with his shriveled cock. Young boys will be forever safe.

Can you legally slander a slanderer?
Say, as a hypothetical example, a politician publicly and repeatedly accused a presidential candidate of a serious felony crime, and yet had not evidence whatsoever to back it up. Could the falsely accused person (or anyone else for that matter) then sling equally outrageous accusations back at the accuser, without fear of prosecution?

June 30, 1989, Associated Press: U.N. OFFICIAL PREDICTS DISASTER, SAYS GREENHOUSE EFFECT COULD WIPE SOME NATIONS OFF MAP–entire nations could be wiped off the face of the earth by rising sea levels if global warming is not reversed by the year 2000. Coastal flooding and crop failures would create an exodus of ‘eco-refugees,’ threatening political chaos,” said Brown, director of the New York office of the U.N. Environment Program. He added that governments have a 10-year window of opportunity to solve the greenhouse effect.

I'll have to ask one of my old fraternity brothers about her; he's a metal sculptor and runs in the arts community circles in MS these days. I find it hilarious, as he's politically somewhere between libertarian and traditional conservative.

Harry Reid is a fruit bat nut-burger crazy McInsane delusional lying two-bit .
“Charles and David Koch are waging a war against anything that protects the environment."
Obviously their millions in philanthropy against cancer is an evil plot to stop cancer's beneficial effect on the environment.

Not only batshit crazy, but a festering evil pile of lies designed as a denigration of something that can have no rejoinder.
What can you say? No, it's not copied? How do you prove a negative without affirming
Disgusting, slimy and vile - that's Harry reid and this witch of an author.
