OBAMA ALSO SIGNED POLITICAL CONTRACT PROMISING GREATER COOPERATION BETWEEN HIS OWN NEW PARTY AND DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISTS OF AMERICA
— Ace

Membership has its privileges.

Here, and here.

About 50 activists attended the Chicago New Party membership meeting in July. The purpose of the meeting was to update members on local activities and to hear appeals for NP support from four potential political candidates.

...Candidates must be approved via a NP political committee. Once approved, candidates must sign a contract with the NP. The contract mandates that they must have a visible and active relationship with the NP.

The political entourage included Alderman Michael Chandler, William Delgado, chief of staff for State Rep Miguel del Valle, and spokespersons for State Sen. Alice Palmer, Sonya Sanchez, chief of staff for State Sen. Jesse Garcia, who is running for State Rep in Garcia's District; and Barack Obama, chief of staff for State Sen. Alice Palmer. Obama is running for Palmer's vacant seat...

The media just didn't vet this guy at all, did they?

But they darnsure vetted Palin.

Post Edited: I didn't really get what was being alleged when I posted. As I understand it now, this is merely cumulative evidence of Obama's membership in the New Party, not proof he was also a member of the Democratic Socialists of America. So it was building on the previous posts, not opening up a new line of inquiry.

However, Politically Drunk asserts the New Party was founded by the DSA. I haven't gotten around to digging into that.

Hmmm... Even a radical at Occidental College?

Gee, how on earth did he just randomly wind up in Bill Ayers' orbit.

These people seem to say this without much prompting.

But Obama didn't know, huh?

Thanks to... I don't know where I got this. Let's say "Thanks to Shirley."

Oh wait, it's MarkV. Which is kind of a pretty cool name and initial, huh?

Palin To Drop Opening Puck at Flyers Game
— Ace

Hockey mom.

The Flyers boards are going crazy with liberal rage, DaveR tells me. They promise they'll boo her, boo her darn good.

I have a feeling that there are going to be a lot more cheers.

In more goofy news, one of the Pussycat Dolls has invited Palin to join that group, saying, "She seems like a headstrong woman, a tough chick. And she's hot."

Note one of the qualifications was not, "She can sing like the Dickens." Ba-zinnngggg!

For those who don't know the Dolls', um, work, here's a video of theirs, with a Content Warning for sexual suggestion and hot chicks contorting their bodies in ways the Church Lady would disapprove.

I have to admit... I wouldn't be averse to Sarah Palin loosin' up her buttons.

I would not be frontin'.

Well actually I would be frontin'. Her husband would kill me. It would be a "dangerous incitement" to not be frontin'.

Thanks to Ace Queen for that.

Coordinated Dem/MSM Spin: You Can't Even Mention Ayers, Because It's 1) "Ugly" and 2) Incidtement to Shoot Obama
— Ace

I apologize for the rather alarming headline.

That's Joe Biden's claim, though. Not mine.

Ann Curry, "journalist." "Ugly" tactic.

Joe Biden: "Dangerous incitement."

Joe, for eight years your party has called Bush a fascist murderer who would likely cancel the 2008 elections, end the American experiment with democracy, and establish a presidency for life.

A leftist contingent sympathetic to the Democratic Party -- New Party types, actually -- has blared for five years that George Bush actually knowingly murdered 3000 Americans on 9/11 to get the nation into a war fever so he could build a trans-Caspian pipe.

Was that not incitement? Or did you just not mind if someone took a shot at President Bush?

All that crap about Bush was fringe fantasia, political pornography. Which the Democrats encouraged by silence when they weren't expressly encouraging it by words.

And now you're claiming that it's too dangerous to point out Obama's true long-time association with a terrorist because it's "dangerous'?

Isn't that convenient for you.

PS: When Hillary Clinton raised the Ayers issue, was that also a "dangerous incitement"?

Or are only rightwing Republicans -- such as Lee Harvey Oswald, Sirhan Sirhan, Squeaky Frome, the Weather Underground, etc. -- potential assassins?

Former Sen. Jack Danforth to Hold Conference Call on ACORN Voter Fraud in 20 Minutes
— Ace

I'll be calling in.

Looks like our guys are trying actual pushback against this radical voter fraud/fraudulent mortgage application organization -- which is, by the way, strongly linked to the New Party.

On Now: In Jackson County, MO., the same person was registered ten times under different SSN's and addresses.

Q: Claire McCaskill claims there is no proof of fraudulent voting, so t his is no big deal.

A: Fraudulent registration is also illegal. ACE ADDS: Um, the Democrat's refusal to check IDs also makes sure that there won't be much evidence of voter fraud. Their own rules hide the evidence-- by design.

