FRIDAY!!

Hawaii law allows undercover police officers to have sex with prostitutes.

Daily Caller's Alax Pappa's had a sit down with Sen. Paul. Among a great deal of discussion about civil liberties and the NSA, he'd like folks to know that he does not have identical positions as his father.

Obama at Democratic fundraiser: "In midterms, we get clobbered."

I just this week came across this. Why didn't somebody tell me?

Have a great weekend.

1 Good Morning Morons.  Today is Friday, March 21, 2014.  On this day in 1556 the Archbishop of Canterbury, Thomas Cranmer, was burned at the stake as a heretic.  The problem was that he was archbishop with Henry VIII and helped with the annulment of his marriages and the split from the Roman Catholics.  When Mary I came to the throne in 1552 she restored England to Roman Catholicism and become known as "Bloody Mary", executing Protestants right and left.  These are the kinds of things that led the founders to call for freedom of religion in the US.

3 The Democrat front group known as the AMA has found another little piece of crap in the Obamacide law, which they supported. This one could stick health care people with the bills if the patient quits paying their premiums.  Gee it hurts when a law that you supported gores your own ox doesn't it.  But if you want to get rid of those fleas that are eating you alive, then quit getting in bed with stray dogs.  But hey, wasn't this the way it was "before" Obamacide anyway and doctors/hospitals just passed those costs on to the insurance companies that covered other patients?

8 Corrupt Obamanite ATF thugs issued a subpoena by Issa the camera grabber after stonewalling on another thuggish operation to kill the second amendment has created flaps all over the country.

"I have no choice today but to issue the enclosed subpoena," he wrote to ATF Director B. Todd Jones. "... The time for hollow promises is over.

B. Todd Jones is yet another Obama appointee who was handily confirmed by the Senate.  The problem was once again the Republicans in the Senate were stabbed in the back by the usual round of RINOs and DIABLOs in the Senate on cloture.

Â… the key was an earlier cloture vote that squeaked by with 60 votes only after Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, agreed to change her position and a delay to give Sen. Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D., time to return to Washington, The Washington Post reported.

Snip

The other Republicans who voted for cloture were Sens. Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire, Susan Collins of Maine, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Mark Kirk of Illinois and John McCain of Arizona, the Post said.

When I first saw this toad I figured it was a case of Republicans voting to confirm least they be accused of "racism" because this asshole is black.  But after looking up news on the confirmation I find that it's just another case of the usual.  This is a damn good indication of how many Republicans over 60 we need to get real stuff done.   And also a good list of Republicans that need to be primaried.

23 In the no shit Sherlock category a new book "alleges" that the Obamacide law will result in the end of employer provided health insurance.  The Democrats have already admitted that their aim was single payer.  What they haven't admitted was their ultimate goal of nationalizing all of the healthcare industry.  Once they control paying the doctors, hospitals, and clinics they are only one step away from taking those parts of the infrastructure.  And since they will be paying them it will be easy to drive them into bankruptcy "forcing" them to take over.

BB reveals a new strategy in CA's "jungle politics" that is likely to spread across the country.  They insert fake "conservative" candidates in the Republican Primary to either eliminate the real Republicans, as in CA's very stupid primary rules, or to siphon off votes from the real Republicans. Well BB, this is NOT new.  They have been doing this all over the country.  Its just that since CA is under total commie control and has been almost forever now, they have fixed the Primary rules to allow them to use dirty tricks to insure they have zero opposition in the general election. If the damned Republicans would observe the tit for tat game theory and use it the Democrats would quit doing this shit.

38 And what does an oil pipeline leak have to do with weather?  I found this little piece of BS while calling up today's weather on Wunderground.   Holy eco-disaster batman, an estimated 10,000 gal of oil (estimated by the EPA so take that with a ton of salt) has leaked from an underground pipeline into a nature preserve in OH.  And I am sure that this story has nothing to do with Obama blocking the Keystone Pipeline project <sarc>.

