Pressed by a close friend during a night of heavy drinking to describe his greatest sexual escapade, the usually private and polite John Wayne eventually gave in and smiled. ‘Rome. The Excelsior Hotel. Dietrich,’ he said. ‘I took her on the staircase.’

Cute! Never heard that one.
I'm sure they went bareback, too. Dietrich once told her daughter, "That silly thing? They're always so grateful when you tell them they don't have to wear it."

In and yet another stupid move, CT moves to ban whole and 2% milk from day care centers to fight childhood obesity.

I took my Granddaughter in to the clinic on Monday for her kindergarten shots. One of the many questions they asked was if she drank milk. I said she did and then they wanted to know what kind. I said 1% and since I didn't get a lecture it must have been the right answer.

The vote was 'by acclamation', since no one objected to demand a secret ballot vote. Our esteemed UN rep (fart), Samantha Power, wasn't around to make that happen but she did issue a statement afterwards about how this is a bad idea.

Democrats view that as a feature, not a bug. It is pretty standard in cults to starve initiates of fats and proteins because it makes them easier to indoctrinate.

I'm going to assume the song is typical modern twangy pop-country glop, and it would only frighten me if I listened.
Or maybe it's not.
My risk analysis of the situation however, is that I could listen to it, and there is about a 3% chance I might like. Meaning there is a 97% chance I won't, so I won't.

I was told yesterday by someone that Hilary is the one most qualified person to lead the country next. To which I asked, other than standing by her cheating husband, what has she done?
I was "informed" that Hillery went to Libya, gave them 3 billion dollars, and the next thing that happened was Kadaffy was killed.
So it's her ruthlessness that is the key.
Anyway, that's my survey of one. The left loves Hilery because she's a better killer than anyone else.

No. When I have these conversations with lefties, and I have them fairly often, I reveal as little as possible. I'm not trying to have an argument with them, I'm gathering information.
So I have no expectation these people will acknowledge or accept any kind of blame being laid at the feet of their lefty heroes for the death of four true American heroes at their hands.
So I don't bother.

So two clams, Henry Clam and Sam Clam, lived very different lives under the sea. Henry was a very good clam, always doing right by others, going out of his way to be helpful, and all of that. Sam, on the other hand, was an asshole clam. He would lurk under the sand and bite kids toes...just a mean-ass clam. But despite their differences, they always had special spots in their hearts for each other.
They both died.
Henry, of course, went straight to Heaven. He was doing OK in Heaven, what with the great Sunday brunches and the wholesome TV shows. But he dearly missed his brother Sam.
Henry went to visit St. Peter. "Pete," Henry said, "I must see my brother. I miss him terribly. Is there any way I could travel to the netherworld to say hello?"
St. Peter said "All Things Are Possible. Of course you may. But you may only go for 24 hours. And while you are out of our realm, you MUST take this harp with you. It's the only way you will be allowed back in."
So Henry takes the harp and goes to Hell. He finds his brother...doing very well. Sam owned several casinos, a disco, and quite a few bars. Sam took his brother out on the town in Hell and showed him an awesome time. They drank, they danced, they caroused. And all too soon the hour came and Henry had to leave. They embraced, sadly, one last time and Henry made his way back to Paradise.
At the gates, the guard looked Henry over and said "Harp, please."
Henry frantically looked and came to a stunning realization:
"Oh no!" he said, "I left my harp in Sam Clam's Disco!

A lot of downstairs neighbors will verify your point. Nothing worse than living below a couple of gays who "Because I Could" argue every night, fighting throughout the night, constantly depriving everyone else of sleep, let alone peace. Were it a hetero couple, the police would gladly respond; but given "specialty" you'd be on the target h8ter list for calling in a disturbing the peace complaint.

The fresh ingredients for "made from scratch" and fresh produce and meat not only cost less than what Moocher mandates, but achieve the best nutrition.
Moocher's mandate a "re-invention of the wheel" diet based on a square model.
Hence, mandate the over processed pre-packaged, shit "food stuffs" from GMO manufactured via insider corporations.
Profits for Transnational Corporations Matter.
And neither your health nor your well being are of concern beyond sales pitch propaganda to brow beat tax payers and the citizenry into submission. Do as you're told and STFU. From what I've seen of that, the most "racist" thing Bundy said was "negro." If that's "racist," then can we similarly send men with guns against the Board of the United Negro College Fund?
Here's what I'm not getting...was it "racist?" What I saw was a guy complaining that blacks are in a cycle of dependency that's little better, if at all, than slavery. I don't really see that as racist. I see it as tragic. And if criticizing that state of affairs is "racist," then the term "racism" no longer has any meaning. It's racist because some talking heads said it is?
But let's, for the sake of argument, think that it was "racist." So what? Does that make it OK for the government to send helicopters and men with guns against the man?
Funny thing about rights...it's not that big of a deal to protect the rights of people with whom you agree. What's tricky is protecting the rights of people you don't really like all that much. If it becomes OK to erase this man because he has an (allegedly) unpopular opinion, then the concept of "rights" becomes undone. Either rights belong to everyone or they belong to no one.
YMMV of course, but if we start waiting for perfect victims before we feel comfortable asserting our rights, then we may as well not have any rights.

