Happy Tuesday.

According to a Forbes contributor, Putin's Human Rights Council accidentally posted the real turnout numbers from the referrendum-at-gunpoint in Crimea. Only 15 percent of Crimean citizens voted for annexation.

Also, a new Russian law requires bloggers to register by name with Russia's media oversight agency.

And Putin signed a law banning swearing in film, television, theatre, and the media. This fuckin' guy.

1 Good Morning Morons. Today is Tuesday, May 06, 2014. On this day in 1937 the German airship Hindenburg caught on fire and burned all caught on tape. There were 35 fatalities including one ground crewman. This widely publicized disaster (along with the passenger airplane) ended the era of the airships for passenger travel.

2 The push is on for fatally ill people to use non-FDA approved drugs. Thousands die every year unnecessarily because it takes so long for the FDA to approve a new drug (10 years) and the drug can not be used unless it has been approved.

8 Another non-review by SCOTUS. They will not hear the case of a Nebraska town that made it illegal to rent to illegals. This article says it will pave the way for other towns to do the same thing but will result in costly lawfare from illegal advocates. The secret to that is to pass a law that says loser pays and make those "advocates" pay a deposit prior to going to court.

61 Michael Walsh answers What Difference Does It Make question: Benghazi matters because it was and is a matter of national honor. And the men and women currently in charge in Washington have no honor. Honorable people do not let American diplomats twist slowly in the wind while they attend “debate prep” and rest up for a shakedown meeting with the One Percent. Honorable people do not suddenly go AWOL while American soil is under attack. Honorable people do not fail to mobilize the formidable resources of the American military, even if it might not be possible for them to get there in time. Honorable people, under questioning by Congress, do not lose their temper and start shouting. Honorable people do not look the bereaved in the eye and lie about who and what killed their loved ones. Further: honorable people do not go before the public on the Sunday talk shows and knowingly transmit a bald-faced lie. Honorable people do not continue to lie about what took place. Honorable people do not say “We are Americans; we hold our head high,” and then hang their heads in shame as they cut and run at the first sign of trouble. Honorable people do not continue to reward the dishonorable with ever-higher posts. Honorable people resign. And until honorable people are restored to Washington — not credentialed Ivy League lawyers with high name recognition steeped in cheap Marxism and fashionable anti-American contempt, but genuine patriots who understand that something has gone terribly wrong with America and needs to be redressed — there will be no justice for the victims of Benghazi. As the Left like to say: no justice, no peace. pjmedia

Posted by: Azenogoth (Freedom or Fire) Est. 1836 at May 06, 2014 07:07 AM (f6ZLT) Sad but true. One of the writers over at American Thinker said this: Good Luck with that Benghazi Thing, Mr. Gowdy But Barack Obama's political culture -- and who could have foreseen any worse than Bill and Hillary Clinton's? -- has so forsaken rectitude that Trey Gowdy's Select Committee may not make many Benghazi waves greater than the gentle swells Darrell Issa's regular House Committee already has. With a brainwashed media shamelessly covering every leftist politician's derriere, a Justice Department run by an administration fixer (himself in contempt of Congress), and a politicized Federal leadership right across the bureaucratic board, any serious desire to arrest the governing venality may amount to nothing more than pissing in the political wind. The truck launched three-weeks ago and has been advertised by Emmerson as a "cross between a taxi and a cheap motel." "Inside, there is one small room concealed within the back of the box truck, disguised to be a pile of cardboard boxes. The room interior is designed to be fancy and minimal both, with the focus on usability, and keeping it clean," says Emerson. "[The room also contains] hand painted wall paper, and special lighting, mirrors, air filtration, temp control, and camera capabilities are are the highlights of the room. Though, in the room there is no furniture, only a bar, strap, and bench." Emmerson has a max time limit of 30 minutes for $75, which must be registered online with a credit card. Participants must be 21 years of age and folks who "make a mess" are charged an extra fee. Parties will be charged $2500 for five hours of truck time. It goes by the heading of Conceptual Art. Well it would certainly force Boehner's hand on impeachment and I don't think the MFM could ignore that. Levin has made the point that the Praetorian Media has to be at least regarded as the enemy by this committee and be prepared to take their message directly to the American people. That might call for a bunch of RINOs to get off their fainting couches and conduct some dreaded town halls. Oh the humanity.

