— CAC Onwards we push through the Milky Way, in this week's edition of the Spaced Out Challenge. Finally leaving the Sagittarius-Scorpius region, we enter the realm of the small constellations Scutum, Sagitta, and Vulpecula; and one third of the Summer Triangle: Altair and Aquila the Eagle

So, let's dive in, shall we? more...

— Open Blogger Traditionally, the imperatives of rock and roll music have been: indulge your desires, lose your inhibitions, take off your clothes, do what feels good, don't pay any attention to what parents, ministers or other authority figures tell you, they just want to stop you from having fun, etc.
Especially the taking off your clothes part. It's another method that men use to coax women into getting naked.
All of this is, of course, civilizationally unsustainable, and there's a price to be paid for this nonsense. And occasionally, the reality of this breaks through the dense cloud of fog such lifestyles tend to produce and there's a little pushback, not much, but it's definitely there.
Here's an early entry into this pushback category, the old anti-drug classic from Paul Revere and the Raiders:

...The only visible indication that a user is infected comes via a time-based trigger that is set to activate on July 4, Independence Day in the United States. On that day, the malware will replace the wallpaper on the infected device with an altered image (below, second from right) of President Obama that comments on recent events in the United States...

— Open Blogger I keep hearing from the liberal commentariat about how everyone outside the U.S. really loves Obama, and think he's just wonderful, and how much good-will he has to accomplish great things for the U.S. internationally.
Funny how none of these photos show up in the NY Times. Maybe a few giant puppet heads would help.
Below the fold, some geezers show you how it's done, old school:

— Ace You see, I just didn't want to believe it was my brother screaming.
During cross-examination by the defense, Mark O’Mara brought up the fact that Fulton was not always so certain that it was Trayvon’s voice yelling on the 911 call. “How do I explain it?” Fulton wondered aloud to O’Mara. “I guess I didn’t want to believe that it was him. So that’s why during that interview I said I wasn’t sure. I guess listening to it was clouded by shock and denial and sadness. I didn’t really want to believe that was him.”
Good work, Coach.

— DrewM Above The Post Update:
I spotted that story yesterday while on vacation and didn't see there was some push back by Team Walker on this.
You can watch the whole video here. Starting at 1:48 one of the questioners says something like "you don't have to have a position on the specific bill" and then describes the bill and Walker says, that that's the sort of thing we need. He also says if you fix the legal immigration system to allow more people in, you don't need more border security.
So, no Walker didn't endorse the Senate bill but he did endorse every crappy amnesty idea and libertarian near open border idea.
Added: I transcribed the key bit, you can watch the video for the full Q and A.
Questioner: Can you envision a world where with the right penalties and waiting periods, and meet the requirements where those people [illegal aliens] can get citizenship?Walker: Yeah, sure. I think it makes sense