Wunderground used to be a politically neutral site, which is why I preferred it to TWC.  It was also more accurate.  But last year it was bought out by the WTC and they immediately jumped on the Global Warming scam and have begun tilting heavy to the left.  I guess I am going to have to shift to Acu-Weather.

98 27.  While the competition is admittedly keen, the Obama administration's multiple application of "disparate impact" theories to impose a host of unpopular policies on the nation will be among the worst injuries this administration inflicts on the nation.

The current frontrunner for me is the EEOC directive that relying on a felony conviction in making a hiring decision can have a "disparate impact" on minorities and therefore employers bear the burden of showing a close linkage between the essential functions of the job and the crime the applicant was convicted of.

Think about that.  By its own apparent disparate prosecution of minorities, the government creates a protected sub-class -- minorities the government has convicted of crimes -- and then bars other citizens from attaching any meaning to the government's own action.

Through the looking glass we are.

According to the EEOC's own policy it is supposed to an 80/20 rule before a plaintiff has to show anything.  IOW, if some test or policy hits a protected specie 80% of the time then the plaintiff must show a valid reason for the policy to avoid the disparate impact crap.

191 WaPo takes a leap ...

You might expect the biggest lease owner in Canada's oil sands, or tar sands, to be one of the international oil giants, like Exxon Mobil or Royal Dutch Shell. But that isn't the case. The biggest lease holder in the northern Alberta oil sands is a subsidiary of Koch Industries, the privately-owned cornerstone of the fortune of conservative Koch brothers Charles and David.

... but reality steps in ...

Koch’s oil production in northern Alberta is “negligible,” according to industry sources and quarterly publications of the provincial government. Moreover, Koch has not reserved any space in the Keystone XL pipeline, a process that usually takes place before a pipeline is built. The pipeline also does not run anywhere near Koch’s refining facilities. And TransCanada, owner of the Keystone routes, says Koch is not expected to be one of the pipeline’s customers.

194 The Palestinian Authority (PA) and Fatah marked the anniversary of a 1978 terrorist attack in which a group of terrorists led by Dalal Mughrabi hijacked an Israeli bus and killed 37 people, including 12 children. In a public event, Fatah spokesman Ahmad Assaf praised Mughrabi as “an extraordinary example of struggle, whose headline is bravery, heroism, sacrifice, and courage,” and someone who “inspired her generation and the next generations.” Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, the official P.A. daily newspaper, reported that at the event, “Fatah promised to the masses of our heroic people that it would remain loyal to the promise of the Martyr Dalal and her companions, and to all the Martyrs, until freedom, independence and return,” according to Palestinian Media Watch. Fatah also glorified the terrorist attack on Facebook, posting that “the waves of the sea raged and disgorged 11 stars. Dalal and her friends had decided to return to their homeland as heroes.” At another event aired live on official P.A. television, P.A. President Mahmoud Abbas’s advisor on NGOs Sultan Abu Al-Einein said, “The [Israelis] are deluding themselves if they think the negotiations are our only choice. Let the young people hear me: Allah, honor us with Martyrdom (Shahada). Allah, give us the honor of being part of the procession of Martyrs.” Fuckin animals. Hey I got an idea let's give em a State?

Invoking the name of their deity at every mention of murder is the most astonishing thing in the world to me.  And much of the secular world honors this murderous cult with deference in everything.

Creating a user name and account: easy. Plowing through all the questions: easy. Alas, I logged out to track down some personal info, and when I tried to log back in, it said the system was currently down. ...but then, Ermahgerd! A phone number: 800-318-2596 And it's toll-free, too! So I'll be calling in the morning to finish the process. No. Big. Deal. Thanks, Obama. Yes, Pitt was thanking Obama before he had personally experienced Obamacare. And now, after having his Obamacare Moment, Pitt has moved from praising to cursing the President. A warning for those with tender sensibilities: although I have cleaned up Pitt's harsh language, many will still find it offensive: What I've learned after a three-month war with these fiends: the ACA says the insurance companies cannot deny coverage to those with pre-existing conditions, which is true as far as it goes. But they can deny coverage for the life-saving medications necessary to treat those conditions. The insurance company I signed up with through the ACA exchange just denied coverage of my wife's multiple sclerosis medication. We're "covered," to the tune of $700 a month...just not for what she really needs. A cozy loophole, that. F--- you, insurance industry. F--- you, Mr. President, you piece of sh*t used-car salesman. From my heart and soul, f--- you. omg, lmao newsbusters via weaselzippers It's like a Daily Inspiration.