78 It doesnÂ’t really come as a surprise, but a new poll out today confirmed many of our suspicions. We can finally see that most Americans donÂ’t like President ObamaÂ’s policies. In a new poll out today, it was revealed that almost two-thirds of Americans want the next president to change the current agenda. The new Pew poll results show that Obama is truly in a second-term slump. 65 percent of Americans surveyed said they want the next president to have different programs or policies from those of President Obama. Only 30 percent said they wanted similar policies carried out when we get a new president in the White House. meh. Even Hillary could promote this. townhall.com

79 I think there are just some things that are right. It doesn't make a difference whether the Democrats show up or the WH won't cooperate. You do what you need to do because four people died, because there wasn't adequate security and because the latest e-mail says they lied blamed it on a video for purely political purposes. This makes me think of something I heard at a denominational meeting years ago. There was a fellow speaking whose accent I couldn't understand very well except I understood this; He was apparently some pastor in some tiny little church where nobody showed up. I guess it was just he, his wife and the organist and maybe one or two other people. He kept showing up because he had been called to the ministry and he knew God had called him to preach the gospel anyway. Eventually more more people came and he became a Bishop years later. The point was not that he more people showed up or that he became a Bishop but that he was faithful and that he showed up. Hopefully, Trey Gowdy had that same spirit (in a secular sense) that you do things that are right because they are right. You just put one foot ahead on the other and go on. That in itself would be a contrast to the Obama Admin and the Dems who might boycott,

101 [Ed did not have time to change out of a suit into his uniform — regs notwithstanding — before heading out with the guys.] I soon found out what the attraction at the DP [displaced persons] camp was: a barracks full of French ladies entertaining several members of the American Army. Champagne was flowing and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The whole scene reminded Stubby and I of the orgy we had witnessed only two nights earlier on the floor of the underground wine cellar. The barracks was typical of all the other barracks I had seen. Bunk beds on each side of an aisle down through the center of the barracks. Something was different though. In each bunk bed was a French mademoiselle and an American G.I. Everyone was so occupied, the soldier in the tuxedo with long tails, white shirt and tie was scarcely noticed. I decided it was time for me to return to our billrt. Try as I may, I could not convince Stubby it was time to go. He wanted to stand in line in hopes of taking his turn in sharing some pleasures with one of the mademoiselle's. —War Stories by EO Swain, 1945 March 26.

103 So the FBI is investigating the Oregon exchange debacle. What investigators are looking for is whether or not officials misled the state about the exchange's problems. "The key challenge facing any prosecutor is proving criminal intent," the Oregonian explains. "Did state officials paint an inaccurately rosy picture of the struggling health exchange? And if so, did they do so with intent to defraud the federal government? Or were they just unduly optimistic or out of touch with reality?" The total cost of the exchange, over its 8-month existence, is nearly $130 million. I would like to know who received the money.

Yes, true. But consider...

-DC is a weird place (news flash!). There are a lot of poor in the city who are the exact people that Obamacare is supposed to "help." But they aren't buying insurance for various reasons. Conservatives predicted this.

-When you hear the Administration trumpet how signups are going so well, it's clear the empirical evidence is at odds with Administration claims.

-It's not just DC residents...if you work in DC but live in NoVA or Maryland you'll still be paying that 1% tax on your insurance.

Posted by: rickl at May 06, 2014 04:05 AM (sdi6R)

137 The Hindenburg was designed to use helium for lift, that is why its hull was so much larger in diameter than the Graf Zeppelin (helium doesn't have as much lift as hydrogen). We wouldn't sell them the helium because we had declared it a strategic resource. In the 20's we received several zeppelins as war reparations and the idea was to use them as flying aircraft carriers for scouting in the Pacific. We couldn't make the scheme work--the German passenger ships would go around storms but the navy would try to weather them (you can't ground your scouts 'cause the wind is blowing) and all our zeppelins crashed. Then radar came along and made the whole idea obsolete.

