— Ace Even though I've never heard of this group, the visuals are pretty funny.
I'm not smart like Michael. I'm not sure how to embed YouTube videos.
Of course I can't think of anything Older than Frankenstein.
This video isn't even a month old.

— Ace So we were sitting around Innocent ByStanders earlier, trying to figure out who we could pick on once Ace's place opened for business again. As with all things, the market eventually works out the answer.
I am hereby declaring tonight "The U.N. Bashing Bash" aka "The Turtle Bay Roast": a chance to sensitively and multiculturally explain to our International neighbors in Manhattan why they are poopyheads. more...

— Ace For your inner Friday night geek, try this. Having the US relinquish authority of the Internet's top level domain registration, ICANN, may be nothing or it may be the beginning of some really crazy bad. I'm personally thinking it's kind of like the US sponsoring the UN - who would have thought it could get this bad in 1945?

— Ace As some of you know, I used to be the Lightman for Mr. Paul Anka. When I wrote Ace, back in January 2005, and told him some things about PA, he posted this.
That entry made me realize the power of INTERNET tubes.
First I started my own blog at blogidaho.com and then on April Fools Day of this year (more or less), I created a group blog as a joke. That blog became what is now known as Innocent Bystanders.
Most of the 'Staff' will be familiar to Practitioners of the AoSHQ Lifestyle.
When Ace invited the Innocent Bystanders crew to guest post, I was very excited.
Wow, me posting at Ace of Spades HQ.
I'm tempted to start singing The Circle of Life or Cat Scratch Fever or something.
Should I post something related to Mr. Paul Anka? Some never-before-seen photograph from the archives?
Should I try to go for teh Funny?
Some Horse-Petting fetish photos?
I think I'll just play it safe and link to an article about the place that I live passing a resolution making English the official language of Canyon County, Idaho.

— Ace It seems like the last couple of years have been plagued by truly horrible natural disasters. Floods, tsunamis, earthquakes, and drought have claimed hundreds of thousands of lives all over the planet.
What does the U.N. focus on? Well, that should be obvious. The United States is not doing enough for poor African Americans.
Updated: 4:57 p.m. ET July 28, 2006
GENEVA - The United States must better protect poor people and African-Americans in natural disasters to avoid problems like those after Hurricane Katrina, a U.N. human rights panel said Friday. The U.N. Human Rights Committee said poor and black Americans were "disadvantaged" after Katrina, and the U.S. should work harder to ensure that their rights "are fully taken into consideration in the reconstruction plans with regard to access to housing, education and health care."
Thanks guys. We really needed your advice.

— Ace I've watched this movie dozens of times. Most of you who know me know it's one of my favorite films.
That Kubrick. What a card.
I happened on it last night, and saw something new. With new eyes if you will, eyes wide open.
I think it has some sexual innuendo in it.
Do you think so too?

Michelle has more. Yes, the shooter was a Pakistani Muslim. The update doesn't say they've determined the motive yet, but they haven't ruled out the possibility that it's all George W. Bush's fault.
