— Gabriel Malor Happy Wednesday.
Charles C.W. Cooke has a must-read on Obama's lawlessness. Sen. Mike Lee has a related item at the Weekly Standard asking, "If Obama is so lawless, why is no one suing him?" Lee is correct, so far as he goes, but he doesn't discuss the possibility (a long-shot, but not that long of one given President Obama's continuing unilateral amendment of the ACA) of congressional standing left open by Raines v. Byrd, as I briefly mentioned last year. We just need to find a member of Congress whose vote for Obamacare is being frustrated by Obama's refusal to enforce it as enacted. Yeah, okay. I said it's a long-shot.
Admiral McRaven says special ops will have working "Iron Man" suits by 2018. Given that it's "a collaborative effort involving 56 corporations, 16 government agencies, 13 universities, and 10 national laboratories," I suspect 2028 is closer to the mark.
The Idaho Supreme Court ruled that gay spouses may adopt their spouses' children, even though gay marriage isn't lawful in Idaho. The state high court noted that the Idaho adoption statute provides that "any adult person" may adopt, not "any adult married person," as one judge had interpreted it to exclude a gay spouse who had married her wife in California.
I was celebrating several Blue on Blue events yesterday as a nice change from sighing over the perpetual circular firing squad on our side. The intraparty strife on the left is spreading: NARAL, a pro-abortion organization, is publicly opposing one of Obama's district court nominees. The group joins several black organizations and the Congressional Black Caucus in opposing the nominee. So far the White House isn't having it: "JarrettÂ’s answer" to the group's pleas "was a terse, 'No.'"
Gov. Christie's office is pushing back hard against hacktastic NYTimes reporter.

It's hitting Atlanta again now.
I lived there in '92 when a Nor'easter ran the eastern seaboard. It dropped 12" of snow there and it was a primary reason I bugged out in '96.

.When we moved to Kentucky I was shocked to see those "Choose Life" plates here. I made the comment to my wife that where we lived in Connecticut they simply were not allowed or even discussed, and if someone had one they would be sued. Seems I was right.
I wonder how SCOTUS will react?

The worst news? No matter what anti-American, criminals, treasonous, racist or self-aggrandizing stunts Choom Boy pulls during his last thousand days, our Conservative Intellectual Elite and Our Betters in the Republican Party will talk about it.
And talk about it, and talk about it. And talk some more.
End result of all that chewing-over, parsing, anal-yzing, debating, and considering that lets the commentariat preen over its intellectual brilliance? Nothing. Nada. Zip. Zero. Not a damn thing.
I have grown tired of the babbling eunuchs who claim to be "conservative." They don't even have the Dangling Courage Units to call President Historic First's© felonies by their proper names, much less demand the proper course of action. They have made losers like Bitch McConnell and John Boner what they are today.
Much as I despise lefties and all they stand for and do, I feel equal repugnance for our own slackers, traitors and carrion birds. This will be a better country when all of them are banished to well-deserved obscurity.

Virginia has a "Trust Women, Respect Choice" license plate. The plate fee is $25 per year, $15 of which goes to Planned Parenthood.
Normal plate fee is $10 a year, so basically Virginia is acting as a middleman for a fund raising exercise.

That is one heck of a commute. I did some work in the BWI area and even though I could usually start my commute around 9, it still sucked.
Get satellite radio and look for the mellow stations.

Virginia has a "Trust Women, Respect Choice" license plate. The plate fee is $25 per year, $15 of which goes to Planned Parenthood.
Normal plate fee is $10 a year, so basically Virginia is acting as a middleman for a fund raising exercise.

Teddy bears oh god. I had the misfortune of knowing two different basket-case stuffed-animal women "all too well." These current furry-persons seem balanced in comparison. If you get as far as the bedroom and see it lined with toy animals, flee for your life. It's not arrested development (which I'm pretty well down with); it's retroactive infantilism. The baby-talk wears thin pretty fast. And the drooling.
As an advertiser, don't you have to wonder? What kind of man is enthusiastically courting to trust his future, his future children, his future earnings, and his entire penis to a person thrilled to ecstasy by the size of a stuffed animal? Any repeat customers? What the hell is going on up there in Vermont. Is it the handgun heroin?

At least Drunkle Omar was employed in the private sector. I'm not sure if Zeituni could do Mooch's made up job where her ass gained a few growth rings from her well compensated lethargy and the giant vacuum caused by her departure has gone unfilled, causing a physical phenomenon that would tax the ability of Stephen Hawking to explain.

241: "Strap a Pratt and Whitney F-100 turbofan to that and then get back to me."
Point of order. F-100 series engines are turbojets, not turbofans.
To qualify as a turbofan, most of the thrust must be produced by the bypass air.

It's probably too late for this reply, Y-not, but because the Americans and Canadians are so much better than all the other competition; the two teams hate each others' guts; and both teams are used to rougher, North American play (rougher than in European men's and women's leagues) the refs let both teams engage in more physical contact than for European women's teams or either of the N.A. teams playing Euros. Both teams want it this way (see point #2 above) so basically the only thing that is called a "body checking" penalty by the ref is the equivalent of "boarding" in men's hockey. Good refs do this: it's called "letting the teams play" and even in NHL games when there are two really good teams playing each other and they're not pushing it, a ref will ignore non-blatant offences to keep the flow of the game going. And NBC's announcers are shit so they don't understand/know this.