We did end up using lots of helium in the war for blimps that served as convoy escorts. The blimps had a pretty good record too--they are credited with a few u boat kills and I'm pretty sure no convoy guarded by blimps ever lost a ship.

Not nitrate dope, it's highly flammable. Before butyrate dope there were airplanes that burned up so fast because of the nitrate and cotton on the ground that they didn't even damage the structure.

143 » Also, anyone see the Oklahoma earthquake warning "due to fracking." Yeah, the science is settled. We squirt a little juice into the earth and the Gaia Spirits get all upset and start turning and tossing in their sleep. We may have to sacrifice a few Christians or Tea Partiers to appease them. For science! The OK quakes are unusual, though. A relatively new geologic phenomenon. Someone suggested the stresses that caused Madrid to crack 200 years ago might have moved west. Oh, joy. I was concerned about just being to close to Madrid! Or fracking. Yeah, that must be it, because Bush.

146 How come there were no riots in NYC last night? I want my riots! The left lives in an entirely different world than normal people. They have that chick on tape assaulting the officer, no, he did not grab her boob. No, she did not have a seizure. And yes, she is a violent person. A telling remark which of course did not come into evidence was one of her friends saying on the audio of the video, oh, there's cicely going nuts again, when she assaulted the cop.

Wealth is something that they Obama administration wants to take from people, not allow.

148 / And Putin signed a law banning swearing in film, television, theatre, and the media. This fuckin' guy. -- Gabe / Ready for investigative journalism? You'll need a fresh cup. When we USA citizens say "we" didn't do X,Y,Z because our LEADERS did, "we" are not exempt from what happens. If we are to at least symbolically wash our hands of allowing/promoting the next pro-authoritarian world war, we can't do so blindly in ignorance. Read F. With full backing from Washington at the moment, the Pravy Sektor apparently feels it has carte blanche to wage their terror and criminal beastiality. On April 24, eight days before the Odessa massacre by alleged Right Sector thugs, Dmitry Yarosh, the head of the Right Sector band and presidential candidate, announced that the group has moved its headquarters from Kiev to eastern Ukraine. “I moved my headquarters to Dnepropetrovsk. The purpose is to prevent the spread of the Kremlin infection,” Dmitry Yarosh announced at a press conference in Dnepropetrovsk. He also acknowledged creation of a new paramilitary brigade of some 800 trained terrorist paramilitary thugs in the east, a special squad of fighters called “Donbass.” Yarosh added that “We coordinate all of our actions with the leadership of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Security service of Ukraine.”[RT] The coup-installed head of the National Security and Defense Council is Andriy Parubiy, a co-founder of the neo-nazi Social-National Party of Ukraine together with Oleh Tyahnybok, the virulently anti-semitic head of Svoboda party. ["Ukraine’s far right leader moves HQ to the east, forms new squadron," RT.com, April 24, 2014] The stage is being set for a full-scale civil war in eastern Ukraine between some ten million Russian-speaking citizens and the rest of the country. The mainstream western media to date is stone silent on the role of the Pravy Sektor criminals in the events. God forbid if this insanity is allowed to spread further, as it will likely at some point draw Putin in and then Victoria Nuland, Susan Rice, Samantha Power and CIA head John Brennan might have their world war slaughter they devoutly crave. [Editor's Note: To round up the nationalist terrorists in Odessa… the real ones, for now it is time to put the flame thrower on the UN. Western powers, having gotten away with using terrorist para-military proxy troops in Syria and other places, have developed a "no fear" policy for their continued use. The underlying problem is the almost blanket diplomatic immunity which the politician and government perpetrators have enjoyed. If there is not hell to pay politically and diplomatically by all those involved in the Ukraine escalation, then we are looking at a template that will be used against the rest of us at the time and choosing of our rogue element elites. Keeping the two words “Right Sector” out of the coverage, corporate media is revealing themselves as aiders and abettors. -- Jim W. Dean] = Reported March 24 '14: Shocking Videos: Here is Ukraine since the NATO Coup. The control of the opposition was always in the hands of brutal, organized neo-nazi groups such as Pravy Sektor (Right Sector) and, behind them, the hard-core trained killers of UNA-UNSO. The events in Ukraine since the start of anti-Yanukovich protests last November have been reported in Germany and in the Western mainstream media such that we are led to believe the ousted Yanukovich regime was evil and the new regime are the good democrats. What has been deliberately censored from Western media is the reality on the ground. Here are a number of amateur videos filmed during and after the coup that paint an alarming picture of the new regime that now might join NATO if Washington has its way. While thousands of honest Ukrainians protested peacefully for change and against the official corruption, the control of the opposition was always in the hands of brutal, organized neo-nazi groups such as Pravy Sektor (Right Sector) and, behind them, the hard-core trained killers of UNA-UNSO (Ukrainian National Assembly-Ukrainian National Defense Organization) headed by Andrei Shkil, former adviser of the corrupt Julya Timoschenko. The fascist thugs, in many ways comparable to the Black Shirts of Mussolini fascists, are tied intimately to the parliamentary party, Svoboda, of Oleh Tyahnybok. Tyahnybok in 2004 was expelled from Parliament, where he had a seat under another party, for a speech where he called on Ukrainians to fight against a “Muscovite-Jewish mafia,” and celebrated the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) during World War II for having fought “Moscovites, Germans, Jews and other scum who wanted to take away our Ukrainian state.” Responding to subsequent public criticism, he said he was not anti-Semitic, but pro-Ukrainian! After that incident, the friends of Tyahnybok in the Le Pen FN party in France began advising Svoboda on how to polish its image and downplay its anti-semitic views. It was a PR move, little more, aimed to get political influence. Svoboda was founded in 1991 as the Social-National Party of Ukraine, deliberately suggesting an infamous German party from the Second World War era. They trace their roots to a pro-Nazi Ukrainian nationalist Stepan Bandera, whose Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN) was implicated together with the Nazis in killing of Ukrainian Jews.