You can blame the Navy for all the homos.
They'd bravely bugger up out at sea, and then the Navy would drop them at the nearest port--being usually San Fran--and they would bravely . . . never go home.

Inalienable Rights
Words have root definitions that revisionism can not alter.
Negro is simply Black. To call people racists for using foreign language words that translate into "black" in English is the epitome of racism. That those who force taxpayers to fund bilingual everything (education, employees, forms) are the same who denounce the Spanish speaking to say "black" in another language is the root of hypocritical bigotry and insanity. To say that English or any other than Spanish speaking people may not say "black" in Spanish is what the Left demands.
When Aqua Buddha dumped on the old fart in order to appear better than thou, it wasn't the first time Rand disappointed.
That loud mouth Beck lime played the self righteous bigot condemning any who aren't as pure as the former alcoholic jack Mormon, Jesus' condemnation came to mind of the whitened sepulcher full of corruption though white washed to please the eye.
These responses fall into Alex Jones' model, when he stabbed Debra Medina's GOP Governor Campaign in the back because she allowed people to have their own opinions, unlike Jones (like Hitler) who would annihilate any who get in his way as he "proves" himself a messiah on his crusade to kill all Free Masons and condemn our Founding Fathers while simultaneously claiming to honor them.

But it does play into the "this poor sod can't find a job because [minimum wage too low/ Income Inequality/ GLOBAL WARMING] and all these are because REPUBLICANS ARE EVIL!" lie that the liberals are also cultivating.
Campaign season is upon us, and the Left campaigns not by selling people on how great liberal policies are (since they suck) but rather by shouting about how their opposition is EVIL!!1!!
Anything that comes their way can be spun by a compliant media to feed that lie. That's why they win elections.

My great-uncle was a dairy farmer in upstate NY back when 60 cows was a volume operation. In those days, 1% milk was watered down, and you didn't want to be caught peddling it. They called it "blue." How fitting that the blue states should require blue milk.
There's a whole new alternate history to milk. Rather than "time immemorial," the mythos is that only a handful of people were lactose tolerant until one rough season just a few thousand years ago, when crops and hunting both failed and those who could milk, did, and survived at a much higher rate. Thus, lactose intolerance is presented as the natural state of mankind, something to which we must aspire, the same as the other attributes, poor, nasty, brutish, and short. Sounds like a progressive law firm.

There's no math involved, even though it's all numbers. It's all logic. There are children's soduku versions with most of the squares filled in. I am trying to get my son interested in it. Comprehensive Legislative Reform Packages are the means that dissolve Constitutional Governance.
To those bamboozled by Levin's call for a Constitutional Convention, to hell with another well intended means for insiders behind the scenes to usurp Constitutional Governance from the hands of those intent on integrity.
We already have our Constitution and our Bill of Rights. We don't need a convention, to play into the hands of usurpers with the power/money to coerce people to fall in line, despite the angry peasants at the Insider castle walls.
What we need is to rescind the extraneous baggage, the overbearing authoritarianism that government officials have created for their own profits and self aggrandized empowerment at dire consequence to US Citizenry AND the US Constitutional Republic.
There have been a LOT of former Reagan administration voices calling from the desert.

You know, I've been hearing for years from a small handful of people that the way we raise cattle and process milk leads to larger female breasts...
And after the snickering horde quiets down for a moment there, this is presented as cause for alarm.
As with most arguments that come from the left these days however, I assume the surface reasons are just that. There must be something else, and it usually involves money/government control.
So for whatever reason, this looks to me like another attempt by the lefties to squeeze Big Udder.

Essentially I think the problem is too many on the right think the media war is a "winnable conventional war" never grasping it is in fact a nuclear killing jar.
Anyway Bundy's eloquence is a very extraneous issue to Federal overreach and corruption and I am sorry but BLM's Turtle Soup shows this is corruption at work not "duh law."

I've generally stayed away from the Bundy story, for whatever reason, but this of course is another illustration of the WAY the right and left battle these days.
The left keys in on ways to exploit the situation to their advantage, and the first reaction on the right is whatever they want to call it. Soul searching, apologizing, reacting as if the msm reporting is correct factually before realizing it's not.
The sum of it is, of course, that the left gets out in front of the argument, and the right plays catch-up. Happens all the time.
And every time it does, I go back to the way Breitbart handled these things. He threw it right back at them, immediately. You call me racist? I'm not! Show me what you THINK I said or did that is racist, and I will challenge EVERY stinking word that comes out of your mouth!
We don't do that. None of us. He seems to have been the only one who did, and now he's silent. Which is awfully convenient for the left. The one person who stood toe to toe with them, and now he's gone.