267 seriously for those who are more familiar with Rand Paul, he keeps saying he is different from his father. But then he never says in what way. He never gets specific IIRC he is pro amnesty because the free flow of workers, or something and he always says he is for a strong military to protect our "national interests" but he never says what he considers our national interests. and when talking about the military, all he ever talks about is a Pentagon audit. Which I agree with, and should be done. But that is ALL he ever says about our military and defense its what he doesn't say, what I think he wont admit, that concerns me

All I'm saying is that if people would speak the truth to islam, it would have less followers.  I lived and worked for years in the middle east, and I can tell you that these peoples lives are like the lives of animals.  They live in constant fear of doing something that could remotely be perceived as infidel.  They know that their life can be taken from them at any moment and this is gasoline on the fire of their extremism.  And it's a fickle dogma.  I knew several people who went into hiding because even friends they'd known all of their lives were after them to kill them, and after a few months they were able to emerge from hiding as if nothing had ever happened.  Muslims are prisoners to this evil dogma.  Expose the evil for what it is and a lot of people would be set free.

Posted by: FenelonSpoke at March 21, 2014 09:01 AM (XyM/Y) Honestly Brave was more disturbing to me for looks of the main character. Great big beach-ball head, itty-bitty eyes, nose and mouth on it. Looked like she was suffering from elephantitus.

317 My husband has a heavy Texas drawl. He loves to text by using the voice recognition thingy. It makes for some fairly amusing and unrecognizable texts, as the program doesn't understand Texan. If I get a text that doesn't make sense, I usually say it out loud in a drawl and can figure it out.

318 Oh, I know where they come from, but when you've seen MA South Boston, the bucolic South Boston of Virginia can't help but fascinate. Haven't been to Chatham, VA yet, but judging by location I'm guessing it's not much of a whaling town.

You ever have one of those days when what you said made perfect sense in your head.

But when it's in print, you go "Yeh, I could have worded that better"?

327 I'm an old pappa--51--but I enjoyed watching Frozen with my 5 and 7 y.o.  They loved it, had great songs and humor.  We saw it on Disney Fantasy while cruising so that added a bit of magic to it.  The parents enjoyed it about as much as the kids did.

However, that does not excuse the patent pandering to the Scandi community in presenting "Olaf" and the Ice Princess.  Horrible people.  I instructed the children to look away at certain of the more scandi elements of the movie.

Yes they do.  In fact, beaver pelts were prized back in the days for their rich, lustrous, soft fur.  They were extremely valued for trading and worth a lot of money.

332 I took the kidlets to see Frozen a couple of weeks ago at the discount theater. Pretty good Disney movie. It's not about GW. It's about exceptional talent/powers, fear, superstition, isolation and the love between 2 sisters. I'm surprised we did'nt hear the left screaming about it's political incorrectness. Set in Scandanavia (yeah I know) everyone was white and mostly blond. There was woodcutting and ice fishing and some really scarey wolves. It was actually the best Disney I've seen in years. And that song was impressive.

349 What bothers me these days regarding entertainment is: 1. the hatred you see for lead actresses. They are playing a part. Get the fuck over it and knock off the death threats, and 2. the excuses for bad behavior of a character. E.g., Walt was a bad man. He killed or got killed innocent and good people. On The Americans, the ruskies have murdered innocent people. Yeah, I know it's fiction but the people on the internet arguing that they are the good guys are sick.
