Poll: Democrats In Worse Shape in 2014 Than They Were in Big Red Wave 2010

Per the new WaPo/ABCNews poll, there is only one important number where Democrats are in a better position today than they were four years ago:

Around this time in 2010, only 12 percent of Americans offered up positive opinions of the U.S. economy, compared to 29 percent today.

Granted, that's a very important number, and +17 is a big improvement. But still: a mere 29% of the public say anything positive about the economy.

On all other numbers, Democrats are in worse shape today than they were four years ago.

Health care system is getting/will get better as a result of Obamacare:
March 2010: 37 percent
April 2014: 24 percent

Seems to me, if people were paying attention, that number would have gone UP due to TFG's extralegal modifications.

It is very expensive for the taxpayers because of all the automatic appeals and lawyers who get paid to do them, and it plays into the meme that conservatives are mean, especially when something like a failure to kill expeditiously happens as apparently just did in Oklahoma. I really believe that life in prison is much more of a punishment in my opinion and has just as much of a deterrent effect. I understand victims are not given their "eye for an eye" but as a person who loves the Bill of Rights I think we have to be less interested in victims' rights and more interested in preserving individual rights, so in these instances I'd make them settle for life without parole. It is very grim in a maximum security state prison and I would rather die than be in one even for a day.

206 Who cares? I don't. We've got Boehner all primed to grant amnesty, we've got Rand Paul telling us it would be too hard to repeal obamacare. Of course there's McCain, Rubio, Ryan, Cantor, McConnell, etc., also. I might contribute to an individual Republican, but not a chance I'm voting for The R by default. If I wanted a Democrat, I'd vote for one. We've got Chamblis working with Feinstein to ensure that the NSA can spy on us, and compel telcos and ISPs to turn over all their data. When you've got a so called conservative working with Feinstein, at some point you have to say enough. I've reached that point.
