OMG: The NSA's Been Spying on Every Single Call, Text, and Email in Iraq!!!!!!!

A couple weeks ago, we learned from leaked documents that the NSA has the capability to record an entire country's calls, texts, and email in real time. That's a hell of a capability, and those documents revealed that it was being used in one country. Now, thanks to a retired NSA leader, we know which country that is: Iraq.

...No matter what the reasoning was, it's still pretty insane that the NSA can monitor every single phone call, text, and email in a country. They're doing that with six countries now, according to the leaked documents. But it's even more insane that friends of the NSA think fessing up to it is going to make the agency look good.

Apparently we're supposed to be outraged by this at least according to the writer. But then this kind of information collecting is the whole raison d'Ãªtre of the NSA in the first place. If they're not trying to capture any signal intelligence of potential interest in a country up until recently thousands of US troops were fighting in, then I want an accounting of all the goddamn money we gave them and where their time was spent.

At least in this case, the mountain of unpaid bills isn't the city's fault. But it certainly is to blame for leaving the agency in such dire financial straits. Oh, by the way--about half of the 6 million "newly insured" are actually Medicaid, which they were already elligible for, and the majority of those who are paying for new policies are self-employed that had old policies cancelled. Maryland spent 9 figures on a website they just closed down. Oregon spent $300 million on a website that never signed up a single person in the first 5 months! And the 6 million number counts anyone who put something in their cart--which is like Amazon counting anything on your Wish List as sold already! Lies and billions of dollars later, and the system is worse now for more people than it helped--and we haven't even touched the large employers yet. Some 90 million people will lose their existing insurance this year if Obama doesn't illegally extend deadlines again. But, please, keep telling me how awesome if is.

Just remember that, contrary to the movies, you don't want to tie the ankle to the cinderblock -- once decomposition starts, that'll pop right off and you'll have a 95% corpse floating around. You want to attach the midriff to the cinderblock and cinch it tight, so it can't come loose until the spine separates -- by which time, all the rest of the pieces will be thoroughly scattered around.

238 Carol, I started using a Neti pot when I was pregnant and couldn't take anything for congestion. Now I use it when ever I get sick or allergies start up. It does take a bit of getting use to but I couldn't live without it now. They also have a Sinu-cleanse squeeze bottle type that some people find easier to use. The key is to use distiller/purified water if your water source isn't treated and make sure that it is WARM/body temp NOT COLD. If it is cold you will feel like you are drowning, and if you don't use the salt solution it will burn. It will clean the pollen and dust from your sinus' and get rid of excess mucus plus the salt will help to reduce the swelling of your nasal passages. Google a utube video on how to use it if you are unsure of proper technique.

The corruption in the city water department is on par with the rest of the Detroit. Even more laughable was that the dpartment was under federal supervision for a decade or so due to corruption and yet no one caught the continuing lack of accounting. There are all sorts of ghosts...some are harmless, some are mischievous, and then some are malevolent.

It's not a stretch for me to believe in ghosts...

They are actual proof of life after death...and, I have seen a couple.

I've never talked to any though.

Just seen them.

If it happens again, traye...you may want to really consider calling someone who can do tests and stuff, to find out what 'type' of ghost you may have in your house.

It's your wife so your choices of her exposure to your kid are going to be limited. A passing comment about a ghost in front of a 2 year old is inconsequential. If She tries to drive weird crap into the kids head later worry. I tend to belive women are more in touch with the spiritual. As long as she doesn't feed the kid fear don't worry about it. I wasn't looking for them...but I have seen them, twice, in the old houses I've lived in.

I lived in a pre-civil war house, that had a lot of history.

There were cold spots, footsteps walking down the hallway...then at times we could see actual figures moving around.

Then, the other was a rent house that had just been renovated...the realtor didn't tell us 'why' it had just been renovated.

A guy had just died there, when his tv exploded in a lightning strike.

I didn't get the sense that these were 'malevolent' type ghosts.

Just spirits who hadn't moved on yet.

