— Ace Everyone plays it now, figured people might want to talk about it.
Steve, by the way, is so good at poker he's very nearly professional. Actually, he might even be considered professional at this point.
I had an idea that maybe I could figure out a way to have an AoS Pro-Am Hold 'em tourney. No idea how to arrange that, though.

— Ace It's a summary of stuff gathered from the various IP PI's sleuthing out Greenwald's various crimes, put together well and very coherently. All in one place, not scattered over a dozen posts.
And it's got visuals. It's got those hilarious sock-puppets from WuzzaDem as visual icons for the various Greenwald-aliases. So, like, you know if you see the puppet with the big handelbar biker-'stache, it's Thomas Ellers.
To recap: a really good recap. This whole scandal never had any sexiness to make it interesting, but it does now have the next best thing. Adorable puppets in fake moustaches.
Bonus! A new pet-phrase favored by both GG and his sock-puppets discovered-- the sarcastic use of the term "super-important."
Look: if I tried to pin a bunch of sock-puppet posts on a roommate or girlfriend or cabana boy, and all these sock-puppets kept saying "like a Viking" and "stone-cold homo" and "pooterocentric" -- would any of you buy that my Magic Defender just so happened to mimic all of my dumb catchphrases?

Thanks to dawnsblood.
More Video: Ever wonder how far a 747's engines could blow a car into the air when churning at full throttle?
No, I haven't either.
But though I never asked the question, the answer is pretty fun.
Thanks to John.

— Ace The other 28% abstained from answering, fearing the Rhodian Puppet-Creatures might be scanning their internet transmissions.
That's from Best of the Web, yesterday, I guess, because it's not on the main page.
However, today's installment is chock-a-block with good stuff, including a run-down of the vicious thugs Hezbollah wants released from prison in exchange for the blameless Israeli soldiers, as well as (scan down) the neat catch that while Democrats attempt to pretend they're more pro-Israel than Republicans, they beat up on John Bolton, of whom Israeli envoy Dan Gillerman seems to favor.
Israel's U.N. envoy, Dan Gillerman, said Bolton's arrival has been a "breath of fresh air at Turtle Bay precisely because he's not your typical diplomat.""I'm certainly not going to tell the Senate or House of Representatives how to vote, but if John Bolton were to be confirmed by the Israeli Knesset, he would get all 120 votes," Gillerman said.
So, guys, if you're so pro-Israel, why are you so against a guy whom the Israelis seem to think is actually on their side?
Thanks to Larwyn.

Thanks to Sharkman, hat-tip to The Anchoress for the idea.
And Speaking Of Jimmy Carter... One of Jimmy's former ambassadors (the chief of the US mission to Iraq, oddly enough) is defending Hezbollah.
Hezbollah.
The terrorist organization.
Quote: “A terrorist organization is in the eye of the beholder.”
You, sir, are a goof.
Video and more hornswaggle at Allah's link, above.
Another Blogwar Brewing... Some say Steve Buscemi with boobs, but that's not right, because Steve Buscemi is cool.

— Ace Ten dollars per hour, plus $3 per hour in fringe benefits, by 2010.
Wal-Mart's against it.
So, in fact, is Mayor Daley, who has this crazy idea that the actual wage imposed by the ordinance -- $0.00/hour -- is actually not a "living wage" at all.
And also opposed to it are many black business owners in Chicago, who have this crazy idea that artifically raising the cost of labor may cause them to stop hiring people, and maybe shutter up their shops altogether. [The last bit noted, oddly enough, on NPR, not in the article cited.]
Still, passing the law makes progressives feel good, and that is, in the end, the entire point of governance.
"Passing a law which will wreak great havoc upon the public weal is a just and noble thing indeed, because the guiding principle of democracy should be 'If it feels all right, let's do it all night.'"
-- Thomas Jefferson, from Stuff Jefferson Said (3rd edition, revised), in turn quoting from Stuff The Artist Formerly Known As Prince Said On, Like, At Least Nine of His Songs, 2nd edition.

— Ace The computer is dying. Sometimes it takes me five minutes to write a pargraph, waiting for it to to manage the heavy-processing task of recording a single sentence's worth of data.
And a second Iexplorer keeps popping up on my task manager, too.
Is it time to just wipe this piece of crap and reinstall Windows for the fourth time?
I guess so. I am going to wipe this disgrace of a computer so hard it'll have nightmares.
PS, this is a Dell laptop. I used to think Dell's were pretty much okay as far as quality. I have to tell you, this thing is awful, has always been awful, has not worked since I took it out of the box, and no one at Dell Tech Support in Texas, or rather Mumbai, seems to give a rat's ass.
I have had this just over a year. I have had to wipe it and reinstall Windows for one reason or another three times already.
