The first sixty seconds are perfection, and then she really turns it up to eleventy when BO and Lis Wiehl try and shut her out.

I bet BO really hates having a finger waved in his face. He also calls her "Kelly". Not "Ms. Kelly", just "Kelly" as if he's perhaps confused about her first name.

The media continues its "attacking Obama is all racism, only racism" coverage, courtesy of Chris Matthews (video below the fold, but to get the whole thing go read his yammering in the followup transcript). Congresswoman Donna Edwards won't give it to him in the interview, but that isn't necessary. Congress did their wrist slap and now it's the job of the media fan the racism flames.

They're on it. Even got themselves a doddering ex-President to give em a boost. It's almost like a memo went out or something.

Lowry doesn't mention the reason why ACORN is giving tax advice. It's because it's a "partner organization" with the IRS, giving free tax advice to lower-income people and being paid federal dollars to do so.

As far as I can see, most of their advice seems to involve tax evasion rather than tax compliance. And for declared child sex slavers, no less.

The GOP is demanding the IRS end its "partnership" with the criminal organization ACORN.

This constitutes a "controversial" proposition in the ObamaNation.

Um, why does the federal government need to pay an organization to tell whores not to bother paying their taxes? Seems like that's their natural inclination, anyhow, and such advice can be freely provided by anyone else they know.

A federally-supported organization ought not be providing that advice.

And we, as taxpayers, sure as hell shouldn't be paying cold hard cash for the amazing advice "just don't pay your taxes, put your money in a tin can and bury it."

I thought all of this sort of noise was coming from Pelosi's Praetorians in the House.

But here's big fat soft liberal Senator Jay Rockefeller saying he won't vote for any compromise bill.

Rockefeller cited four main concerns: The lack of a public insurance option, changes to Medicaid, changes to the State Children's Health Insurance Program, and overall affordability provisions. He did caution that he reserved the right to change judgments once the final bill comes out, although it's unlikely that bill will look much different than what Baucus has already released.

Later in the call, Rockefeller suggested four to six Demorats on the Finance Committee had similar feelings, although he didn't say (and may not know) whether they feel as strongly as he does.

It might very well be that a full-on liberal bill can only get 45 votes and a compromise semi-liberal-with-fake-centrist-stuff bill can only get 45 votes.

And thus Obama gets no bill at all.

Which would, of course, be racist.

If Obama doesn't get a bill that he can pretend improves people's lives, white bitter clingers will feel free to start spreading anti-Catholic tracts and shouting about "drunken filthy fish-eaters" and screaming about "creeping Papistry."

Don't believe it? Believe it. Every white person is one racially-coded wink-and-nod away from signing up with the Invisible Empire of the Ku Klux Klan. A Democratic Representative said so, so it must be true.
