Justified, Person of Interest Back on Tonight
— Ace

Just letting y'all's know.

I forget what the heck is even going on in Justified though I know it's pretty major. Boyd's going down to Mexico, I think, with the Crowes to try to kill Cousin Johnny; we know he's not going to kill Cousin Johnny. Cousin Johnny is to Boyd as Boyd is to Raylan. He's the thorn to the rose. The rose wouldn't be the rose without it.

Meanwhile, I'm not sure we know yet what Art is going to do about Raylan's minor admission of maybe having arranged someone's assassination by the Detroit mob. A punch in the mouth seems letting Raylan off pretty easy.

Raylan's hot-ass wife will continue to only be referred to in the third person because she's on The Following. So, we lose on that.

I have no idea what's going on on Person of Interest. I know it was getting very interesting before all the winter hiatuses, with the introduction of a rival Machine (?), but I don't know when they'll be returning to that plotline. Probably just for the season-ending arc.

3 Boyd is definitely going to kill Johnny! And on PoI, the last thing about the overall story arc is that decima technologies has the other "machine" that Saul Rubinek made. It's the functional equivalent of Harold's, so they will be able to pretty much hack into everything and anything.

4 New NBC show 'Growing Up Fisher' has been on for about 3 minutes and I already like it.

It's the functional equivalent of Harold's, so they will be able to pretty much hack into everything and anything. oh right, that other shadowy group has it. Did you see the funny screen cap of the "Computer View" at the end of the SAMARITAN episode? It was listing other data-analyzing software programs, and listed PRISM (the program snowden exposed) as a "DECOY."

7 You prefer the hot-ass wife to the hot-ass social worker Amy Smart, Ace?

Your opinion is invalid and frankly grounds for questioning your judgment on other matters.

8 I'm not sure that Raylen arranged the murder of Nicky. He sort of let it happen and didn't intervene when Sammy came down to remove Nicky because he fucked up capturing Drew Thompson. Raylen was kinda sorta supposed to arrest people if he saw them killing people. That's what Art was pissed about. Raylen held out on him.

Posted by: EC at February 25, 2014 05:39 PM (doBIb)

9 >>>You prefer the hot-ass wife to the hot-ass social worker Amy Smart, Ace? yeah. Amy smart is cute but she's not hot like Raylan's wife. Raylan's wife makes me want to draw pictures of penises on artworks.

21 Let's not forget poor Ava is rotting in prison right now. I know we're all supposed to think Raylan did a shitty thing letting Augustine get shot to pieces, but does anybody really blame him? He tried to kill Raylan's family, for Christ's sakes.

Yep. And I'd bet money she's gonna eventually bang Raylan. The upraised eyebrow when she first met Raylan and he saw her tramp stamp.

And as a side note, when she was a kid the actress played Paul's little sister in Dune (Lynch version, not the miniseries). Yes, I frantically IMDB'd her when I saw the tramp stamp over her sweet ass.

Possibly the best season of them all. Was kind of disappointed by season 4, not that it was bad, just a bit over the top, what with all the cartel stuff. BB works best with White's gang operating on the micro level, but catering for the big boys also. Found the whole "WW foils mexican cartel, big wheel distributor and assorted assassins... plus pipe bombs etc" a bit of a stretch. Season 5 goes back to mostly local level stuff and relatively small rivals etc. Jack's gang were great. Like what made seasons 1 through 3 great.

62 I finally looked up the actor playing the particularly odious Crowe, the one who killed the guy two weeks ago in front of the kid and ran The Social Worker off the road. He was the clean cut lab assistant on C.S.I. New York.

63 >>>nd it's partly because I hate Michael Rapaport. Not just this character, all his characters. He must remind me of someone from my past that I really hated. i usually don't like him as an actor. They usually cast him as people who are smart, and frankly I don't buy it. But this role suits him perfectly. Oddly enough, his character is pretty smart, but not very smart, and for whatever reason I buy Rappaport at this level of smart (Thus far and No Further, I say).

100 Possibly the best season of them all.

It is easy to find after the fact criticisms. But sometimes it is better to give credit where credit is due.

103 Walter is too clever by half. That's what made the show great. Like Jesse told the Feds, he *is* smarter than you.

105 Raylan didn't arrange an assassination on anyone. One bad buy was looking for another bad guy and Raylon being a gentleman told him where to find him. Also, what would Art do if someone tried to murder him several times and kill his pregnant wife? I believe going after a cops family in real life is a no - no and if shit happens, oh well...

107 @44 I am so looking forward to the Americans tomorrow too. I kept season 1 on my DVR and just rewatched it. I think season 2 will be good from the way they set it up at the end of season 1.

That first season was very strong.  It seems like the type of show that will be very difficult to maintain.  How far can you really box these characters in, and have them avoid death, without it turning into MacGyver?  I'm definitely looking forward to seeing that show return as well, though.

People were pretty excited about the fall of the Berlin Wall too.  Doesn't mean anyone liked it.

Does Urban Legend have some meaning I am not getting, because for me Alicia Witt beats out Natalie Zea in hotness.

116 In fairness, we don't know that cousin Johnny is actually dead.  But he is at least pining for the fjords.

Now we just need to see how Raylan uses Mr. Uber Geek.

118 Cousin Johnny RITD (Rest In This Desert) Boyd's impulses get the better of him. Will Ava end up running the bad guy show? Will Rachel end up running the good guy show? All the actual guys are offing each other. Dumbshit Crowe's days are numbered. Possibly his hours. I love this show. It's just as good as BB but under appreciated.

119 33 CBD, I love Justified - plenty of eye candy for us womenfolk. Then again, I'm a Moronette, so I may not be like other wives.... I LOVE Justified! I am also a moronette so there's that. I can't wait for it every week. Even bought the whole series on DVD so I can watch them all again. FWIW I think Amy looks hit up. She looks like someone who has partied too hard. She has it in her to be pretty, just lives too hard of a life. Now Winona on the other hand is very easy on the eyes.