204 We did end up using lots of helium in the war for blimps that served as convoy escorts. The blimps had a pretty good record too--they are credited with a few u boat kills and I'm pretty sure no convoy guarded by blimps ever lost a ship.

Bit of historical trivia about those blimps for the horde...

In the late 1960s Goodyear built a new base, hangar and all, for it's blimp, tail number N6A at a site north of Houston. Goodyear kept the blimp here during the winter months. At the time of the base's opening, there was a story in the local paper about a mystery that surrounded N6A. The gondola it had was originally from the WW II-vintage US Navy blimp L-5, around which there was a rather spooky story.

During World War II, the L-5 was on ASW patrol off the coast of California. The crew radioed in that they had spotted a suspicious oil slick and were going to investigate. No further contact was ever made with the L-5, and it was overdue for several days. The the blimp was spotted pinned on the side of a hill near the Golden Gate. Navy authorities set out to recover it, but the wind shifted and the blimp moved away before they could arrive. The L-5 flew over San Francisco proper, descended, landing on a downtown Frisco street, rolling up to an intersection where it stopped, engines still running at idle speed. Several people ran up to grab it so it would not drift off again. Naturally they looked inside the gondola for the crew. There was no one inside.

The Navy theorized that somehow the two man crew fell out while checking the oil slick, and with the engines at idle the blimp drifted back to shore. But what happened to the crew will always be a mystery.

