Sebelius to Resign as Secretary of HHS
— Ace

Heckuva job, Seebey.

In case you think her resignation was caused by the fact that Obamacare and especially Healthcare.gov were disasters, nope, Ezra Klein, head of the comedy start-up Larfz.com, says different:

Oh, you'll be happy to know that Seebey's replacement is a non-partisan straight-shooter who only works on behalf of the American people.

She's the one who unilaterally ordered the Government Shutdown Theater in October, even demanding that the National Zoo's "Panda-Cam" be turned off.

To save taxpayer money, you know.

7 Yeah, Sebelius is taking a victory lap. After the glorious triumph of Obamacare and Healthcare.gov what more can she achieve.

10 This is astounding "journalism." The White House announces it has reached its "goal," Sebelius resigns, and all is well. Forget doc shock and logistics of the insurance industry going forward, forget how few uninsured have signed up, forget how little we know about the actual premiums paid, forget that millions more are set to lose their insurance, forget that the law is still being changed by executive fiat week after week, forget the impending employer mandate (whatever is left of it, that is), all is well! ALL IS WELL!

11 What happens to her flying monkeys? Do all of them go too or do some stay so they can "liaison" with whatever K street cauldron she settles at?

15 This reminds me of the line from Deep Space 9. It was one of the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition: "Every once in a while declare peace. It confuses the hell out of your enemies." Also, I didn't think Ezra Klein could possible beclown himself further. And then this happened today. /slowclap

24 "so she can just walk away?"

She was a good soldier for the cause. Can't wait to see what awards she wins, maybe a VP pick? But I'm sorry, that is only in a perfect world, and we all know it isn't because of those stupid Republicans.

34 okay, larfz.com . Now that is some funny stuff. Too bad Klein's slavish devotion to the Democrats reminds me of politics in the Soviet Union or North Korea. All truth comes from the party and any deviation from it isn't even imagined by these small, little, dangerous men.

37 Here's an idea, NBC. Save yourself a lot of dough and just put up a jumbo wide-screen on Letterman's desk on the "Late Show" set and stream Ezra Klein's Twitter feed through it. At least the show might be funny.

What?

You already signed Colbert as the replacement? For a 5 year deal?

Sucks to be you, man.

44 If Barky could have gotten the IRS to intimidate enough of those anti-0bamacare 501(3)(c) entities it would have not been a failure. Just look how the IRS influenced the overall election. Without the IRS help we would not be where we are today! Remember that song: Put the lemon in the coco-butt And, muck it all up. Put the lemon in the coco-butt And, muck it all up. Say that one-hundred times quickly and it will make sense.

52 So Obamacare "won" did it? ...and Sebelius is being replaced? But I thought she was resigning because it "won" thereby removing the need for that position yes? So this person is resigning in victory as were? Where and when does this clusterfuck of a nightmare administration stop?