And on a slightly different subject, I listened the Harry Reid's voice for the first time yesterday (instead of reading transcripts), and I'll be damned if he doesn't have the most annoying voice. He'd be painful to listen to even if I actually agreed with what he was saying. Maybe that's how he gets stuff done; he threatens to keep on talking unless his opponents agree to do what he wants, like some kind of auditory torture device.

You'd think that the black robed tyrants might take in consideration that there used to be fifty ranchers (I think I've seen that number used before) in the area and now Bundy's the last one; and maybe, just fucking maybe, the feds have caused this massively fucked up situation in adherence to no overriding national interest in bending over ranchers that anybody ever voted on. I abhor slavery, my family fought slavery as abolitionists from the admittedly bigoted by extant standards of political correctness pragmatic Northern Farmer school of thought.
That said paying people a what is globally Lower Middle Class lifestyle for breathing is abhorrent.
It saps the public of the bought voter's contribution of their ability and it saps the bought voter their self-respect.

On Constitutional Governance, Yes. Long past time to coagulate and stop the bleeding. Third Party, sooner than later.
Attempting to "cure" the Republican Party is beyond Herculean task, when Republicans as a WHOLE (specifically, the Republican National Party Leadership and body of elected Republicans in office) are content with their world view, that being authoritarianism benefiting the transnational corporations and destroying the so-called Middle Class populations around the world. It's so much easier to rule rather than govern when everyone but the Oligarchy is a serf (or slave).
It isn't as if we're not already at the Gate reading "Abandon all hope, ye that enter" via arbeit macht frei, despite being boomers whose parents "won" WWII. Marxism (authoritarianism) is nothing new being Socialism succinctly denounced by Jacques Bastiat; nor is the Progressive Movement already in force late 19th Century. Btw, H.G.Wells wrote his expectations that included hopes as well as questions, whether results would be good or bad, given "Progressive" politics that led to a global, never ending 1940 War which in turn led to an epidemic of the Wandering Illness of death wherein any who appeared "touched" were shot dead on sight, purging the population of any who would not submit to the new war lord.

That ScarJo movie, what they did was gut a very good story about an alien, ET type, and basically turn it into ScarJo cruising Edinburgh looking for victims for her serial killer character. The issue is government overreach.
Pointing out the thought process behind his ineloquence is not rolling in the slop.
That his own thesis however poorly stated is in fact supported by mainstream Macroeconomic theory(as seen in China's surge to premier industrial power) is beside the point.
The right rather than running for cover should have said "I'd defend satan from an out of control BLM"
of course they should ALSO have begun running AGAINST the National Park Service during shutdown theater...but I live in my mental palace on Earth 1776 where we fought to have representative liberty.

He has said essentially the same thing, from the opposite side. That he finds it hard to meet and relate to black women from the US, but he is also adapting to the point where women with more "traditional" views are not able to relate to him!
It is interesting, and I do think if we did this sort of thing well, culturally, a lot more learning and growing together could occur, but of course we tend not to be able to have conversations about race, regardless of whatever our Attorney General says, because opposing views tend to get condemned, rather than challenged.

Given that the inability to homestead this land is a political taking.
If the argument settles that the cultural, political and electoral differences are along urban and rural lines then raising kids and cattle on this land would shift the balance of power politically.

Kidnapped boy, 10, sang a gospel song for THREE HOURS during terrifying car ride until abductor got fed up and set him free
This is the song that never ends -
It just goes on and on, my friends -
Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was,
And now they'll kepp on singing it forever just because
This is the song that never ends. . .

My kids have been instructed to bite, claw, kick, and scream as much as possible. A little kid can't really fight off an adult attacker, but they can make enough of a scene that it might make a difference.

I was gonna say, Tommy Cruiser has no chemistry with ANY woman, on or off screen.
Still, to those who says Nicole was not sexy, I don't know what you were watching. Eyes Wide Shut is indeed a terrible movie, but that's because Kubrick is a hack, and the aforementioned Cruiser can't act.
But Nicole's bod? Pure joy, it is. Or was. I haven't seen her do anything recently, but like all of us, she ain't getting any younger.

He's so disengaged. Really gives of a "hit" (SWIDT?) of someone stoned out of his gourd 24/7.
The fact that he can't string a sentence together when he's not reading a teleprompter would seem to be further evidence of that.

Yep. Gouge eyes, bite noses, cheeks, ears, etc. Use pens and keys to the face, use your shoes to scrape your way down shins, or kick out knees.
Any and all women, don't EVER give in to your attacker. Fight. If he was going to kill you, it doesn't matter whether you comply or not. If he wasn't, then he'll get tired of fighting you and either run away, or lay there whimpering like the coward rat bastard he is.

One thing to keep in mind, if you are grabbed by the throat, you have seconds before you pass out, so you have to get your chin down between your neck and the attacker's hands, arm, whatever.
After you do that, then yeah, bite, squeeze, kick, scream, gouge, etc. Whatever. This guy doesn't want to have a conversation with you. Your life depends on you making the right moves right away.