251 166. Lizzy, Another irony being that the UN and Vatican do wield in common the sword for social justice; though I do not believe that Catholics of the late Pope John Paul II persuasion were/are corrupted via Marxist (atheist) revisionism that has perverted "social justice" to steal human rights from some people in order to "empower" other "deserving" people with dignity. As if human dignity of spirit or the sense of self worth as a child of God is a limited commodity that requires a state, empire or transnational corporation to distribute/redistribute according to what an elitist says must be. You are right. I think that such UN selective investigations, "blind" to Boko Haram, to Syrian "imported rebels" NATO sponsored fighting an invasive war of terrorism rather than a "civil war", to the fascist Ukrainian Right Sector terrorism, etc. certainly implicate the UN in either complicity or compliance, practically sponsoring the terrorism in order to have "reason" to interfere. Intervention? Long past due. US Citizenry provide Washington a sober intervention "outreach" -- send the authoritarians home. Not that either Major Political Party will not usurp the grassroots efforts, as Dan Quayle promised the GOP would do with the Tea Party. Third Party. Our Founders were NOT "party members" but were Statesmen representing constituent citizenry through the Founders' eventual LEGACY. Why do I mention "Third Party" regarding our Founder's? SYMMETRY via the structural integrity via tripartite. If indeed we are drowning in the confluence of Republican-Democrat bipartisan shared values, vote against both major parties. And an alliance of all pro-civil-liberty pro-Constitutional-Republic Americans, if given the votes from disillusioned major party members, COULD INDEED WIN THE BALLOT. Though whether those who "count" would permit is yet part of the problem. Given our current situation as US citizens burdened to finance the exploits of inhumane transnational speculators "investing" OUR TAX FUNDS for their own profits, which sadistically we must "refund" when they demand more funding -- the only "pay back" being the political fallout to interventionist wars that never end which financially benefit the transnational authoritarian corporations, and devastate the Middle Class aka working class or bourgeoisie. Human Rights? pfft Constitutional Rights? pfft Civil Rights, go figure.

For over a century since the pervert Freud, the practice of "psychiatry" has trained educated people to void logic and obsess on "feelings". Ex: the popular phrase is no longer, "I think ..." when expressing an opinion. It has overwhelmingly become, "I feel ..." as if thought need not impose itself in the virtual realm of cosmic emotion. And btw, now Big Bro ACA manipulates control of the Judicial. There is no "legal need" to certify insanity or mental health status any longer. Any response to a crisis call, regardless of circumstances or necessity, can wind an individual into a private care facility under the auspices of Obama/Holder "Justice" Dept. Ace and Morons have already seen the reality of innocent people getting SWATted out of someone's spite. We know full well of innocent American citizens shot dead while trying to awaken to a SWAT home invasion due to "clerical" errors, wrong address, etc. Where do those stories go? Hiding in Obama's mom pants, a la Clinton's Sandy Berger stealing federal classified documents from the National Archive. "We came. We saw. We killed. Bwahahahaha" isn't simply Hillary Clinton's mantra or foreign affairs protocol. Intervention. Whose?

It's not so much a solution to let your kids watch Disney when the neighbor's kids are watching "natural born killers" or playing "Grand Theft Auto." The problem is that those other kids are getting fed a diet of gratuitous violence which colors their perception of the real world, and this is but one example of the phenomena. Propaganda is everywhere, and far too many people have become subject to it's influence. I think the nation would be better off if we simply shut down all the video transmitters. Television has become a brainwashing tool for evil people who simply do not care that they are helping to indoctrinate people to be evil. So what's the solution? I have no idea. Obviously shutting off the television system isn't going to happen, and likewise it is a chilling idea that there should be any sort of controls on this stuff, but the fact remains. This crap is damaging people's lives, and affecting other, innocent people, who have to live in the same society as these brainwashed fools.

The app connects community members directly to each other fostering community interdependence by empowering community members to protect each other. Imagine, instead of making a call to a law enforcement agency that is most likely overworked and far away and certainly trained to respond violently, you press the button on your phone and your previously chosen neighbors will be alerted that you are in danger. They will be able to respond immediately given their proximity to the situation. At the very least the family dog has a better chance of surviving.