Back to Danforth: System "swamped" with these fraudulent registrations, which "overloads" the system and prevents detection.

In Nevada, the Dallas Cowboys starting line up was enrolled to vote by ACORN.

Q. Liberal media asshole spins for ACORN, claiming there was no problem last cycle.

A: Um, there were 12 convictions, dude.

Q: Oh, yeah, well ACORN says they "fingered" those people themselves. (Riiiiight...)

A: Whatev's, Dude.

Q: How do you permit real registration while stopping the flood of fraudulent ones?

A: Missed this answer, actually, but it sounds like he said you firm up the screening process to allow stuff like instantaneous electronic verification. Which I assume the Democrats block, as "racist," or something.

DANFORTH: Is trying to explain to reporters that fraud is inherently bad. Odd that he needs to make this case. He invites reporters to consider the "nightmare" scenario of Obama winning narrowly on suspected fraud, and what that would do to the country.

Suggests we need representatives from each party and the media at each polling place to ensure that no fraud is going on.

Also wants firm rules for precisely when judges are allowed to extend voting hours -- which happens, of course, every fucking year in St. Louis. They suggested this to the Obama campaign -- no response received to either of these suggestions.

"At least it would be a start, at least it would be a sign that both parties have an interest in competent elections."

But Obama seems uninterested. (Ace's gloss again.)

"There is a clear connection between Obama and ACORN. He has taught classes for ACORN. He gave $800,000 to an ACORN group. He defended ACORN in court. There is a close connection. Obama should have a special interest in making sure his allies do not practice fraud." [paraphrased, sorry]

Last question: Were the Bush attorney firings motivated largely by refusals to investigate and charge ACORN for fraud?

A: I don't know.

Background Reading: NetRight Nation is documenting all of these investigations.

More: Hussein's Rotten ACORNS are Falling: Now with "dangerous incitement" videos.

Progressive Populist Magazine and the Democratic Socialist Party of America Also ID'd Barack Obama as Member of the New Party
— Ace

I think this was all mentioned in Politically Drunk's report, but I'll emphasize it in a new post, and throw a link to Newsbusters.

If my own original post gave the impression I was relying on a single web document for this -- well, that was an erroneous impression.

Sarah Palin was not a member of the AIP, but the media claimed she was.

We now have proof that Obama was a member of the Marxist/Maoist/Socialist/Black Power Politics New Party -- will the MSM even breathe a word?

A Question About McCarthyite Guilt by Association
— Ace

If Barack Obama can link John McCain to George Bush every day-- as well as the oil companies, Wall Street fat cats, etc. -- why is it an impermissible "distraction" to link Barack Obama to his political patron William Ayers and his intellectual mentor Frank Marshall Davis and his former party the socialist/Marxist New Party?

Isn't the point of all these linkages the same -- to suggest that one's associates and allies substantially define one's thinking, and suggest that one's stated positions are actually dishonest to a large degree, whereas these associations reveal one's true, unexpressed positions?

Just curious if the Obama campaign or the MSM (but I repeat myself) will ever explain the distinction.

Media Halfwit Contrives New Euphemism for Ayers' Terrorism: "Violent Guerrilla Protest"
— Ace

I remember a rather spectacular violent guerrilla protest on September 11.

This is the entire problem with the left-- and Obama. They're still trying to excuse this and engage in apologetics for it. Because at heart they don't think what Ayers did was really that wrong. It was understandable.

Just as the 9/11 bombers' anger was "understandable," as well. A breakdown in empathy, as Barack Hussein Obama declared.

Another Random Coincidence: Obama Just Happened to Have Been Hired as a Summer Associate at Sidley & Austin Law Firm, Which Had Just Happened to Also Hire William Ayers' Wife, Bernadette Dohrn
— Ace

Lot of allegations packed in here. I'll just highlight this one, because it's, you know, demonstrably true.

Why did Obama get hired as a "summer associate" in 1989 at the law firm which had hired Ayers' wife, and where Ayers' father was a prominent friend of the managing partner at Sidley & Austin? The answer is obvious. Ayers was grooming Obama as his future "front."

Just a guy in my neighborhood, huh?

So, if I'm to understand this, Ayers and Obama were men of the left at Columbia at the same time, and Obama was hired by the firm that hired Ayers' wife, and further, influenced to do so (no doubt) by Ayers' father who would later "fix" things for his son and his Manson-fan psychopathic wife and get them jobs at his university, but we're to believe, I guess, that Ayers and Obama never met and were not friendly and all of this is just random coincidence.

I don't think Obama needed help getting a job. How is it he wound up at this firm in particular?

Just "crossing paths," as the NYT whitewash pretended?

Thanks to JackStraw.