654 @650 - I think the conclusion was that dealing with the Helen Thomas cooter was similar to mine countermeasures in that it's clearly an application for some sort of remotely-controlled or perhaps autonomous equipment. It's hard to imagine any but the most desperate combat situation where you'd want to risk your people in that role.

The grandmother came up from staying there saying that during the night she got frigid cold and couldn't move but was yeelling yet couldn't hear herself. Same thing happened with two other family members. They would NOT sleep in that room again. (My buddy awoke in NYC with his gram's praying over him Santeria style.). Different story, but ..

668 Well I have to say, I never gave much of a thought about ghosts, and supernatural stuff. I always figured they made for good stories. The night my mom died proved to me how soooo wrong I was.

Like 'ette Carol, my neck was very screwed up. I had a relapse in 2011, a bad one. Not sure what i did but a nerve got pinched and screwed me up big time. The first time it blew out was in 2004, it was messing with my right arm and shoulder, and it took 3 years for 80% of the symptoms and weird shit to go away, and since then I always had to be really careful, because the reminders always seemed to be lurking just waiting for me to screw up. I would get headaches sometimes from just having my head in the wrong position. 2011 it took out the left side. 2 months later mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. 30 days from diagnosis to dead. It was a brutal, because I was still in deep shit, and camping out in the hospital for a month took a toll on me because it knocked me off my healing schedule, which I gladly ignored. I was getting worse, and my head was locking up where I couldn't turn it.

My mother kept telling me don't worry about her, and she was feeling bad I was having to spend time in the hospital and not doing what I needed to do. Of course I said well too bad, when you get out of here I'll deal with it and we'll both heal. Well mom didn't heal and I sat with her the last night until she passed.

When I got home that night I sat on the couch, I was in pain, my neck was real bad. At that time I had to sleep flat on my back with no pillow. It was hard to sleep that way because it was messing with my back. Some times I would roll on my side just to give my back a rest but that would last 30 seconds before the neck pain kicked in. and if I fell alseep that way I woke up in 30 minutes in real trouble. Anyway, I sat on the couch and said I can't fall asleep here sitting up, I 'll be fucked. I don;t know why, but in cliche way I looked up and said sorry mom, I need to rest, if you can just let me know you are ok.

Thats the last thing I remembered. I woke up on the couch 3hours later with both neck and back pain and dragged myself to bed, and I knew I would never sleep. I did my usual roll onto my side for that brief little break and passed out.

The next day I woke up and said ok here we go, time to play 90 year old man. I went to move.... no pain anywhere, nothing. No neck problems, not a fucking trace. No pain, no creaking in the neck, no headaches, no locking, all gone. I literally woke up with a new body. Its been 3 years and its like none of it ever happened. Mom sent her message.

Not trying to explain anything away, but I had almost identical symptoms back in 2001-2002. Consulted my regular doctor and a number of specialists, including some non-traditional therapies (chiropractic and acupuncture). Nothing helped. At the same time I was under a huge amount of stress because of a new group president in my business unit who was (1) a complete idiot and (2) the worst kind of crony capitalist.

After about a year, I had completed my job search and quit. My neck problems went away immediately and have never come back.

As long as you don't mind having all your files stored in the cloud ( i think google gives you 100gb free storage for a year or something, then they start charging you, something like that), plus they don't run MS Office. But if you're ok with both those Chromebooks are a good inexpensive alternative to a regular laptop.

No major ammo alerts throughout the day and evening.
Starting point for ready availability of .22lr still is around the .12-.14 per round.
.223 BTFMJ in brass cases is consistently around .37 per round.
9mm is level and steady at .26 per rnd.

Went through around 100 rounds of CCI Standard velocity round nose lead with Mrs VIA's dedicated upper yesterday just for grins and giggles.
Lots of talk on the intertubes about .22 in an AR configuration not behaving well.
But, this is now over a thousand rounds through her CMMG, and in the last 700 rounds, not a single failure to make the noise come out the end,and a hole show up on the paper.

I followed everything in this link about how to get your stuff running smoothly, and it has really paid off.