334 256. Posted by: Mayn at May 06, 2014 09:20 AM (IxejE) People see what they want, and refuse to think or even to listen to the record. That you would print Rick Perry as if a civil liberties pro-Constitutional division of limited powers chief executive, when it comes to Perry's Executive Orders and Governor policy. Within his first term, Gov. Perry issued executive orders that denied Texans their civil rights, including a mandate that for their own good, all girls take a vaccination that Third World Countries tested and found riddled with the worst permanent and painful side effects. (Sure, play the kneejerk denial because that's the popular Alinsky response, to deny the record and smear the victims along with those who refuse the lie. Because style over matter: Perry Good, Bachmann Bad.) He also allowed Law Enforcement without credible witness to kidnap all children under the age of 21 from a community, denying sibling and parental ANY contact for over a year, denying parents petitioning his office a meeting, UNTIL the State Attorney General and Supreme Court ordered the children be released to their parents, to be allowed to return home. THAT stunt was supposed to crumble a polygamous compound; but only proved whatever fears the target "others" had against American domestic governance and corrupt citizens to be valid. If the vested interests hadn't wanted a polygamous compound in their region, they should have done due diligence prior to the sale of massive land tracts rather than assuming that all profits and all property sales are wonderful. They waited until the buyers made development improvements, as if they had designs to ultimately confiscate the land. What did the establishment community really expect to accomplish illegally via the legal system outside of Eldorado, I still shake my head. And for all the asshats killing the messenger, no one has written more extensively AGAINST polygamy than I. Between Rick Perry and Jeb Bush, Perry doesn't look feminine, and he grew up a Democrat. Looks aside, name aside, MANNERISMS OF STYLE ASIDE, either politician will represent in due course the very same corruption that owns them, the same corruption that has "made" their careers. Transnational Authoritarian Interests And as the phrase goes, Perry "would kill" to belong within the highest rank. $.02

I've been fortunate so far with my kids that they aren't to into shows that they shouldn't be watching. Its not easy these days. The main channel I have blocked on our TV right now to keep them from watching unattended?

ABC Family. Shows we would pick to watch with them aren't an issue its the fucking commercials for other shows. Girls making out, witchcraft, horror, etc.

May be fine for the AoS lifestyle but not for my kids...

348 Teens Blame Michelle Obama for Their 'Nasty' Tater Tot-Free Lunches

Caitlin Tagner, a high school sophomore from North Carolina, is very clear about who she blames for her school's "nasty" lunches: "I blame Michelle Obama." It's great that schools are trying to make lunches better, they're not doing a very good job of it. "Starving kids at school isn't exactly a way to (get) kids' obesity down," Tagner added. "I feel like it's just been taken too far." On Monday, the Associated Press reported that some school nutrition directors want the Department of Agriculture of loosen up the new-ish lunch requirements so students will stop throwing away their food.

There is a reason I dropped my cable. $80/month for crap is a waste of money. The only thing my TV is used for now is watching movies that I buy. And most all of those are more than 10 years old. The last one I bought was John Wayne in El Dorado (1966) which was recently released on Bluray.

I was just thinking about how to dismantle all this, starting in 2017 (and there is some that the new Congress can do to prepare, starting in 2015). It comes down to 4 things. Money. People. Investigations. Administrative actions. Will explain in 4 posts below.

Eh, you're certainly right. Poor choice on my part to include Perry.

Fact is, whoever you want to name, they are going to have baggage. Perry in this case, quite a bit more. In the end, a politician is a politician, they all play the game to get there and want to preserve their power by whatever means necessary.

The broader point I was trying to make is that we are beginning to see the backlash against the statists. Now is the time to get folks out there to be seen with a message that appeals to a broader group. Bush/Santorum/Huckabee are NOT the people to be making that message.

He provided a shallow cover with the official story but expected Obama and the western media to get to the truth. They were all too busy giving each other handies so he got bored and just leaked it himself. He is laughing his ass off right now while all of the above splutter on twitter.

368 Money - there needs to be significant cuts to the budgets of various departments. Sure, there's a mission in many cases that needs to be funded, but cutting the budgets immediately (FY 2017 amendment to appropriations) will de-fund a lot of the crap that is currently going on. Start with the O-care subsidies and extra Medicaid funds. The new Congress in 2017 can take a whack at this. TFG still has the veto pen, so what they can do is limited, but attack it as an Overton strategy. Shoot for 40% so you can get 10%.

