Holder Will File No Charges In IRS Harassment of Tea Partiers Matter;
Tea Party Lawyer: “This has been a big, bureaucratic, former-Soviet-Union-type investigation, which means that there was no investigation”

— Ace

As you know, Barack Obama, who heard about this when you did, was "outraged" by it all.

Turns out it was a lot of hoop-de-doo and much ado.

The DOJ lawyer whoÂ’s heading the investigation is an Obama donor and the FBI, after seven months of supposedly investigating this, only recently contacted tea-party groups targeted by the IRS. But other than that, everything here seems legit.

Cleta Mitchell, lawyer for a bunch of targeted groups, cries foul on the decision.

“As far as I can tell, nobody has actually done an investigation. This has been a big, bureaucratic, former-Soviet-Union-type investigation, which means that there was no investigation,” she said. “This is a deplorable abuse of the public trust, but I am not surprised.”

The investigation was relentlessly thorough.

The FBI finally has begun to contact some of the tea party groups targeted by the Internal Revenue Service for inappropriate scrutiny in the first public signs that the administrationÂ’s criminal investigation is progressing.

A lawyer representing some of the tea party groups that battled the IRS for tax-exempt status told The Washington Times that a “small number” of his clients were recently contacted, seven months after the investigation was supposed to have begun.

That's usually how you do investigations -- you figure out the conclusion and then, as you're finishing up your report, you reach out to the actual victim-witnesses to hear whatever lies you'll have to mention in your footnotes.

Senator Tom Coburn, an Oklahoma Republican, praised Mr. Holder’s qualifications and character as much as any Democrat, calling him a great lawyer and man of integrity. Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama said he was sure that Mr. Holder would be “a responsible legal officer and not a politician.”

When the foundations are being destroyed,
what can the righteous do?”

The Lord is in His holy temple;
the Lord is on His heavenly throne.

He observes everyone on earth;
His eyes examine them.

The Lord examines the righteous,
but the wicked, those who love violence,
He hates with a passion.

On the wicked He will rain
fiery coals and burning sulfur;
a scorching wind will be their lot.

For the Lord is righteous,
He loves justice;
the upright will see His face.

91 This is why Habakkuk is not a "minor" prophet. He asks: How long, Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you, “Violence!” but you do not save? 3 Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrongdoing? Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and conflict abounds. 4 Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails. The wicked hem in the righteous, so that justice is perverted. And Habakkuk still waits because he knows God is faithful-that God has a vision that will not be thwarted and what justice doesn't come in this life will come in the next.

I kinda think we're past that becoz this corruption and seeming immunity to laws goes down to municipal level now [after Detroit and DC prosecutions, I mean].

We're pre-Mexico as far as daily-grind corruption goes now. Only thing in the way is how cops are currently quasi-nobles with the right to kill with impunity if the victim is a commoner versus the rather lowly-regarded easily-bribed greaseball of Mexico.

100 This is just more evidence that entire departments of the government now work directly for the executive and not for the country.  It's almost expected of Justice, but State, Commerce, the EPA, Labor, Education, etc. etc.

Just this alone is a massive expansion of power in the executive branch, and by working directly for the president, it means that they work for the Dem party and against everyone else.  What will happen after an election and these department continue to work for one party and against a sitting president?

This to me, is the most stark indicator that this country is circling the bowl and probably won't come back.

We are going to have to suffer or a LONG time and the cause of ALL of this is the Democrat long march and political correctness.

The ONLY long shot prayer we have at rule of law if Hillary! wins in 2016 is that the hesitation at doing their jobs is a combination of fear, refusal to be seen as racist under Obama, and greed at "smiting Bush."

But a great many of the laughers will have flown the coop before the actual event and the remainder will sweep in to nail everybody down in place. Then the fights start, if they ever do.

Won't be by 2016 though. Might could take a page from them and hightail it yourself, barring that move wealth offshore. But it comes down to distance and removing yourself from the sphere of influence, if possible. Some of that can be done internally.

191 In a statement emailed to reporters, Issa, chairman of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said: Anonymous — and apparently politically motivated — leaks from unnamed law enforcement officials further undermine the public assurances by the current and former FBI directors that this is a legitimate investigation. These leaks come after the Justice Department, citing the confidential nature of the investigation, refused to brief Congress on its progress and congressional investigators independently discovered that a high dollar contributor to the Obama administration failed to recuse herself. These revelations further undermine the credibility of the Attorney General [Eric] Holder and the Justice Department under his leadership. Given the circumstances, there is little reason for the American people to have confidence in this investigation. ==== That outta scare 'em, Darrell.

235 Main thing you can do is focus on yourself, your family, and your friends. Hated minorities can survive. Jews survived for 2,000 years before getting their country back. Democracy pretty much vanished from ancient times until the American Revolution. Sucks to live in the dark times when tyrants rule. Perhaps the best you can hope is to survive as well as you can, care for your family, and keep the idea of liberty and freedom alive in the face of tyranny so that future generations can try to live as free men again someday. The Founding Fathers were impressive men. But also key were all the scholars and thinkers that kept alive the ideas of the ancients and the idea of democracy. Sucks being a hated minority, but some people have to endure that so that future generations can live free. That some people might be us.

