Continuing with Dave and Y-Not's bipolar theme, I present the Saturday Evening Potluck thread.

First up: NASCAR

NASCAR takes the show to the 1.5 mile track at the Kansas Speedway in Kansas City, KS for the 5-Hour Energy 400 Benefiting Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Leading the pack today are Kevin Harvick and Joey Logano, clocking speeds of 194.253 mph and 193.910 mph respectively. The full lineup can be found HERE.

Last week's race at Talladega was a drama-free event for most of the race, save for Keselowski short-cutting across Danica's front end, then this happened. Brad Keselowski, winning friends one accident at a time.

Now, to switch gears...

Two weeks ago we held the first-in-a-series Movie Night With The Morons and, by request, we're hosting it again in two weeks. That would be Saturday, May 24th, for those of you who don't have 14 fingers with which to count.

Since our last gathering, I've been doing a bit of research on streaming sites for both PC's and television. And, at the suggestion of a few Morons, also checked out this nifty little site: CanIStreamIt. You simply search for a movie title and it will return, mostly, the information as to where you can find it. It isn't perfect, but it works really, really well.

If you have a Roku, a Blu-Ray player, or a gaming system, then you might already be familiar with Amazon (and Prime, if you are inclined to pay their fee), Netflix, Mgo, and Vudu, but I've learned that both Blockbuster and RedBox offer streaming as well, although Netflix and RedBox are subscription-based services. And, of course, there's the On-Demand option if you have cable.

For PC viewing, there's Amazon Instant Movies, Blockbuster Now, Mgo, and Vudu. Even You Tube now offers movies-for-rent. Simply search for the movie title and you're likely to see a little green price pop up for one of the video links.

I picked the first movie, so I think it's only fair to let you guys pick the next. Each of these movies has been researched and found to be readily available on a number of the aforementioned streaming services. Several movies which had been suggested by the horde were not so available and thus did not make the cut. I suggest humming Taps while reading the list: Big Trouble In Little China, Bowfinger, Flash Gordon, Ghostbusters, Idiocracy, Roadhouse, and Xanadu. They may become avaialble at a later date, so I'll check back on them. For now, we'll go with what we have.

The ball is in your court. Vote for the THREE movies you'd most like to watch with the Horde and, try to mix it up. It might be nice to play some old school and some older school favorites.

You can only submit your selections once and I'll report the results next Saturday for the following week.

Until next Saturday, how about some elbows from a racing movie?

In my mind, it takes more than steering the car. It takes a lick of sense between the ears.