369 Sorry, meant new Congress in 2015 above on Money.

370 Were this Nazi Germany, (Which it is slowly becoming) The argument that "You don't have to watch the Anti-Jewish propaganda, you can watch the Disney Channel" completely overlooks the fact that the danger is from OTHER PEOPLE watching the propaganda. Posted by: D-Lamp at May 06, 2014 09:54 AM (bb5+k) Yes. And that doesn't address the Disney Channel itself being propaganda, specially designed for the juvenile brain, the stunted development level represented by the majority of Americans today for whatever reasons, nature v. nurture. More significantly, however, is the confined concept of propaganda limited to whatever is anti-Jewish. Leave ethnicity out of the inhumanity issue, or fall for the "racist" bonfire of the masses. Make that anti-human, because when it comes to suffering abuse and annihilation, every victim "is" the same when on the rack, or when trained in the crosshairs. The business of killing "Because I Could" is the point. No ethnicity is more or less special than another. And were the entire truth told, we'd find the mass genocides are based on IDEOLOGY, of which racism is a mere subset screw. By obsessing over "racism" we overlook the overriding situation at hand. When people value an idea over the lives of others (note well, their own lives are sacrosanct), hell follows. Getting played to fall for every latest propaganda line? Just say no. "AMERICANS MUST THINK" Grover Cleveland The Craftsman published nineteenhundred-and-eight. /to hell with ace's smiley faces each "eight" digit on screen.

371 Investigations - Congress can do what it can for the next 2 years, but in 2017 the new AG needs to think big. The Democrat/leftist money machine, which launders tax dollars into leftist and Democrat pockets through green energy, unions, Planned Parenthood, O-Care navigators, university grants, etc., and then back to Democrat politicians, needs to be investigated for the obvious corruption that it is. Take them down, AG Trey Gowdy.

374 Administrative actions -- bring back the Competitiveness Council. Start with the presumption that every administrative decision over the past 8 years is reviewable, and have a methodology to figure out how to get the most bang from the buck. Which regulations are the worst job killers? Which Executive Orders impact freedom the most? Start doing the scientific studies to debunk the EPA. Be aware that you may only have 4 years, so get cracking on it immediately. Congress can help over the next 2 years with hearings and investigations, prioritizing what needs to be undone first.

378 My tl;dr du jour. The question of what the neighbor kids or relatives are watching or playing that your kids are exposed to is a really tough one. We were pretty restrictive. Glad our kids are grown up. But, they'll have kids soon (I hope), so it'll circle around. But it points up something that somebody quite a while back said on AoSHQ - I wish I could find it again - what we call individual liberty or rights as we understand them is not really about individuals in isolation. If you believe these things and you want to live this way, but everyone around us thinks differently, is tyrannical, basically, then, you can't live free. Under seige, we're becoming, or may become, isolated communities, of people who think alike who understand alike, isolated in common defense against the world. Isolated academically, socially, and geographically. Homeschoolers I know certainly associate with each other with just this intent. These would be Christian people mostly. They have associations which allow their kids to mingle with like minded people. ("Who are my brothers?") You don't want to become out of contact, but you have to defend yourself against constant, wearying exposure to the regressive society elements. It would be best if the moral and righteous civilization was the predominant one, but if not, gathering in self-defense is necessary to have the civilization you want. ___ BTW, If you're looking for somewhere, Oklahoma can be very hot and very cold and very, very windy, and now also featuring added slightly-quakey, but it is the most consistently conservatively-voting state in this nation of states. Milady says she always likes to add, home schooling is part of Oklahoma's Constitution. Could always use more defenders here, to counter the assault of them folks on the coasts YKWIM. If you're looking for somewhere.

This is just common-sense regulation to ensure the safety of the public. Nobody is coming to take your keyboard away.

Mothers Against Internet Incitement supports free speech, but we believe common-sense solutions can help decrease the escalating epidemic of anonymous incitement, via the internet, of riots and terrorim that kills too many of our children and loved ones every day. Whether the violence happens in urban Moscow, outside the Golden Ring, or in the southern oblasts, we must act now on new and stronger blogging laws and policies to protect our children.