269 There's also the daily media war. Try not to support leftist media if you can avoid it. Most people here already do that. Reward your friends, punish your enemies. It's good when somebody gets rich for espousing conservative ideas -- that encourages others to adopt them. Sharing links and stories from conservative media on social media helps spread ideas to friends and family, helps mainstream conservative media.

What did Bush do to scour the Agencies of Democrat partisan operatives?

What did a lot of the right blogosphere do when a lot of us were pointing out the early warning signs of a weaponized Intel and LE community?

---> Alex Jones Crazy types...

even when it was demonstrable at the time that the Plame game was an "inside-outside" gambit by democrats in the Federal "Non-Partisan CIA" and the media?

Anyway water under the bridge at this point our greatest enemy is time and amnesty.

The people who know what we are supposed to be are dying daily, and amnesty will crowd out the Boomer's kids generation...

We're the people noticing the first blistering of the radiation tan from a gamma flash.....

357 230 Yes. In the material existence, all things come and go in turn. What remains? "The kingdom of God is within," Jesus said. "My kingdom is not of this earth." To that divine spark of life emanating from God within each human, people connect with God, whether through individuation, or in the unity of the Holy Spirit with two or three calling upon Christ our Rescuer of Life, born of the Water AND of the Spirit. Kith and Kin originally referenced country and family. Why should an enlightened American citizen willingly forfeit/abandon our heritage? Because thugs demand our life? OUR authentic civil heritage recognizes the individual's responsibilities inherent in each "divine right" which our Founders recognized, fought to defend, and persistently protected just as each of us must protect, FROM being ignored or usurped by any earthly "prince" or Governance. We have the right to be responsible and enjoy liberty, life and love in America. We have the rightful responsibility to seek the Divine Life within our hearts and minds while yet on earth, and to let the light of truth shine as it will. And no one has any legitimate "right" to smother truth, love and light.

Posted by: Holder is the man at January 14, 2014 02:04 PM (hZlIF) I have to say your side does have the numbers, but idiots don't count for much when it comes to fighting. They will probably kill more of their own forces than anyone else. I am fond of quoting that one Airborne Ranger who said this: "I and all my friends are trained professional killers. The current status quo does a lot more to protect you from us, than us from you." In the US, the Right has the vast majority of the whoop ass.

368 meanwhile, thetower.org Iranian FM Zarif Honors American-Murdering Hezbollah Terrorist, “Signals Insincerity” Behind Tehran’s Latest Moves Mughniyeh, the leader of Iran’s global terror network, in fact began his career as the mastermind of the deadly 1983 attacks on the U.S. embassy and Marine barracks in Beirut, killing more Americans than any terrorist except Osama Bin Laden. He subsequently engineered the hijacking of TWA Flight 847, as well as the kidnapping, torture and murder of Americans in Lebanon throughout the 1980s, including the CIA’s Beirut station chief William Buckley, who was eventually slaughtered after 15 months of being horrifically tortured on film by Mughniyeh and Iran’s terrorist army, Hezbollah. [Taking bets that Obama's administration resets Hillary's phrase: It happened a long time ago. What difference, at this point, does it make?!]

371 In our America there will be no racism or bigotry. We will be one American family with good jobs, good education and great healthcare. Only you regressives stand in our way of a glorious future for America. If you defective parasites had real families you wouldn't be on your knees begging Big Government to take care of you from the time you're born to the time you die. Your entire movement can be summed up as Mommy Was a Whore and Daddy Didn't Love Me. And "no racism or bigotry"? ROTFLMAO. Your soft-handed lily-white "elites" are racist to the core and see every member of a protected minority (on TV and in the abstract, mind you -- if one of those darkies moved in next door they'd put up the "for sale" sign in 15 minutes flat) as dumb savages that need their paternalism in order to survive. Good luck, too, eliminating "racism and bigotry" from the black and latino populations, given that, you know, they're both virulently racist on a grand scale. "Good education"? Yeah, the public school system that single-handedly sustains the criminal conspiracy known as the Democrat Party is a real smashing success. I mean, who doesn't dream of the day that their kids can attend school in liberal strongholds like DC and Chicago? "Great healthcare?" It takes enormous balls and a near-fatal lack of self-awareness to advertise the benefits of government-run healthcare given the catastrophic failure Obamacare has been and will inevitably continue to be. Keep fucking that chicken, dude. Everything you assholes touch turns to shit. Everything. The evidence is overwhelming and all around you. But you're all mentally ill, so you'll keep working overtime to inflict your idiotic ideology on everyone. Locust.

Well of course he was outraged!  The only mistakes the Barkster ever makes are thinking that other people are not fucking up, and that outrages him.  And then when it turns out he was right and it was all just a distraction, he really gets outragey!
