Didn't see the thread. So, carried over from the ONT:
I've got a meeting , so -
I'm still too busy writing and battling the black doggeh to really put together any Hollywood stories. So I give you a picture of the impish Priscilla Dean:
http://tinyurl.com/pemkwwr
In the book Ladies in Distress by Kalton Lahue, there is a picture of Dean in a floor-length negligee, holding a candelabra. The picture is titled, "What a way to go to bed!" Naturally, Lahue gave no source for the picture and I've never been able to find it, even with google. I wish I could; for me, it's a definite bunk picture.
See you all later.

As you sit there looking at the effects of catastrophic climate change, you may all take this opportunity to reflect on your lives of right-wing racism and hate. The failed policies of the RethugiKKKan party have led us to this. The "international bankers" outsourced industry to countries with no environmental laws have left the planet poisoned and America bankrupt. The money was stolen to fund more illegal Zionist wars against brown people.
Only Barack Obama and the forces of trans-national progress can save you.

With Boehner, Cantor and that third dipshit that Levin is always railing about, forming a coalition with the donks and the JEF, what the fuck is there left to support? The only fucking reason Boehner is the Speaker is because voters were pissed off over 404Care and the reckless spending that began in the Bush years and that drunk pile of shit has run exactly opposite to that mandate.

Good news, every Juan!:
A new law in the northern Mexican state of Sonora bans parents from registering names for their children defined by the authorities as "derogatory, pejorative, discriminatory or lacking in meaning".
The civil registry is distributing a list of 61 such names to its local offices around the state that has been primarily drawn up from a revision of records of names registered in the past. These range from Burger King and Usnavy, to the Spanish word for scrotum,

First of all, thanks for the correction on which one of the spawn of Satan was the Chavez suck up. Second, Patches was such an inept bumbler and substance soak that the PBS apparatchiks ran a documentary on his RI race and just how fucking corrupt it was in steamrolling some relatively deserving resident instead of that ignorant retard. I'm sure whoever produced it was summarily executed and all copies of the film burned but it was a very revealing portrait of just what a dimwit he was and how corrupt it was to put him in office.

Its the South, we don't normally get cold down here.
Huntsville has 2 trucks that sling kitty litter, not salt. They use a grader to remove snow. It really is hard to justify an expenditure on equipment that *might* get used once or twice in a decade.

Former congressman Joe Kennedy.
He and his brother Michael (?) started "Citizens Energy" years ago as a non-profit to provide cheap power to the poor. Had a friend who worked for the for-profit side of the business. The brother killed himself playing ski-football in CO. about a year after it came out that he had been screwing the babysitter for 5 years.

If you want to read a sweet story that will make you smile and maybe shed some happy tears, check this one out:
'Miracle' baby's condition improves with parents' touch
WMUR (NH): http://tinyurl.com/kp7kzyh
...Cora Lee arrived far too early, but what happened next has surprised everyone. She came into the world weighing 1 pound 5 ounces and was delivered early because her umbilical cord had wrapped around her neck.
Cora Lee was born at 25 weeks and one day, so she was almost 15 weeks early. She had complications that required her to stay in an incubator. Her parents were told they should hold her in her final hours...
...But when Cora Lee was cradled in her mother's arms, something happened that stunned even doctors. Her oxygen level soared. She was not only surviving; she was thriving.
"I had really told myself she wasn't going to make it. It was the hardest decision," Elizabeth Smart said. "As soon as she touched mommy and knew who mommy was, it was a brand new leaf was turned."
...Doctors developed a plan that Cora Lee would be held by every member of the family for 72 straight hours. She is now getting better.

Adriana Ferreyr, a 30-year-old South American soap actress, is suing Soros, 83, for breaking his promise to give her a $1.9 million Upper East Side condo. He ended up giving it to his current wife, Tamiko Bolton, whom he recently married.
Three years ago, Ferreyr filed a $50 million lawsuit against Soros, whom she dated on-and-off again from 2005 to 2010. She alleges that during a "romantic reunion," Soros whispered that he gave the apartment he allegedly promised her to another woman, who would become his wife.Honey, when you get in bed with the devil you don't end up winning

In the wake of the IRS targeting scandal, the Democrats are publicly prodding the agency instead of lobbying them directly. They are also careful to say the IRS should treat conservative and liberal groups equally, but theyÂ’re concerned about an impending tidal wave of attack ads funded by GOP-allied organizations. Much of the funding for those groups is secret, in contrast to the donations lawmakers collect, which must be reported publicly.
One of the most powerful groups is Americans for Prosperity, funded by the billionaire industrialists Charles and David Koch. It has already spent close to $30 million on ads attacking Democrats this election cycle.
“If they’re claiming the tax relief, the tax benefit to be a nonprofit for social relief or social justice, then that’s what they should be doing,” said Sen. Mark Begich (D), who faces a competitive race in Alaska. “If it’s to give them cover so they can do political activity, that’s abusing the tax code. And either side.”
... it seems the Democrats have their own methods for voter suppression
