It dosen't matter what era or epoch, all human activity contributes one thousath of a percent or less of CO2 to the atmosphere.

The 2017 city council elections turned into a post-Trump "lolgf nothing really matters" bonfire. Some long standing business friendly (i.e., normal adult) council members were gleefully thrown overboard for proudly progressive candidates, and we elected not just one, but two, transgender representatives outta fourteen total. Oh, and, we elected Keith Ellison's son, who's arguably less refined and more radical than his father.
First reelection for this group of council members happens this November, and there's no sign that any seat will swing back to moderate members.
In fact, earlier today, one of the candidates, Margarita Ortega, posted on Facebook: "Just a personal thought- Just in case y'all feel like burning shit down, the poor community is not your oppressors. FYI- lake of the isles has more then [sic] needed and won't be missed." Comment will be mostly ignored by local media, but it's an awfully bad sign of the times.
So, yeah, Minneapolis is beginning to make Madison, Wisconsin, formerly the most progressive major city in the upper midwest, look like pikers by comparison, and we're rushing to catch up with Portland and Seattle in terms of best (worst) clown show.
I doubt I'll still be living here next year.

My Academy here, you have to get in line at 6 AM, get a number, then you get let in in pairs before they open and you're allowed to get a max of 4 boxes (I think) TOTAL.
I'm not doing that.

Can't get anything from Academy here unless you are standing in line by 0600 on Sunday. Their delivery truck gets there between 4-6am on Sunday and they put out what they get on a first come first serve one box per caliber limit.
You walk in when they open and go to the ammo area and stand in line and hope there is something left when you get to the counter. I quit going.
I check the pawn shop whenever I go to Sherman and sometimes get lucky. Lately they always seem to have 9mm but it is a one box per day limit.

China has created historical plots hole for themselves. You see, they take claim for Khan and the Mongol conquering of Asia and use it to justify their expansionism in general, but also their claim on Mongolia. Khan is a Chinese historical hero.
The first plot hole is that China reveres the Han ethnicity and claim superiority to all other races, but the Khans were not that. Claiming that The Han have to take over to the West because people in the West are inferior and unable to govern themselves is incongruous.
The second plot hole is that they claim the US is an evil country that is built on stolen land and a genocide. But this pales in comparison to Khan and Khan is used to refute the claim that Chinese always are, and always have been a peace loving people who never gave any cause for the Europeans to meddle in.