381 Posted by: Mayn at May 06, 2014 10:11 AM (IxejE) Yes, given the overwhelming challenge of the US Whitened Sepulcher destroying the sanctity of Life, people must become conscious or fall by the wayside through their own "ignorant bliss". What was yesterday's catchword regarding Obama administration's soundbite on intelligence (Benghazi)? ACTIONABLE. Actionable Consciousness...faith without works is dead. And the last thing virtue needs is a load of opportunistic ideologues wearing the robes of the Priests, Lawyers, Professors, Doctors, Governors, Corporatists who cross the street in order to evade contact with the victim they happen across. Santorum as example of any politician presuming to "help America" should follow Jesus' advice and BE THE LEAST: do the grunt labor lovingly and generously at grassroots level. What good comes from Nazareth? That was asked by a man without guile. And when he saw the good, he responded with generosity of spirit. Republicans are big on Reagan's line: trust but verify. Americans traditionally got it from childhood Sunday School: "By their fruits ye will know them." An heirloom fig tree does not bear thorns; and evil does not bear virtue. Though no one is all good or all bad, remember the writing on the wall because it applies to us all just as to world leaders. Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin. Daniel 5 Remember Ezekiel's damnation by Yahweh of the corrupt who were chosen divinely to practice human spiritual consciousness, taught and covenanting to honor rule of law, but prefer instead paying to be rape victims, proud of the stumbling blocks held in front of their faces. What makes The United States of America exceptional? Our Constitutional Republic honoring and protecting the INALIENABLE human rights of citizenry. Pervert that, and America is nothing special, no matter how wealthy or powerful, because without the exceptional virtue of our Constitutional Governance, our government and all therein are up to no good. E pluribus unum: we grunts will suffer the consequences of our leaders' evil. Either we are all equal under the law, or there is no justice, social or otherwise.

I'm sorry that you don't understand. Holder is ignoring[\i] the citation by not complying with Congress and by continuing the contempt. Bottom line: attempting to arrest a key member of this regime would be like the German legal system in the 1930's attempting to arrest the chancellor or the minister of propaganda. Yeah, that would have worked.

383 374. The administration will just ignore any contempt citations - much as the Attorney General is ignoring his. The lawless pay no attention to the laws. == Exactly applicable to CONGRESS. When the US Attorney General and entire Judicial Dept. WITH the Executive Dept. trump Congressional contempt citations, ball is back in the IMPEACH AND CONVICT court. Obama ain't the only guilty target requiring removal from office in order to maintain ANY semblance of order in governance. Unless the point is that our government has, by means of corporations and corrupt government officials, already become a transnational corporate puppet, we providing "the lion's share of the load" in military prowess for the benefits of a select few at the cost of all others. Yeah, that would have worked. Posted by: An Observation at May 06, 2014 10:53 AM (ylhEn) Depends on which year during the 1930s. Sooner than later, that would have worked. For instance, had the old guard seen the terrorism from the new guard for what it was, instead of turning a blind eye in hopes that the thugs would control themselves honorably when given more power to abuse, Hitler's charades would have served to reveal his ugly purpose. Here's one point in Socialist left/right dogmatic paradigm that differs today from the civil war in post-WWI Germany fought on the streets between German fascists (ironically labor for a more local government than the international laborers) v. German communists. Today, domestic communists and fascists may yet be battling for regional supremacy here or there, as in Ukraine at present; but on the global level, Marxism has already amalgamated corporate fascism with international communism. All governments in the UN represent that situation. All the local battles are for naught but to provide smoke screens and a lot of spilled blood in order to excuse more UN condoned piracy, aka "intervention" invasion to exploit the locals for the benefit of the very few transnational top dogs. At this point, each nation is but a dog thrown into the fight for the owners' amusement to gamble. We are not amused. The UN lacks our permission to play God/Satan forcing us all to "be" Job abused in a sporting gamble. Let the UN Membership play Job's role if they like gaming.
